I love your stretches! I am 43 and for the 1st time in my life, almost completely have my splits! Nobody ever showed me or told HOW to stretch for splits, they just kept telling me to keep stretching. No wonder I never got them! You showed me how with your videos and I really want to say thank you for helping me achieve one of my lifelong dreams. I can't wait for this video to come out!

I just looked up the Playlist on her channel and chose the stretching for splits, middle splits, legs, hamstrings and hips. I do these stretches every day. 🙂

I absolutely love this routine! It covers all the major flexibility groups which are useful for contortion-hips, back and legs! But also it includes a warmup and some other relaxing stretches which I need but don't always look for. It's quick and effective and is more efficient than if I looked up a routine for each of these groups. Thank you, Anna! It's my new go-to for a quick full body stretch.
I'm 19 and have always been unathlethick and unflexibel bc of not moving much in my childhood. I hope these stretches can guide me onto the rode of full mobility and give me the modivation to develop a healthy routine.

@@yes7639 it kinda did. I stuk to it everyday for 2 weeks but then kinda became once every week. But the good thing is l noticed my endurence got better and l became much more flexible compared to how l was before. Eventho l am just doing it sporadicly now, l still appreciate and enjoy tge exercises.

Hi everyone! writing my progress.. >.<
Day 1: ✅
This was SO PAINFUL that my legs started shaking, it was such a pain to bare and it caused me discomfort and torture (most likely due to the fact that I don't stretch)
Day 2: ✅(Along with a couple more stretches)
This was also painful since I was recovering from the soreness due to yesterday but I didn't see a change either way
Day 3: ✅(Almost didn't do it)
I was surprised when I almost didn't feel any pain (except that my shoulder slipped while doing 17:25) and I also noticed that the stretches were getting easier and more comfortable
Day 4: ✅
I felt absolutely no pain except for a little tingle at the leg exercises but I started getting really comfortable during this
You should’ve looked at the modification she on most of her stretches for beginners it works perfectly but it’s just for people who are just starting

i used to be a gymnast for around 8 years but i had to quit because of covid and financial issues, but now i'm 15 and i'm finally able to get back into it. i used to watch your videos a lot when i was still a gymnast and coming back to do your stretching routines has helped me regain so much already in just 3 days! 💕💕
I have a similar story I did cheer for 8 years and I was the flexible list on my team but I had to stop for a couple years cuz of covid and now that I stopped for a couple years I am not flexible I can't do the splits I can barely hold it back then cuz when I do a backbend I look like a box

I just want to add another comment. NOBODY is too old to start Ballet, Getting their splits, or any other kind of 'hard" activity! Your body is literal Magick! You can train it to do anything! Don't be ashamed to be older than Anna and getting routines from her! In my 43 years, I have learned to go to someone who is experienced in an area you want to learn. age doesn't matter! I hope to see more adults on here that follows Anna McNulty and works on her routines. 🙂
Thank u, sometimes im insecure of doing this at my age (15) and wanting to get into a nationals team but most people in that team have been doing it since they were very young and i get discouraged :(. But this really works and tryouts is in 5 more months so ite all up to my consistency :)
I'm 33 and there IS no age limit on when to start improving your fitness. There are people who start later in their 60's-70's even 80's. It doesn't matter :) I'm loving all her stretches, very easy to follow.

@@hob2671 Same I used to be able to do a front split but then I stopped stretching for a while and I wasn't able to do the splits so I'm learning again :)
@@krueldecisions I think I’m gonna do the same I use to be able to do a leg hold a back bend and the splits but I didn’t do it for a while but I learned it from her she really helped
I am currently 12 and I was taught that if you are not born flexible of you didn't do gymnastics at a young age you could never be flexible. Anna's videos help me with that and for that I am forever grateful

How many days does it take to get splits
@@itachi6088 if you stretch every day, it can take 30-45 days. Depending on how close you are already!

Hi, Anna! At the beginning of the stretches, I realized that there were SO many cricks and cracks in my back and neck. Ya loosened me up!! 😂 also, I can almost do a middle split every time I do these stretches!! :) thanks!!
I’m doing Anna’s stretches bc I grew up without doing sports bc I was too shy to perform in front of people but I’m starting Highschool this year and I want to change so in a few months I’m trying out for cheer and I’ve never done cheer before and it’s very competitive especially in the hs I’m going to so I hope these stretches will help me become more flexible and I can do a split

Even if this was a long time ago, thanks Anna! Even on the first day i went from not being able to do the splits to atleast being able to have both my legs touch the ground! BIG thanks to you! I’ll give you credits if i ever start to get flexible.
i used to be very flexible and i used to be a dancer back in middle 2018-early 2019. i still have a lot of flexibility but it's not as good as it was. i'm tracking my progress in the comments! luv u anna!
day 1 - done! felt a ton of pull lol
day 2 - done! there is a horrible pain in my back so i can't go as far as i can, i might get it checked out when i go to the doctor next lol.
day 3 - done! i skipped the warm up tho because i have terrible cramps (iykyk). plus it's like 12am, luv u!
day 4 - done! i was on the phone with my friend while doing it too lol. i go to the doctor tomorrow for my back.
day 5 - done! i went to the doctor and i found out i pulled a muscle, i can still do stretches though! i put a heating pad on it.
day 6 - done! i still felt pain in my back but it didn't hurt as much! i forgot to tell ya'll i signed up for the nutcracker! i might also go back to dance!
day 7 - done! i also forgot to say dance moms is my inspiration, along with dance and gymnastics in general.
day 8 - done! i took a break on friday (my break day) . i followed along while listening to the hamilton soundtrack lol.
day 9 - done! i skipped for like 2 days but still stretched. i went to the gym and i was exhausted.

Didn’t realize most of your five minute stretch would be at the beginning of this lol, but after doing said stretch first thing before my 4 mile run up the road, just did this entire video warm up and all. I really do enjoy your videos and can’t wait for more content. Myself, I am 27 and male, but I feel like the best thing I can do for myself before shifting into active duty in the Marines after six years in the reserves would probably be to start adding stretching to my routine again for longevity in health, and who knows maybe one day I’ll be able to do a split or some of the other awesome stuff you can do. Anyways, hope you’re doing great today and can’t wait for another stretch with you.

This is so helpful I used to be gymnastics but I quit over the pandemic and started to lose flexibility. I made it my summer goal to stretch everyday to see how flexible I can become.

I have been doing this stretch everyday for about 2-3 weeks now and let me tell you I have seen major improvements in my flexibility!!!! I started already seeing improvements on the 4th day of doing it! At first I could barely touch my toes but now I can comfortably touch my toes very easily!!🙌💗 If you want to get more flexible use this stretching routine it is very nice and beginner friendly. REMEMBER THOUGH CONSISTENCY IS KEY!! The stretching will only work if you do it everyday!🫵
I hope this will help me too I am starting it tomorrow because I can't do it right now I'm having to go to bed in 2 hours or so. I am starting to really like gymnastics and contortion I really want to get into a next year so I hope this will help me so it'll be easier for me next year.

@@evildoggo8162make sure to stretch everyday! I used to be a dancer as well, so routines like this are really helpful if your consistent. I’d also recommend learning new dance moves from just watching CZcams videos or if you have a routine given to you already then practice that till perfection!
@@evildoggo8162remember stretching is not a warm up. You have to warm up in order to loose in up the muscles for stretching. :)

Going to do this for my summer break since I used to do your stretches to see how much of my flexibility I’ll gain back ( this isn’t from scratch I’ve had a lot of flexibility in the past)
Day 1 ✅ always the hardest felt it mostly in my back
Day 2 ✅ a bit better pushed myself a bit more with the stretches still feeling stiff
Day 3 ✅ starting to notice I’m a bit more flexible especially in my back
Day 4 ✅ large improvements! I could go all the way back in my knee bridge and almost to the ground in my straddle!
Day 5 ✅ I didn’t see to much but am seeing that I could go all the way down in my straddle
Day 6✅ literally amazing! I’m 3 inches away from my splits!
Day 7 ✅ not seeing any improvement but I love the music used!
