Works of art, every last one 💔
When I was young in the 60s, the edge of town had many sprawling junkyards like this one. I spent many happy hours shopping up parts while watching for snakes & hornets!
And they all smelled exactly alike when you opened the driver's door on a summer day, lol.
The history in these cars are unbelievable
So many tri 5’s and other 2 doors to pick from. Not to mention the short bed trucks . One of the best yards yet . Keep on hunting Thomas 👍
Thanks buddy it really was the icing on the cake at the end of a bad day after three or four places that said no I found this guy..
@@heartoftexasbarnfindsandcl5193 Do the 55-57 series have the paint & trim data plate mounted near the firewall and the VIN on the driver's doorjamb?
Can you tell me where is that place ?
Please ,thanks
I'm always amazed at how many 57 Chevys are still around.
the 57's with the short fin stainless were 210 models not bel-air, the cars without b-pillars (post) were hard tops. It looked like there might have been a couple of 150's there also
Thanks for the Chevy show. My favorite ♥
Glad you enjoy it!
Awesome amount of 55, 56 and 57’s. Never so many of these cars together before.
Me neither, Crazy Kool
Awesome find Chevys rule😊
Taxes instruments....it was cool to have clock electronic in.,...1974....
Amazing! You did a great job with the years save for mixing 55&56’s. Easy to do. Even several 58’s - a more obscure year for collections.
You're a dangerous man to hang around with.
Seeing so many savable classics makes you want to save them all.
Thank you for sharing .
Hi! Good chevy’s 57 projects! Very good cars!👌👍😊☀️❤️😍❤️
..several of those '55-'56 "parts cars" are actually pretty nice shape to restore..we called the 4 doors all "parts cars" back in the 70's-'80's, too..but those days are gone...4 doors in decent shape are worthy of being more than "parts cars" now....
Yep! Even the 4-doors are worthy of restore now instead of "parts cars". Kinda like when l had dark hair, I plucked grey hair. Now that my hair is thinning, even the grey hair I leave in place.😗
You got that right I've been to some car shows seeing 4 doors all fixed up changed my opinion on the 4 doors.
My first car was a 1968 4 door Toyota Corolla. I fixed up into a show car in the late 80s early 90s
I'd rather have a 4 D HT than a 2 Door Post. Always Loved them, even in the ,70s. Saw so many broken Up needlessly, turned into Couches, "Wall Art" or just destroyed for "fun".
@@bigblockjalopy Exactly..all these cut uo front ends, or pickup beds, cut up for all this "art" stuff..don't even get me started on "tailgate benches" when there are so many old pickups that really need a good tailgate. Yes, often 4 door hardtops look better than not only 4 door sedans, but 2 door sedans as well. Examples are the '56-'57 Chevy 4 dr. hardtop vs. 2 dr. sedans, and the '59-'60 4 dr. "flattop" hardtop vs. 2 dr. sedan...
@@dyer2cycle yes, just like the 57-59 Mopar sedans, aka "turtlebacks". Those "airy", sleek 4 door hardtops look so much better. Yet, they still get cut up, after they survived 60 years!. It breaks my heart. I absolutely hate car couches, etc. What a disgrace. No real car guy would do or own something like that.
Holy s..t brother, that's the gold mine for tri 5's. The 57 2 door with the roll bar and the opened up rear fender wells would be a great choice to rescue. Your best video yet. May be worth a trip for me from southern Indiana to Texas and pick up my next project. My 55 2 door post car is done now so you never know. Great job buddy and looking forward to the next one.
Very good the videos.....saludos de aqui Argentina....
Nice job man! Killer video on the junkyard! The red 57 Safari with the top cut off is a shame! They only made 1296 1957 Pontiac safari 2 dr! They're the brother of the Chevy Nomad! Have a good one Buddy 👍
Thanks for the info. Is a shame.
I'd cut up any Chevy to fix that Pontiac, it's way common and not the common tri five Chevy
@@josephg41 I actually agree man the safari should be fixed if possible! Later man ✌
Mannn that’s a nice selection of Chevys. The footage was awesome and so we’re those 57s. Glad you finally got to check it out
So many great cars hopefully a bunch will get saved.
Thanks for sharing👍
I hope so too
I can't believe so many amazing cars and trucks are just rotting in the field 😳
You and me both!
Wow! What a treat to see all the remarkable cars. Good job man!
How many of us would like to be in your boots!!
Thanks Ronald. Living the Dream..
Cool video. Brought me back to when I was 16 the first car I ever bought was a 56 Chevy Belair . It was red and white ,we called it the bomb. Had vacuum wipes so when you got on the highway and it rained you had to zoom u to 60 and the let off the gas so they would work . Then youd slow down and have to zoom up again and they'd slow own. If you set in the back you'd have to ride in the middle of the seat because the finderwells were rusted. I loved that car. Thanks for bringing me back to my youth.
Thats cool Buddy. Thanks for the Memory.
Just when I think can't be many 57s left wow. Most iv ever seen at one time by long shot
It always blows me away how one person can accumulate so many vehicles. Looks like this guy really likes '38 Chevys, tri-5s and '49-'54 cars. AMAZING! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Accumulates, and lets them dissolve in the grass.
Scout be a great project. Great video on that yard, so much cool stuff. Mate I would go broke living over there, too many goodies that tempt me. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
I live here and yes we are going broke on these high gas prices!! I live in California bay area and it's $6 dollar's a gallon of Gas! I'm going to hung up the keys and put my car on none opp until next winter glade summer is coming pulling out the bike.
There's really not that many classic car's around you have to really hunt for any descent car's and truck's. I've been around classic car's and truck's my whole life car shows swap meets, wrecking yards when we had the biggest yards on the west coast where they built the battle ship's for WWII next door to CHEVRON the refinery. My uncle's Anuties worked for Genral Motors company right after WWII They build car's from early 50s on up to the early 1980s. Writing to long I was thinking as I was writing so it was bringing up old memories
Have a good one Robert Jean ✌🏽
These ol boys are gone but it is nice just looking at them
La verdad me da nostalgia ver tanto carraso tan bueno en esos cementerios de autos......
Loved your video 👍 really enjoyed it . Never thought places like this could still exist but there you go ! Some great project cars there . Thanks for posting 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice group of 3-5's! If he may not sell, what's he do with all that? A few of the '56s', you referred to as'55s'. A shame that the Pontiac Safari was cut. If only we could predict ahead many years ago. My friend cut up his '55 Chev. conv. to make a dune buggy out of it (ouch)⚠️
I'm a subscriber and I really found this video helpful as I'm fixing a '56 2dr. The fact that he has a good number of tri--5s',and I live in Texas, makes this convenient. Please let me how I can contact you to gain info. on this! Will gladly pay you a finder's fee.
Yeah Mon I'm 53 year's old and I can say I road in almost every year car and truck in that yard one time or another. Back in the 1970s 1980s 1990s we did a lot of cruising in California bay area RICHMOND, SAN JOSE , San Francisco, Sacromento, Stockton, friend's cousins uncle's brother's sister's went through some classic car's if I only knew I would have bought some land to keep them on.
I accully saw a video of a guy that had land in Texas that he bought a lot of cars and truck's out of California and took them back to Texas built a garage box for each car and truck tried to keep them under a roof the best he could.
He past away and his wife sold or had most of the car's and truck's crushed!!.
It was hard to watch the video knowing those were going to the crusher.
Forklifts was loading them in back of trailer truck's. The guy must have been collecting car's for many year's he had some really older stuff there. They looked in pretty bad shape from just sitting in the same spot for 60 70 year's some odd ball car's yeah It was heart breaking thinking some one would have love to fix a few of those classic car's up. Some look like they didn't need that much to get them back on the road. The one's that where under a roof like style must of had over 300 cars and truck's. It was on Mr. Goodpliyers video's
Looking for a two-door Chevrolet 54
all the sweet golden goodness in one place great shows keep up the good work
Appreciate your time and videos brother.
Looking forward to seeing more.
Hope you exceed your goal of 10k subscribers.
Thanks Mike. Soon I’m sure.
That '58 Buick really brought back some great memories! I learned to drive on a '58 Buick Special. If I had the time left I would be very interested in that one. Wish you had shown the interior.
Very cool! Sorry Richard.
Very good. I buy old cars, but those that need no work, as i am 81 and in poor health. But i try to buy ( right ) if you know what that means. Maybe not, since i am much older than you. I buy and try to sell and make a few bucks, no work except a window or something like that. ( 81 year old man. ) Missouri.
I Buy Low Sell High. I know what it means.. Also do work on them if necessary
Awesome video. Thank you for sharing it. Cheers from California.
Glad you enjoyed it! Hi from Texas
Even the cars in Texas look now like the rust belt ones 40 years ago
Yes sir that right there gold mine
Hey from here in the D Michigan and Thanks so much for your time and video of some very buildable projects. ✌🤲❤😇🐴

OMG !! Awesome someone who knows how to use a camera, very good camera work , The best walk around I have watched, Please talk notes other CZcamsrs, love to have a back yard like that , Cheers mate 👍
Thanks buddy. I’m trying some of my older videos or just as horrible as everyone else’s. Lol
I agree Andrew!
Great walkaround. Thanks
My pleasure!
I really enjoyed this. Amazing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Man I gotta know where that yard is at!! If I ever make it to Texas again I’m gonna set up housekeeping right square in the middle of all those tri 5 Chevys!! Heaven
You are one hundred percent right
you got to learn the difference between 55-56-& 57-side trim and tailights--lots of neat stuff
Thanks. Was a lot to take in Buddy. Thanks for watching
Oh man I like them 55 chevys, my pops had a orange one, best video yet thanks..
Thanks 👍
Very cool, if I was closer and had the room I'd be interested in some of these too. That '64 Impala SS needs to be back on the road, way too cool to be junked. Also keep in mind the 4-door cars are great entry-level affordable classics, not just "parts cars". I just picked up a driver '60 Bel Air 4-door as my first classic car.
Right on, Cool car
Omg I finally found the land of Chevys. Cuz I'm looking for a 71 droptop and hardtop Impala as we speak
Awesome cars!!
Glad you like them!
I watch a lot of these type videos looking for cool cars, see a plenty but always several states away. This yard is very well laid out.
Thanks for watching Wooley
@@heartoftexasbarnfindsandcl5193 Now I have to subscribe.
@@Wooley689 I appreciate that buddy I’m just a good old country boy Who loves classic cars
That guy is setting on a small fortune. The cat eye tailights and the dash out of that '59 Chevy around 30:00.......The lens, trim and dash would bring a few grand alone.
OMG you kept messing up calling the 55's as 56's lol. Don't matter cause I am into 50's and 60's Chevies and you showed me loads of them. This is one video I honestly loved. Great job!
Sometimes when they’re busted and rusted and you’re going down the line, you’re not focused the way that you should be, especially when there’s not much left of it. but, hey, three complete rows of tri-fives is pretty awesome I would say. Thanks buddy.
Studebaker sounds cool
Thanks for sharing great Chevy
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video much appreciated
Glad you enjoyed it
I appreciate you taking the time for this
Thanks Dale
Welcome
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching SR
Great find love the blue 58 chev an the 58 buick
Sweet collection
You are calling a lot of those 57 Chevys Belairs, but they are not Belairs. The Belair model had the long chrome on the rear, and the aluminum inserts on the rear quarters that said Belair. Most of those where the 210 model. Thanks for the video though.
Hi David, Yes I Know. Sorry Buddy, Just a Habit. Thanks Tho.
That Safari wagon you showed in your vidieo was Pontiacs answer to the Chevy Nomads. The Pontiac is supper rare. That one was scrap but any trim on the car is valuble.
Thanks for the info!
I’m an Aussie that was there in 2019 it really was a jaw dropping site…. Place is in Ross Texas
How are Things Down Under?
Alright thanks for asking; I’ve been into American classics mainly Chevy for over 35 years, currently cruiser is a 61 impala bubble top

Just keep posting those junkyard videos and I’ll keep subscribing! Thanks!!
Isso para mim seria um parque de diversões, adoro impalas, sou de laguna sc brasil, abraços
seems about right!!not for sale for some reason.i never understand it.rather leave them rot to let someone do something with them!!do you know what his plan is to do with them?
He was selling. But Changed his mind.
@@heartoftexasbarnfindsandcl5193 yup,seems about right.
I like the 1959 Chevy impala
Hi I'm watching your video's they awesome. Just one thing is I met of 57 Chevy Bel-Air owners and the said when the 57's were being built Chevrolet was I think on strike. So some of the Bel-air cars didn't have the chrome full length on the rear quarters. His grandmother bought the car new and he has documents proving it's a Bel-air
Thanks for sharing, Welcome Aboard. More to come
The yellow datsun b210 looks pretty good shape!
Nice cars ,,,,hopefully you can save both 64/62 i like for me anyone,,,,,thanks again 🤠👍 saludes from tucson Az.
That's the plan!
Your a little closer to
Ten thousand now you got my sub great channel👍
Thanks for the sub!
Say Doc, dig this in the 1950's if you didn't go for the chevy belair
you went for a chevy 210 series model back then. the 210
was a trim level below the belair and the biscayne the bottom
of them all base economy fullsize car virtually naked with out
chrome trim so there you have it so my man get your money on
and collect those hot chevy's you can't go wrong, love the video
Thanks
Great vid....................... 👍👍👍
Thanks Buddy
I need one of those hood Chrome pieces in front of the hood for a 56 Chevy I seen several there minus cracked right in the middle but I live in Arizona at least I know there's still out there somewhere thanks for the video 👍

Just discovered your channel and it's amazing. If it's not to much to ask for can you be on the look out for Nissan s13 240sx at yards. Parts for these cars are getting difficult to source. I'd highly appreciate that
wonder what goes through the minds of men to let such beauty go back from which it came, we have one of these individuals in toppenish washington he has a treasure cove of model a's and since the sixties when I was a child he will not sell them he just lets them sit and rot. my father tried buying some from him and he refused.
Hoarders...
The video is good quality
When I saw that red 57 chevy post racecar with the rear feenders cut, my heart jumped. I thought it was my long lost stolen 57. But no.
Would be crazy
Muito Legal,Very good
What ashame all that sheet metal just setting out there .. they'll either have a big auction or scrap it all when the owners pass away.😔
