This would fix a fuel gauge reading incorrectly. A very simple fix that is very simple to do. All you need is rags q tips and patience. - Zábava

Good afternoon would this cause a no start no crank and the key light to stay on? Cause my 07 g35x sedan was starting and now will not crank and has p0462 and 463 I can’t see for the life of me why it at least will not crank

I have the same problem, but my sits at full Imao. We replaced the sending unit, fuel pump and checked all the cords and nothing was chewed up. Good video though, but I found out if people still have this problem, they have to take the fuel gadge out in the instrumental and have it get fixed. I'm sending it to a company in Texas.
Hey do u send you cluster to texas from a guy of ebay?? I change fuel pump check all wires and i think my cluster its not good.. let me know when u get your cluster and let me know if the gas gauge got fix
@@nazaiturbide9351 Yeah, it was the one on eBay. They fix a lot of clusters, but it turned out to be the gauge after all. Hopefully you get yours fixed
Do you have to send your whole cluster? Or is it possible to send just the gas gauge
I tried doing this but I can’t back out two bolts out of the six attached to the fuel pump what can I try to back them out since they are stripped ?
I just cleaned my sending units . I pumped gas today and within 10 seconds gas started leaking out from the bottom of the car. Why would it be leaking ?
Hey did you end up fixing it , might be because of the o rings / gasket that is no good anymore under the black ring bracket thing

Hi I recently removed my fuel pump and now the gas gauge is stuck on empty. I tried this method and it’s still stuck on E. I have 08 g37

It’s not your fuel sending units it’s your clusters y’all

Yea most likely cuz I fixed the fuel pumps nothing happened yet so my mechanic said might be the clusters no sending right indicates cuz it might be that is broken in the inside or cables
@@purpp1228 WTF are the clusters? Our pump has (4) wires to the actual sensor.
What happens if you forget to put the cover back!!! ?
It'll read above full.or.below E.. the plastic stops the floater from going to far in either direction.
