If you guys likes the bread more, you should really try “pandoro” that is a version of a panettone that is taller and doesn’t have candied oranges and raisins.
The fact that it was originally made by a mistake 💀💀💀 Context:one of the chefs in some king's kitchens accidentally burnt the bread he was baking,so he added some dried fruits and some other things to make it better
Man i was wondering whether you were gonna make panettone to represent italy, the fact that you've even tried despite your lack of experience is impressive. Plus, honestly id did not look to had for a first attempt
As soon as November starts, every market here in Brazil starts selling it. Americans have pineapole on pizza discussion, here in Brazil its if panettone should have fruits or not (chocolote panettone is more popular here)
Here there are many variations of panettone (like with pistacchio cream, chocolate, pastry cream, the original with raisins and candied fruits, and handcrafted ones have many more), but the real debate is panettone vs pandoro (i stan panettone, while my sister pandoro, and it's warfare)
Hi beauty, how are you today? I have to admit that you are very beautiful and I couldn't see your profile without saying hello. If you don't mind, I'd love to get to know you better🌸
We also eat panettone in Brazil at christmas time. And here we also have a truffled chocolate version of it which we call "chocotone". But it is not homemade neither is a must have in the crhristmas dinner. It's more kind of a snack and is commonly gived as a gift, mainly from companies to its employees.
Despite being Italian it must be the most consumed Christmas thing in Brazil during the period, the only thing is that the variation with Chocolate is very popular too
Italians brought panettone to South America and we went so crazy with it that we eat it with hot chocolate in summer just because it's Xmas and in winter too because it's warm and comforting xD
@@D4rkkay Haha, at least in Perú, 20 years ago media glorified foreign products so if something could be advertised as foreign they'd make sure everyone knew that the sweet Xmas bread baked with our adapted local recipes and ingredients was 'Il vero panettone italiano' (the real Italian panettone) xD Now the trends changed so the ads are a mix to have an Italian originated product but with the quality of our ingredients and techniques.
As an Italian, I remember whenever I went to my local mall with my mother as a kid, there was this man who gave out free Pannetone and Pandona (basically without the raisins and all that) during winter and it was, and still is, my no. 1 snack (oh god I’m getting a nostalgia attack 😭)
in Perú it's called paneton and in Chile it's pan de pascua, i love how even tho we're so far from italy these breads are super special for our holidays as well
ah panettone! In Brazil we eat it every christmas, even though it's an italian bread, it became so popular here that we wait for this time of the year so eagerly!

Context:one of the chefs in some king's kitchens accidentally burnt the bread he was baking,so he added some dried fruits and some other things to make it better
Man i was wondering whether you were gonna make panettone to represent italy, the fact that you've even tried despite your lack of experience is impressive. Plus, honestly id did not look to had for a first attempt
As soon as November starts, every market here in Brazil starts selling it. Americans have pineapole on pizza discussion, here in Brazil its if panettone should have fruits or not (chocolote panettone is more popular here)
In italy that argument doesnt really exist (at least where i live) because there are way more people that dont like em
Man this always hits on Christmas
I remembered watching this getting giddyer and giddy for Christmas
We also eat panettone in Brazil at christmas time. And here we also have a truffled chocolate version of it which we call "chocotone". But it is not homemade neither is a must have in the crhristmas dinner. It's more kind of a snack and is commonly gived as a gift, mainly from companies to its employees.
same here in Argentina! but we call it pan dulce instead
I’m in the US and my dad gets one of these every year from his work too lol
I’m Italian and I would never even try to bake my own panettone. You are a hero. ❤
*proud italian noises
You should have tried pandoro
pandoro is so good literally everyone in italy loves it
Im about to start a war, but the pandoro is overrated as fuck. And im saying it as an italian.
@@cynicalipDe gustibus non disputandum est
This is also very popular here in Argentina due to our Italian roots, truly a masterpiece
its very popular in latin america
@@AP-hc6px brazilian here, can confirm
Same in Peru but ours is called panaton. I hate eating the raisins but love the little jellies.
@@abbeytheartist5427 my moms from peru and we have this every christmasssssssss
Pan dulce
Despite being Italian it must be the most consumed Christmas thing in Brazil during the period, the only thing is that the variation with Chocolate is very popular too
Italians brought panettone to South America and we went so crazy with it that we eat it with hot chocolate in summer just because it's Xmas and in winter too because it's warm and comforting xD
I dint even know it was italian
@@D4rkkay Haha, at least in Perú, 20 years ago media glorified foreign products so if something could be advertised as foreign they'd make sure everyone knew that the sweet Xmas bread baked with our adapted local recipes and ingredients was 'Il vero panettone italiano' (the real Italian panettone) xD
Now the trends changed so the ads are a mix to have an Italian originated product but with the quality of our ingredients and techniques.
@@D4rkkaysame lol
It's probably common in all South America since we also eat in Argentina 🤔
As an Italian, I remember whenever I went to my local mall with my mother as a kid, there was this man who gave out free Pannetone and Pandona (basically without the raisins and all that) during winter and it was, and still is, my no. 1 snack (oh god I’m getting a nostalgia attack 😭)
I loved this series when it first came out
in Perú it's called paneton and in Chile it's pan de pascua, i love how even tho we're so far from italy these breads are super special for our holidays as well
We eat it as well on Christmas holidays in Romania, we just call it panettone, I didn't know it was a Christmas thing in Italy as well.
in uruguay its called pan dulce!
PERU 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 💖💖💖
@@approximately42ducksthatar79 same in argentina amigo uruguayo
Yess! It's nice to see different countries share little things like this as traditions 😆♥️
It looks and tastes like a Russian Easter bread called Kulich😋
That is one of the best dishes ever
"And I did do that to flex on you" lmao I love him
The fact that he was able to rate his home made version an 8.1 is impressive. Shows that despite some failures it still really tasted good!
actually 8.9
@@SharkShow398 the homemade version was 8.1. when he bought it from a store, he made it 8.9.
We also have it in Uruguay!, my family don't celebrate Christmas but I still love it! Some people here also call it Pan dulce
UH THAT LOOKS SO GOOD?
We love panettone in Brazil! I had one yesterday actually! I like it when it's a soft and moist dough 🥹
Yep, it's like stroganoff, at this point we've basically forgot it's not a national dish lmao
Fax although it’s is somehow
I'm Venezuelan and we adopted this as a Christmas dessert as well, and it is indeed heaven.
ah panettone! In Brazil we eat it every christmas, even though it's an italian bread, it became so popular here that we wait for this time of the year so eagerly!
“And I did do that to flex on you.” 💀What?
That's why he failed.
Dude fucked up the bread, he needs every win he can right now
That was that best thing to learn about in my high school Italian 1 class
The way he said Panettone 🥲
I remember this was my abu’s favorite bread and nobody liked it except him but now it just brings good memories❤️❤️❤️ LOVE YOU ABU

Here in the north of Italy people prefer pandoro because it doesnt have the raisins and orange peel but Iblove panettone to bits its so good
My great grandmother made this for me every Christmas when we saw her
