Starbucks has tons of blends. I’m not talking when you go in and get a pike place, dark or blonde.. we have shelves in store and reserve stores carry a few dozen blends of high quality coffee that you can get ground for your at home brewers. You don’t know coffee if you say they can’t compete with Starbucks. Starbucks dominates the coffee market.

I would always get a 5 shot Venti latte at Starbucks but my $7.55 a day habit was quickly adding up. I bought this on a whim at Walmart for $2.68 and now it's my go to espresso

When I drink coffee I want to taste coffee. Bustelo does that.
This has been my only coffee for over 50 years. Nothing can match it, nothing.

I've been drinking this coffee as a kid. Yes as a kid. In my country we heat up milk and put a little bit of coffee. Here in the USA they put lots of coffee and a little bit of milk. So we really didn't get that rush or caffeine like people do. As a kid we enjoyed a little flavor to our milk and Cafe' Bustelo was the choice.

@@RJ-ek7ov its the best way. The thing is you can make enough coffee and save it. Just heat up some milk maybe a bit of evap milk and mix it really good and just add a bit of coffee in it to your taste.
I'm 33 and when my ex and I split and I had to move on my own, I could no longer afford certain things (like the expensive Starbucks and Dunkin coffees). So I switched to this coffee and I fucking love it more than most cofees Ive tried. It's cheep and it taste so good and it wakes me tf up.

Don't be fooled by my last name! It's my exhusbands last name,LOL! But my current husband is of Norwegian(his dad, and Mexican,mom). His ex wife was Puerto Rican and he always claimed that the coffee his mother in law made was the best he ever drank!! When he flew to Puerto Rico to visit with his then wife, he said he couldn't wait for the morning everyday just to smell the aroma and finally have a cup of what you just described! That along with thick slices of French bread lathered with fresh butter was the best!!
I am from Germany and never heard of this brand but wanted to try it and ordered it online. I drink a lot of good coffee, also instant coffee. This instant coffee is really one if the best I ever had. Will order again.

When I lived in Key West, (in the 90's) Cafe Bustelo was the primary coffee for the local Cuban shops. What was not sold as expresso shots (known by a different name) was reserved and used in the infinitely powerful "con leche" which was often served just like regular coffee in terms of sizes. Even though it is half of warmed milk I estimated that a "grande con leche" probably was at least a triple espresso and a ton of sugar.
That this coffee is intense is a total understatement, if I prepare my self a double shot espresso at around 8 in the morning I’ll be pumped till 5 in the morning of the next day

I'm 61 and over the years have spent thousands on high -end coffee. Finally tried Cafe Bustello. It's everything I ever wanted.
The only coffee I drink! Makes a great iced coffee as well as a hot beverage.
I usually stay away from ground coffee but as of a few days ago I purchased the brick, excellent.
Fell in love with Cafe Bustelo when i went to Key West. The coffee stand uses it for espresso and made cafe con leche Cuban style. So freaking good and bitter.
Hands down my favorite coffee. Every now and then and I'll buy a pack of Death Wish, but nothing compares to Bustelo!

Just plain excelente! There’s also a really good Colombian variation, and I’ve only tried it in K cup form. Usually buy the 10oz bricks. Once found them for less than two dollars each on sale and bought over 20 of them. The people at the store asked if I had a retail outlet. I say no stocking up for the end of times, and it will make an excellent barter item. Cheers🎉😂

I make myself a cortado every morning and another at lunch. Bustelo has a kick like no other. I even drink decaf bustelo at night cuz I can’t resist a café con leche.

I always keep a vacuum brick of Cafe Bustelo. It's not my favorite coffee but it has a real kick. I usually drink Peet's, or dark roast Sumatran coffee. Adding a scoop of Cafe Bustelo to the drip gives a big caffeine boost. I tone down the bitterness with a few shakes of salt to the grounds before brewing. I find that Bustelo has a long shelf life. I also keep a small jar of Cafe Bustelo instant espresso for when I have to work late. It doesn't taste great but gets me past my inertia when I have To stay late at the office. For a cheap supermarket espresso, you won't find better. I didn't know it has NYC origins. That interesting. I just assumed it was from PR in origin.

I never heard of this brand before. Seattle, where I live, is absolutely Starbucks. I don't patronize Starbucks. I drink Panjuna loose-leaf tea and I love it.

It's the ONLY coffee that doesn't give me the "Boo-Boo Gee-bee's! I can even drink a large cup before I head off to bed at MIDNIGHT, and I don't stay awake!
I'm furious because I just now found out that this coffee has sugar and carbohydrates when it should be 0g. And by not having a nutrition value label on the product that literally says it all.

I like a variety of espresso. Bustelo is my go to coffee. We use to sing: En mi casa son embusteros! BTW, the Moca Pot Best if you like it strong. There's always the old fashion Colador (Sock Strainer), makes the BEST COFFEE. I stay away from drip Mr. Coffee type machine, waste lots of coffee.

It’s great in the reusable K-cup! Makes great iced coffee too with the iced coffee button.

Guess I need to try. I do the cafe du monde which is very strong. Started drinking that when I worked in new Orleans for a few months.

I drink Bustelo as a blend with medium roast freshly ground beans. Bustelo is one dimensional and needs the freshly ground beans to brighten it up. That said, this combination is flavorful and truly full bodied And affordable.

Thats pure Bull KaKa Im PuertoRican Ive drank coffee since I was a teen We drank Bustelo,Pilon,before when you opened a brick pack the aroma filled the kitchen since 2014 My Family notice bustello tasted burnt like if it was cut with something someone told ne dried garbanzos, then we drank pilon for a while then the same thing,so we stopped drinking that,Now the best coffee thats is close to pure old school taste is el Morro.
