- A 60% VA disability rating is considered to be fairly severe, and could be the first step to receiving a 100% VA rating. To increase a VA rating from 60 to 100%, Veterans can file new or increased rating claims to reach a schedular 100% or potentially qualify for Total Disability based on Individual Unemployability (TDIU) with their 60% rating if unable to maintain substantially gainful employment.

I have three bulging discs(after I got out and went to PT, they told me "it's not bulging, it's Protruding, so 50%-75% out of place"), one torn disc, borderline scoliosis, minimal sclerosis, lumbar spondylosis, lumbar radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, my left foot has been hurting like hell, because I can't trust my right leg, it gives out when I rely on it often, and when irritated it goes extremely static. I'm 22, I have 90% rating, I try to do firewood so my house is going to be warm this winter but my shed is only 1/4full and it's not even seasoned and I went to the ER while I was on terminal leave for my neck which 9months later is still severely painful unless it gets cracked at the right angle, otherwise it just gets inflamed the more I turn and look around.
Hello, great information. Can you tell me if I can link Sleep Apnea secondary to Sarcoidosis?
I am stuck at 50%, combined, and in pain daily and nightly from a degenerating disk. Have been told that is the 40% I get for that is the limit. If I were depressed I would be at 100%. How does that make any sense?
If your pain is causing you depression, you need to call your local VA hospital and tell them that you need mental services. See a therapist there and keep all your medical records and then file for whatever they diagnose you with. I have a combined rating at 60%.....my Major depressive disorder is rated at 50% and my other injuries are rated at 30% but we know how the VA calculates ratings.
If prescribed 2 migraine meds, 1 related to hypertension. Could someone potentially file secondary on rated tinnitus and rated hypertension as causes to the severe migraines? Migraines were also reflected on discharge exam of which Doc marked NCD, but at the same time did not mark Pes Planus which was on entry exam. Q claim or regular claim of secondary’s, thoughts?
Good info
I’m currently at 60% and applied for TDIU and got denied. My attorney is appealing the decision. I just don’t know why they haven’t appealed it yet? In 2 months it will be a year since I got denied. I don’t know what to do.
The NAVY REFUSED WIDOW PENSION BECAUSE MY HUSBAND DID NOT SIGN THE PROPER PAPERWORK WHEN MY HUSBAND JOINED THE NAVY HE ONLY HAD WENT TO SIX GRADE HE ENLUSTED TO TAKE CARE OF MOTHER SISTER AND BROTHERS I WAS MARRIED TO HUM FOR35 YEARS HE COULD NOT TAKE IF ANY BUSINESS AND ALWAYS DEPENDED ON ME THEN AFTER HE PASSED 06 05 2020 DID I FOUND OUT HE HADN'T SIGNED I LIVED ALL LAST WINTER WITHOUT OIL FOR HEAT AND VERY LITTLE FOOD I CAN'T GO THROUGH ANOTHER WINTER LIKE THAT IM 74 YEARS ILD SOME ONE MUST HELP ME PLEASE
Good information but, it doesn't apply to me at this time..
90-100 percent difference never makes sense. Almost $1,000 difference!
None of their ratings to dollars make any sense. For example 1000 at 50% is half of 3300 for 100%.
Not even half, its sad af
Plus I am healing my self.. I am greatful..🥰😂
If i would of known about that funny math i would not of joined back in 69
I'm rated at 60% but VA only pays me at 50%. Is there a way to increase that?
I tried to look her up on whats app, I didn't find her. Can some give her info?
If I file for a Disability increase can they lower my previous rating?
I was diagnosed with Gout while I was in the military and lately I have been on constant pain on both feet and knees. I am a truck driver and it’s affecting my life.
@@ranger0209 from what I've seen from other videos, yeah it's possible. Say you've a 70% depression rating and the C&P examiner asks you how you're doing and you say you're doing great, they could potentially say that your depression must be improving, and then lower your rating for depression as a result. // just an example.
My son is trying to go from 90% to 100%. I think some of his 0% ratings will get him there. Plus the PACT Act will get him there. P&T or TDIU maybe!!!
It takes around 50% VA math to jump from 90 to 100.
@@LawDogg01 I am at 90% rating ,but my actual rating is 88% so they rounded to 90%...I needed 70% more to get to 95% , which would be rounded up to 100%... I recently was awarded another 10% for hypertension, so still need 60%...its a long road, but the pact act and my ibs presumptive to being stationed in Bahrain should put me over the top....

@@LawDogg01 The VA treats disability ratings like a video game treats experience points for leveling up.
I'm @ 80% trying to get 100% having a heart problem now
Dale Graham in Norman OK can help you finish it off-plus he is totally free!
@@RK-jx1zm how do I get in touch with him?
If your at 60 then you need an 90 to get to 100
