Another example of how pretty much every Sopranos character was a hypocrite through and through. The scene shows his lingering resentment towards Janice, including how he's never forgiven her for rifling through her wallet. Yet he sends Murph to the car to buy himself enough time to lift the change out of his jacket pocket.
Aida Turturro is amazing as Janice. Almost every fan of the show despised her. You almost forgot she was acting and started to think she was a real person who you would actually hate. So underrated.

I dunno, I felt in some ways Junior was protective of Bobby, like the death glare he gives Janice after she and Bobby sing, “I Got You Babe,” like, “Don’t mess with my boy.” Then again, there is a transactional aspect to Soprano relationships, and Junior dislikes anything that could imply anyone might put someone else before him. But Bobby definitely loved Junior, and one of my favorite bits is in “Where’s Johnny?” where he snaps at Janice, “Sometimes I think I love Junior more than you!” Janice’s priceless reaction says both, “Wait, you love Junior?” and “Wait, you think that *I* love Junior?”
I don't think people give enough credit at how well written these characters are specially Janice. Yes she is narcissistic, selfish and plain annoying and negative for the most part but she absolutely helped Bobby not to fall apart after his wife's death. Selfish as she was, she felt true feelings for a man she perceived good at heart and was there for him (and eventually the kids). Bobby was completely disconnected from life when his kids needed him the most and was also leaving his job unattended. She put him back on track and flawed as she was, she was a real company for him in a moment of complete solitude. She is very annoying, but she is not just a cartoonishly annoying sister who is there to exasperate the public and nothing else. She is alive.
