If it was Carmella who died, Tony would say “what you gonna do” probably a hundred times at the funeral
Nah. It would brake him
@@notsureiL 😂
Speaking truly he’d actually be destroyed by it
Lol
While he stuffed his fat face with Gabagool at the buffet at the funeral Wake. Then off to the Bing with the crew.
Honestly being married to Janice is probably a worse fate than death.
It appears to me that Bobby was a good fit for Janice
Its definitely an occupational hazard.. Not to mention there are better looking men in the can that Tony's sister Janice.
Bobby was too kind that he never thought that way
@@notsureiL yea
Considering he also had Mikey Palmices widow hitting up on him too, and he picked Janice. Blech.
I love how envious they all look at the funeral because they know their husbands don't love them like Bobby loved Karen
I thought the same thing. So sad.
“At least she didn’t suffer”
Except Ginny, to him she was rubenesque.
I thought they were just sad at that fact, not envious.
@@andreicelmare6048 They are sad, but when the camera pans from Bobby to Tony and the gang, you can see that their husbands are emotionally disconnected. The envy shows on the wives' faces
Bobby bawling like that really gets to you. He didn't have any side women. He loved Karen enough to not partake in that part of the Mafia life style. He really was the least scummy of the crew.
Didn’t even kill anyone till the very end
He definitely was. Those moments between happy and loving couples really stand out on the show. Bobby and Karen/John and Ginny scenes are written and acted really well and you get the feeling they really loved each other.
@@socallawrence the last thing he said to me was, I love you
always thought silvio and his wife loved eachother, at least more than tony and carm
@@frankycnguyen same you could tell they were honest with each other.
A healthy marriage on The Sopranos is as rare as a non-tacky outfit on Furio Giunta

Give me 1000 dollars
Now survive thiss piezz'emmerd!
It's only tacky if you wear it
Almost too much to see Bobby cry. It's like a giant CareBear wrought with grief.
Your comment is golden and true 👌.
Yeah - but to cry like a woman? It’s a fuckin’ disgrace.

Poor innocent bobby. Was a genuine loving husband, got stuck with Janice instead. Most innocent and kind hearted souls often have to suffer the most evil.
Yeah, happy healthy and genuinely loving marriages are a VERY rare thing on the sopranos. Bobby and Karen, John and Ginny, and ....that’s it. When you see couples that love each other and don’t cheat it really stands out. They’re always written very well too, especially in John and ginny’s case.
@Eric Hartman Only because Tony forced him after Bobby kicked his ass. Bobby wouldn't have otherwise, and when the guy dies and rips Bobby's shirt it symbolically shows him losing his heart. I think Bobby may have been the only truly good character. His gruesome death was the most shocking one for me.
@Furio Giunta and JoJo made a mean marsala too
Yeah the last few seasons showed what a scumbag sociopath Tony was. He insulted a made man's wife inside his own home and then when he got his ass kicked for it he forced him to kill someone.
Charles Schwab over here.
You can see the envy in Carmella's face while Bobby was grieving at Karen's wake. Wishing Tony loved and cared for her the same way. These people ...WOW!!!!!!!!
Rigger
They don’t care, jewelry and money is all that they want
No, she was wishing Tony was in the Coffin instead of Bobby. She already knew Tony was no good. You obviously don't understand woman like Carmella. Bottom line and ruthless.
@@MichaelGiordano777 Carmela would be out on the street if Tony died. No way she could keep her lifestyle.
@@MichaelGiordano777 Complete opposite, if Tony dies the gravy train is over and she's in Rosalie's situation. She even asks Rosalie if Jackie left her enough when he passed (which Rose says he didn't). She was all about money which is why she definitely did not want Tony to die.
The sound that chair made when Ginny sat down. Screaming for help.
Notice how when gabby sat down the chair didn’t make a sound lmao

Ginny? I thought that was Robert Smith for a second

@From the Shadows Emerges... “now here’s a guy, even I dislike”
Janice made me physically ill during that season. I mean, she was always gross, but the way she played with Bobby’s emotions like that, some dark shit man.
Best writing ever. She was so well written. No show comes close, except perhaps Rome and Mindhunter.
Janice and Tony learned from the best
I fucking despise how she parasites her way in and exploits his misery, she’s unbearable
Yeah, Karens homemade frozen Ziti out the freezer so soon was crossing the Passive/ aggressive line. Even for Janice. She was a real crazy SOB with the Carpal tunnel always.

2:58 its funny how they have their own pecking order of mob wives. Carm is the skipper of the broads.

@@SW4Life202 i imagine whenever Rosalie sees Carm she gets up and goes OHHH THERE SHE IS

I never noticed that Rosalie Aprile did the car door for Carmella. It was very Mob boss-ish and the camera lingered on it.

Could the argument be made that if Karen never passed away, neither would Bobby? Bobby’s marriage to Janice directly correlates with his upward mobility, as she wouldn’t accept her man in anything less than a top tier position. By 2007, New York identified Bobby as #3, even though he used to be nothing but “Junior Sorpano’s driver” in the Karen era.

Wife died who he really loved and seemed to be like a nice enough woman and then later gets stuck with Janice which was such a downgrade for a wife/mother. Almost glad he gets whacked since no man should have to deal with that
Did you forget Bobby had 2 kids?
@@MichaelGiordano777 Yeah, those kids are now stuck with Janice raising them. That likely won't end well. She cleaned up her act a lot while married to Bobby, but without him around or Tony, she would likely really struggle and might flake out on them and just leave them. In some ways, the best thing for those kids would likely be leaving them with Karen's parents if they were still alive or a non-mob family friend. No matter what though, those kids will have been through a lot of trauma losing their mother and father suddenly within just a few years of each other, dealing with Janice, and then likely Janice eventually being the mess that Livia was, or dumping them off and bolting on them.
Poor Karen, she was a saint! A saint!!
Bobby should've been the one making fun of the other mobsters for not having unhappy vapid marriages and having to run around with different women to fill their empty souls and destroying their private lives at home. Johnny Sack was a close second at least in the sense of having a loving wife to come home to.
