When I'm looking at these cars I'm just imagining them back in the day. On the road, Driving families around town, going places. The comfort these cars gave people in their day, just imagining life in these cars back in the day. Beautiful times, America had shortly after world war II.

It is amazing to still see private collections like this available in 2022. This reminds me of what you would find in the 1970s. For the 41-52 large group of cars it would be real enjoyable to own all these and not only part out some of the cars but also restore/modify the other better condition cars at the same time. You could make a lot of good cars with that large number of cars to work with. There were a lot of 1942 cars shown here. The last time there were this many 1942 Chevys together in one spot it had to be at a Chevy dealer in 1942. This is one of my favorite videos. It really makes you dream about the potential all these cars have. It always makes me wish I could be there in person to see this. The shed full of car parts would really be cool to go through. Thanks.

It is awesome to see all of this collection lined up together like that. I used to have two 1948 Chevrolet cars when I was in college. I had the two door coupe version and one of the Fleetlines. When I got married, my ex made me sell them. I wish I had not had to. Sure wish I could afford one of these, but I can't. Thanks for sharing these amazing videos with us. I am looking forward to the next one when they are all being loaded up. I hope these all find some great homes and will get restored. Keep making your videos. I really love to watch them.

That prewar Oldsmobile is a Trojan style horse on the hood with the reins pulled back that makes horses head tilt down ! & my guess it was meant to show control of horsepower , & allot of those post war Chevrolet's should be a 2 for 1 to make a complete automobile , That was a nice field of dreams.

I love Chevy Aerosedans as well as GM's other versions for each division. I only hope many of these will be restored as original. I see way to many rodded classics these days as compared to correct factory resto's. If I wanted a fast, well-handling, modern sound system car, I'd just get a newer one. People have to respect what these cars were at the time.

I love them oldschool fastbacks. I'm from Poland and we had a lot of "Warszawa" [1951-64] cars in this particular body style. Warszawa was a licenced copy of the Russian Pobieda M20 and Russians styled their car in 1945-46 in line with the global trends that were in force at that time. In the 40-60s, the American automotive industry set the trends to which all constructors aspired. Even the Volga GAZ 24 of the 70's was designed to look like Ford Falcon. It is a pity that American producers have finally adopted the style from Europe and Japan. Cosmic shapes and plastic instead of chrome, woodgrain, luxury and "sofas".

Some of these cars have beautiful colors. Not talking about the house paint one. But the styling was just beautiful. I like the car with the airplane on the side of it. People may not know that especially in the 50s and 60s that some of the styles were influenced by the Space Race and the idea of people travelling to planets. My mother had an old car that she said was hers to go back and forth to work in the 40s or 50s. It was sitting up on blocks but she wouldn't let me look in it. She said not to look inside because there might be a snake inside. But I always thought it looked interesting.

Realistically, what one would be interested in is the sheet metal, chrome, and stainless trim parts. New modern geometry frames are available from several outlets. Those old stovebolt inline sixes are history because most guys who would rebuild one of these cars would likely choose modern LS, 4L60E , and some sort of IRS or 9 inch rear ends. And there are companies that custom cut window and windshield glass. Interiors are another area for personal interpretation. I say most guys because the modern driveline parts are more readily available than rebuilt or reconditioned original pieces, but if those old engines and transmissions are present, one could certainly go that route. There is certainly a wide variety of rebuildable old Chevies.
