Great video! I have watched Daniel’s excellent Ultimarc tutorials and I have invested in all Ultimarc parts for my new gamepanel for my old arcade machine. Now I only need to find the time to actually put it together 😀 Daniel is an amazing man 👍

My god there's so much! 😂 I love it! Especially the buttons for pinball. Out of a lot of arcade builds, I'm surprised someone would want that on the arcade machine and not do a separate build in the shape of an actual pinball machine.
I'm not a fan of arcade, but this is one such a beautifull and crazy build, I immediatelly fell in love with and really now wish I would have it :)) And I decided this is going to be the project for me this year

@@billislois That's not what you said 😉 Anyway, imo VR is also better for retro gaming with the likes of NRAN Neon, EmuVR etc... feels even more authentic when you encapsulate the environment the games are actually played in too. I have a £3k cab and a £3k VR rig, the VR rig wins hands down overall but the cab is better for multiplayer.

Easier way to do this is to go to your local Sams Club, buy the Legends arcade, and connect any hyperspin/launchbox setup to it, and you instantly can do the same without paying the price. Sometimes they're on sale for under $400
yeah my top comment was saying this is more flashy then usable.Its a cool machine but the ultimate arcade machine wouldnt be focused on xbox games and other consoles just arcade stuff. 48TB machine with some kind of fold out wheel and pedals for all the arcade racing games,light guns for all the shooters and other things arcades use would be the ultimate arcade and have them running right.

I thought i was King in 1999 when i built my first Mame Cabinet with over 3,600 Games
It still runs today and cost just under $3,000 to build back then, Encoder Boards were very exspensive like all the parts, Same thing today $600 with change

The only thing I would change on this otherwise flawless beauty is swap out the flight stick for light gun holsters, but I'm sure they could be added quite easily. 😉

Congrats for your cabinet.
Im building an 4player cabinet similar to this one. Love Ultimarc brand but the flightstick stem is too short for my taste. The hand gets too close to pannel. Retrofit the stem and raise 10mm the handle. Working on it. Soon will see if get good results.

Nice arcade setup.I like the machine setup overall Got questions Does the fly stick play well with the tron game? How about gun for shooting games?Also I d like to know about double controllers for example for Crazy Climber and Defender games. It needs pedals and steering wheel. It be good to also have flight control for flight simulator.

It’s an awesome build. Im glad they are putting out 20tb hdds now. 3 of these & RetroBat with 2 Xbox controllers is my preferred setup

48TB must be difficult to manage but also to choose a game. Just bonkers. All it needs now is a stool or high chair to play non-arcade games since some games are slower paced. That’s a nice sounding machine.

I would have several machines. One with a portrait monitor, one for landscape, one for light gun games, one for racing games and one for the consoles.

Ja 4 player project coming up whahaa... Maar 48tb is handig voor steam games beetje gave games zijn makkelijk 100 a 150 gb soms. Forza Horizon .. GT5 etc. kortom dus 48tb is veel maar gaat toch snel whaha

This is pretty amazing and very well thought out. Every controller you'd possibly need, 48 TB of gaming goodness, and the marquee that changes to whatever you are playing. This would be the only arcade cabinet one would need, ever.
I know you can plug in a steering wheel for racing games but what about a light gun for those type of games? And what about 4-player Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Do players 3 and 4 use the XBOX controllers?
Maybe a steering wheel adapter for the spinner perhaps. But agree it's very good
