I love the choreography!
Herod was a type of king who did whatever Roman's asked and pretty much was betraying his nation, which is why he may be dressed in Roman style garb here.
This is one of the best shows I have seen I love it it was my second broadway show I love it I wish I could be on broadway someday
I'd love to see the whole thing please. I can't make it to New York and I live for clips like this.
they missed an opportunity for not making a cast recording for this production. now we gotta live off the bootlegs
Fabolous.where can i hear the musical?
Least play the whole song dammit. I wanted him to go off on Jesus.
Fair enough.
Good Nathan Lane tribute and thankfully not another rip off of the iconic movie version, overall bloody well done.
Near perfect characterisation of this song. I would have given a sceptre to Herod as a prop, and just a bit more Charleston.
Did you see Rick Mayall in JCS 2000? I thought it was the perfect interpretation of the personality.
That is because Rik Mayal fans are very much like Rik Mayal characters, shallow, shrill and sharp as a wooden spoon.
@@mauricemain3463 Did Rik Mayal hurt you? 😢
Yeah, he was great. The most sinister Herod of all.
finally a deep voice for harod. you know he was straight. Idk why the directors of all the different versions decide to ignore it
Just because you have a higher pitch voice doesn’t mean your homosexual. And just because you have a deeper voice doesn’t mean your heterosexual.
@@henrylivingstone2800 You obviously didn't watch any of the versions I'm referring to. There's a certain tone men's voices can have when they're high they straight men don't have.
@@Superdarkcloud666 I have watched almost every version on youtube and you are completely wrong (obviously prejudiced too). Having high or low voices has nothing to do with being straight, neither having a certain tone. Also I don't think you have information about the sexual orientation of Herodes, specially when this definition didn't even exist at the time. But you surely seem to be invested in it since it makes you extremely uncomfortable.
.....Herod wasn't Roman.
