to everyone complaining about how these products are very expensive and such - a very important aspect of minimalism that i have learned is that sometimes it is best to buy a quality item that will last a long time as opposed to a cheaper item that you may have to replace many times!!
Buying it multiple times makes you disappointed
I do agree with you’lol
Buy nice, not twice! Something I always live by. I did a ski season in Europe and invested in a pair of 120£ Hestra gloves. They lasted me the whole season and are still going strong. The people who bought cheap gloves 30-40£ bought multiple pairs throughout the season and probably ended up spending more overall.
I just want to tell u,
The beats have the least quality
Very expensive,
And cannot be used for a long time
I agree! Buy quality once, not junk two or three times. quality last.
Instead of an eye mask, pack a bandanna. I've used mine as an eye mask on the plane, a smog mask in Beijing, a neckerchief in the sun, and of course as an actual bandanna. Plus it rolls up into the size of a travel shampoo and weighs next to nothing.
I also pack a length of 3mm shock cord. I've used it for clothesline, emergency belt.
+Schrödinger's Ape great tips dude!!!
Schrödinger's Ape superb tips!
What set you claim?
Schrödinger's Ape q
Carrying 5 or so of the semi-nice but cheap ponytail rubber bands can be used for a gazillion things on their own and combined with things like the 550 cord. I've used them to adjust tent sizes, hang things, control cables and clothes and yadayada.
I bring packets of condom when i travel which i use to collect all the sands and soil from different places for my sand and soil collections.
+Aditya Udayana hahah interesting use. Ever had to explain those to a customs agent?!? 😂
lmao :D
HAHAHAHAH bangsat
Muhahaha so sad and funny :D so when you meet a girl at your travels and take her to your place, you're like wait... I just have one condom.... and start taking away all your sand and soil away... :D but putting it somewhere to keep it... memories :D
ahahahha good one bro
On the comment where you said " you can't afford to be hungover and miss a day " that happened to me during my trip to London. I had planned to go to the London Bridge but was entirely too hungover to go the next day. That same day the terrorist attack happened on the bridge. I went straight from being bummed about missing a day, to thankful I didn't go, and bummed about the attack. It was really strange honestly. Maybe it saved my life, who knows?
Wow! That’s a heavy story!
So was most of London! 🤣😂
Dave Alan it definitely saved your life!
Compartmentalizing is definitely my favorite thing when traveling. I have about 6 different fabric bags with a zipper. One for flight: USB plug, 3in1 cable for phones, eyemask, toothbrush and earplugs. The Second got camera stuff and third got chargers.
Best thing I've learned. And also those vacuum bags which you can roll out the air is amazing saver for space.
-Antti/Lanttimatkat
If they ever make a live movie of el dorado they need to cast these guys!
Hahahahah you’re not the first to say there’s a resemblance
Great info! For women, I'd like to suggest a dark, light-weight, elastic-waist maxi skirt; a long-sleeve lightweight dark sweater and a dark pashmina that doubles as a head scarf. They're ALWAYS in my day pack when I'm wearing shorts and a tank top and are handy when I want to tour a conservative church, temple or mosque. On the days I'm wearing sandals, I also throw a pair of thin black socks into my backpack.
This video was great! Love all the tips!
Fun Fact: if you take a B-Complex after a wild night of drinking, you'll wake up without a hang over the next morning BUT if you take it BEFORE you start drinking, you CANT get drunk. Good tip if you want to drink but also want to stay coherent. I have tested both of these theories myself with my sister and my mom and they really work so I also travel with some of those.
Why is everyone so hard on them? I agree that the budget is on the high end but they are sharing what works for them, take what works for you and leave the rest behind. Safe travels everyone
+Barbara Dosen amen. Thanks Barbara 🤙🏽
Yeah, no kidding. Did they say it was low budget? Good travel gear is an investment - especially for professional travel vloggers.
loooove it, great guide guys :) I'm def going to look into solid perfume!
+Amanda Round the Globe thanks Amanda! Safe travels :)
Thanks for the kit rundown, guys! I'm trying to pack as little as possible for the 2.5 weeks I'll be in Japan. You're really giving me direction as to what I should be packing. Stay groovy.
Great advice guys! I always try and pack with minimalism in mind
Great tips. All of them. I travel like 4 times per year and I thought I was good at this, but you opened my eyes to a few things I usually forget, or I just never tought of. Thanks guys!!
+Marta Martrix thanks for watching and commenting Marta! Hope you remembered to give a thumbs up and subscribe! Safe travels :)
Here goes a purely positive comment:
I admire how you just enjoy what you are doing, how you just live your days by one and also launch this very high quality content. Thumbs up for those, who are cool enough to be sponsered for travelling, use all the opportunities you get!(:

Great content! We've used a number of Bellroy products, awesome quality. Thanks for sharing your tips!
Great video guys! I'm happy to see that I have almost the same essentials! My tip to never forget anything as an almost full time traveler is to have a basic packing list on my phone, this way I only have to add things that are specific to the destination I'm headed to, and it's much faster to pack!
bonjour i found nour!
Hahaha I move so much you can never find me 😈
ORNITHORYNQUE
+Finding Nour Smart idea!

This is literally my dream. Making travel vids for a living, going to by my first dslr pretty soon.
+feltq720 nice!!! What type of DSLR are you thinking about buying??
I´m bying the Nikon D7100 and my first trip using it will be Machu Pichu!
This is such a great video! I just started my channel and I'm stoked on this.
+Chelsea Vicari cheers Chelsea!! Good luck :)🍀
I'm traveling the Pacific Northwest right now and I've packed almost exactly like you would. Except more warm things - I like to be able to mix and match fleece, rain jacket, light cardigan and parka depending on whether it's rainy, ice stormy, snowstormy, or just plain chilly, all of which I've experienced in the past three weeks. The parka is always on during travel so it never takes up bag space. 👌
+Liat Noten sounds fun though! Gotta love the PNW :)
vagabrothers totally fun! We got to see Multnomah Falls when it was mostly frozen! Really enjoying Vancouver too. 👌
Thanks for letting me know about this!It works!
This guide is awesome! Thanks guys

Perfect and so well articulated .. no nonsense .. keep it going guys 👍
Im watching this and preparing for my backpack trip THANKS GUYS !
noice colour grading on this one, lads.
Looking forward to the travel style video!
+curiouscookie glad you enjoyed it! Playing around with some different styles and grades :) stay tuned!!
Great stuff. I seriously need to upgrade my traveling gadgets, you've got some good ones. I have that exact same universal power adapter though. Same journal too. Curious to see where you guys will be going in the coming year.
+Gabriel Traveler Next up, South Korea!
Sweet! Looking forward to seeing those. It's been recommended to me by various people.
Careful! You said "power converter" in the video. This isn't one. This is a power outlet adapter. Converts the pins to your liking, but NOT the voltage nor the frequency. For most electronic device, this will be enough as your iPhone charger (for example) accepts both 110 and 220 V. All you need is a power outlet adapter. BUT if your device (or its charger) supports only 110 V, do not plug it on 220, and vice versa.
Thanks so much guys!! Very helpful, currently planning for my 2 month vacation to Serbia, Greece, Austria :D
You make me wanna travel like..right now! Can't wait for my next trip, glad to have all these tips from you guys! Great video, as always! Lots of love!

The part where you said do not travel with hashish was so funny!

great tips! u should do a video on moving abroad, shipping your stuff and moving with your pet etc. i am moving abroad. i am shipping my car and my stuff via freight. im using a company to take care of flying my cats over to me😊
L 444 we kinda go over that stuff in our vlog. We were living in Maui before we left on our Overlanding The Pan American Highway adventure.
Thank you! Good tips. 👍🏼
Great tip we use a lot of these ideas for our trips!
A crushable fedora?! This is the greatest invention ever! I usually just wear my hat on the plane.
+crazybetty00 indeed it is! What type of hat you rocking crazybetty??
Searched for some minimalist travel packing tips found some hot guys. Nice!
+Annelie Peter haha 👋🏼👋🏼
I’m watching all your videos on tips what and how to pack and what type of traveling backpack to buy. I’ll be traveling to Mexico and Central America later this summer. Thank you both for all the tips, and where to buy many of these products.
Loved it! will make a check list of that!
1:30 they just throw some word in my language like this lol, i didnt expect that !!
baksheesh: giving someone money to make them "happily" do something for you.
hashish: weed.
2 Thums up for Bakhsheesh ~ From India
+Antonio hahaa 🙌🏼 India is on our list! Hopefully going this fall. Any tips for us??

13 mins of product placement ...guys I love your channel, so won't hate on you for doing this ...But maybe a little bit more subtlety next time :)
They've got to make money somehow haha
Why subtlety? This is their job, and if they're using these things, then I want to know the exact things their using so I can check it out too. I like that they're upfront about it.
yeah, this is their job. But the video is useless, if you actually are looking for ¨Minimalist DIY Travel ESSENTIALS¨
I Agree. Am constantly surprised by the amount of underwear etc. women pack & think they are minimalists. I'm trying to encourage women to carry less & still look stylish in my packing vids, lol. Ciao
TRAVEL LOVERS start packing your bagages. I am a nice guy and I have a small HACK GIFT for all you guys :) Check this great guide on how to Book $1,000 Flights for $20 bit.ly/2gTCg2u
Anyone know where I can get a power converter like that one 2:34 ?
+Vanessa Martinez should be able to get one on amazon :)
LOL the burrito! awesome! we agree on a lot of your packing tips, we do most of it already! i can't wait to see your travel styles! since we are carry-on travelers, we eliminate a lot of the unnecessary items...which is a lot once you learn to travel LIGHT! hydroflask is our go-to bottles to keep your beverages nice and cold :)
Absolutely Love the videos from vagabrothers
+Xiangdan Han 🙏🏼🙏🏼
when i travel i take a big bag extra in case my luggage be overweight^^
everyone is complaining about how this is not even close to minimalist, however I'm watching this and thinking "HOW DO THEY ONLY BRING 3 PAIRS OF UNDERWEAR??!?!" in literally in awe about how these guys pack so little for such a large trip....omfg 😂😂
+Hailey Lindell 😂
Hi, I think 3 pairs of underwear 's too much. If you use Exofficio (their claim 2 pair are enough is true). I'm surprised by the amount of gear people pack & think they are minimalists. I 'm trying to encourage women to carry less & still be comfortable look stylish in my packing vids, lol. Ciao
love you guys!
I like this video so much! I would really like to see a version for women by someone to get inspired by for my next trip!
hi, where's the video of fitting it all on the carry on bag?
+dapuy12 coming soon! Many more packing videos on the way! Hope you subscribe and stay tuned :)
"Even when you're in a relationship bring these for someone else....." ........ Bros, are you trying to get me killed? o_0
When u r not in relationship 😂not in relationship
You guys were super informative and you made your video very fun I loved it please keep making videos
Omg I had that burrito during my freshman year and used it as a pencil case everyone at school loved it
I love traveling light so I usually pack as little as I can in a small backpack. But sometimes they stop me at the airport and once I was almost denied entry into Canada when taking a bus from Seattle. They said I was suspicious because I didn't have a lot of luggage. WTF! Why would I want to lug around so much shit. I really get annoyed when I get stopped. Anyone else experience this??
Oh my God SHOES 😂
LOVE your wall colour!
this is great thanks guys!
Google translate on your phone can be useful to
I always need my phone 📱 and laptop 💻
+milatinaamor817 amen :)
First video i see that adds vitamins, such a essential!! Awesome video!! I watch you from Argentina, love you!!
+julieta ferreyra Where in Argentina? We want to come back and explore more!
"Ohmy god shoes" Am I the only one that got the reference?
👀👌Esential Great tips my Bros✌👉💖😘
+Ninfa V. Thank you!! Any tips to add??
Things i learned from my travels : carry a strong lock for the hostels, a bit of tiger balm for weird odors in planes/trains/hostels and relieving headaches, carry your toileteries in a clear ziplock bag so you can go through TSA without digging through your bag and having everyone hating you, carry more ziplock bags in case something spill/you need to separate laundry or a wet swim suit/bring back rocks or sand ! Also those moleskin tapes will save your feet when you do a lot of walking
great list, the swim shorts / work out shorts is a great tip (I travel a-lot for work and use this one myself)
Absolute essential a Tablet to watch Netflix!!?
Thumbs up for "OMG. Shoes." Lets get some shoes!
+Blythe Vrindavana hahaha we old school like that ;)
Very useful! Thank you !
Excellent tips guys! I need an adaptor like that and a rain jacket. I bring always some warm clothes, even if it's summer time cause climate changes a lot in several places.
More hand gestures please.
+Seth Adam ✌🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼👋🏼👍🏽🤓😂
"Passport organiser" (in other words, girl's purse, lmao) 😂😂😂, JK!!!
Totally agree Lea. This adds extra weight. Product endorsement??? Best use an inexpensive lightweight RFID blocking passport sleeve. I 'm surprised by the amount of gear people pack & think they are minimalists. Heavy noise-cancelling headphones, lol. Also makes them prime target for thieves!!! I'm trying to encourage people to carry less & still be safe, comfortable & look stylish in my packing vids. Ciao
Lea Gill but then you have to take it out EVERY time you go through immigration, best just get a sleeve
Also, if you can afford them and you don't need toooo many memory cards will save space and weight compared to external hard drives. I normally have a 4TB external on me but over time have been slowly adjust things over (and keep backups in a couple externals at friends' places and backups online... I don't have a set place at all, so). And love the mention of Ex-Officio undies!!
This video is so fun as it is interactive and that's just flipping awesome!
+Geeky Veggie 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
IM a NEW SUBBIE I am in LOVIE
+Cilla Latte awww we love you too Cilla!!!
