It's a terrible idea for a team picking no higher in 2025 than 15 to wait to draft a quarterback. Any quarterback drafted after the top five picks is ready to start game one as a rookie. Draft Penix or Nix with a late first round pick unless Jerry Jones staff believe Trey Lance Jr. will be a pro bowl quarterback in 2025. Rookie quarterback without Dak Prescott in 2025 means Cowboys are tanking the 2025 season.

No sense blaming him for Dallas losing constantly in the playoffs. It was happening before Dak got there. Is he part of the problem with this current team, or part of the solution based on how he plays in the playoffs?
Dallas has other reasons for losing early in the playoffs but Dak is one of the reasons.

Am I missing something? How tf is Drake Maye better than JJ McCarthy for the Patriots at #3? JJ was coached in an NFL coach, ran an NFL type offense and only lost once his entire college career. I understand that he had more help on his team than Maye and that Maye has a bigger arm but JJ is ready to play now as opposed to Maye who needs a year or two to develop. If the Patriots truly are picking a QB at #3 and not trading down for more picks then JJ makes more sense to me
