Both are beautiful examples ! Ive been CC'ing Sigs for around 6 years or so with my primary/EDC being a P229 Legion/9mm but I recently got ahold of a P365XL an I have to say its been seeing quite a bit of carry time just for the simple fact its so dam comfortable/easy to carry !
I have a P229 & SP2022 in 40 cal. The 2022 is just a bit more accurate. It's a noticeable amount. I also have a P320, the other polymer Sig. The SP2022 is much better in my opinion. The 2022 is very underrated..
Bruderschaft der Essener 1. Mose 1:29 the DA/SA trigger imo. That and if i’m going to go sig i’m going with a hammered pistol, if i wanted a triker fired pistol i’d go for a glock
Both are excellent guns. The SP2022 was my 1st SIG and sold my Glock, which was unreliable, for it. The SP2022 has been referred as the poor man’s P226. I also own a P226 & W.German P226 & am waiting for a P228 to arrive. My other weapons are manufactured by CZ. I like steel, but also like my SP2022. I believe you get what you pay for; better pay a little more for quality and you get quality with the SP2022. With the P228, you have a legend and quality.
i have the m-17 with a few changes ,x-compact an the 365 xl could not be happier the 2022 is on my next list the sigs have so many acc.you can make it your gun
Which has the thinner grip? I'm looking to carry one of these two, and I'm curious which one would be harder to conceal from a grip thickness perspective.
Excellent video. If there wasn't that false first trigger reset, I'd jump on this gun (SP2022). That first click tricks me into thinking it's the real reset.
Come on bro, these two guns are very different in feel and shape. The sig classic series is still used and bought by serious handgunners. What should have done and could have done was to make the classic series guns in every was like the p228/229 and P226 . Instead they came up with the SP2022 wjich did'nt do well. IMO
The sp2022 did do quite well all things considered. Even despite Sigs unwillingness to market it. I can only imagine they didn’t want to cut into their own P series sales considering they’re some of their biggest and most profitable items. Who really knows why they didn’t market it much though. Even still it sold somewhat decently and won very profitable law enforcement contracts. Definitely wasn’t a flop by any means. Not even sure what “serious handgunners” is supposed to mean but this is still a pretty valid comparison. They are obviously incredibly similar handguns. Nearly identical slides with similar functionality and overall grip profile. A comparison is certainly warranted.
sp2022 is one badass pistol" 👌👌👌👌👌

Do you notice any difference in recoil impulse?
Why is the SP29022 better?
It sure is! Very underrated but kts gaining in popularity over the last couple years

The cheapest of Sigs is still better than the best of glocks, sorry G fanboys 😃

SmElly the 228 is better for small hands.
Does anyone know where I can get a 32 mag that will fit my sp2022??

That should be insignificant like it is to him and many many others who own this pistol. You can train yourself to ignor it.
Where is the hold on the 2022?
12 oclock on my 2022
Why do people always compare SP2022 with P226 when its size is more like P229
this is a 228......
@@HiBye-ec8ts I know, but outside of this video, 2022 is often called the cheap 226 when it's closer to a 229 in size.
You sound exactly like Chad from school of the American rifle. Are you him?
I am sorry but I am not.
I own a w. Germany p228 with 3matching serial. KE
2022 has a false reset
Yea I can hear it. They dont all tho. Ive seen some that don't so Im not sure why some do and some dont.
