WHICH ARRONDISSEMENT IS YOUR FAVORITE? WHY?
vagabrothers the 10th! Love how it’s less touristy and the canal saint-martin!
Probably the 14th arrondissement. Studied abroad in Paris for a time and got housed there! Very relaxed environment. Lots of great restaurants here as well.
Not relevant to the arrondissement but, Pro-tip: On the day of Bastille Day the Louvre is free! I was in Paris back in the summer of 2016 for Bastille Day and a friend and I wanted to go and didn't have to pay. Perfect because there was hardly any people inside the Louvre, get to take all the pictures you want and then party in all throughout the afternoon and night watching the fireworks under the Eiffel Tower.
I love the 20 arrondissement et le cimetière Lachaise, Le Marais and Montmartre
I like the 5th arrondissement. I saw where Ernest Hemingway lived and the restuarant I went to was named after famous writers!
Same hard to say which one because many arrondissements I could visit again, but especially I remember the cruises on Seine :) I loved Seine and surroundings so walking or cruise -cool ! Besides I loved walking through Champs-Elysees!
For the ladies traveling alone, that may be a bit afraid or apprehensive of going by yourself, please don't be! As long as you're aware of your surroundings and keeping an eye on your stuff, you'll be totally fine. It is true that there will be guys trying to talk to you, but the best thing to do is to ignore it and keep walking, they'll leave you alone. I really don't think there was a moment I felt unsafe there and I'm so glad I went! Can't wait to go back!
The riskiest place seemed to be standing near the door of the metro with a phone in hand. Saw one get snatched from a local.
czcams.com/video/vYqdCbR2Xzw/video.html u will luv song
Yes, white woman, go to Paris unsupervised! There is nothing to worry about, everything is safe.

Paris is the city that I get the most nostalgic over. I can't even explain what it is. I can't wait to go back.
We found the people in Paris very nice! I tried my best at french, of course Canadian French from high school. They appreciated me trying and switched to english. In fact we got really lost on the subway. Some local guy amazing noticed we looked lost and helped us. He even walked us to out platform. We had a great experience with the polite helpful locals of Paris.
I’m from Peru and I had a beautiful experience in Paris last year. All the French people (some were Parisians) I talked to were very polite and answered all my questions about the city.
I have rented an apartment in the 7th arrondissmont for the month of May. I have visited Paris 8 or so times before, but for only 3 to 5 days, so always feel a bit rushed. I can't wait to leisurely stroll the city and you have now made it part of my goal to see all 20 arrondissements!
Everytime I watch one of your videos I always end up having this huge desire to drop everything and get on an airplane!! Great info, great video quality and artistry, and great people. What more could you ever want?
I thought that i was i was the only that felt that way sms. Indeed greet info and great video
😀👍👍
I'm from Costa Rica and I love when I find videos of people talking wonders about this country. It really fill us with joy knowing somebody enjoys it so much visiting this places.
Thank you very much for this amazing video.
Go past the touristy areas of Montmartre, past the Place du Tertre, and walk downhill to explore the northern slope. It's really off the beaten path, and is a genuine Paris experience.
This is a very charming city, I hope I can visit again sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job!
The parks! The parks! So many parks to explore.
Oh, I totally forgot about Jim's place. I had dinner there back in 1997 the first time I lived in Paris.
Brought back memories... Thanks for the video!
Brings back memories. I only got to visit Paris back in 1996 and had a great time. I knew some French basics to use when I went to a restaurant or store. The only ride person I met was a fellow American. I'm hoping to go back again within the next few years.
I love you're ideas. A bit late for me but a hidden gem I used was the secret entrance to the Louve and the Cuban vendors help in getting the perfect photo spot for a tip. Keep up the travel videos guys, I love to hear youre ideas for my trips!!
Merci what a great video! I stayed in the 15th and the inexpensive bus trips in and out were an adventure In themselves. School kids grandparents ,office workers of all different cultures sharing the rides. I had a baguette underneath the willow in the middle of the Seine. What memories
Perfect timing! Currently planning a trip to Paris and Barcelona in 2020!
I've been to Paris either nine or ten times. My favorite district is the eighth. I love the Champs Elysees and it's where my favorite hotel, Hotel California, is located on Rue du Beri. It's also very close to the ninth district and the big department stores.
Great insight gentlemen. I have to say that my favorite videos on your channel are when you two are together.
What a coïncidence😁 i’m going there next weekend. Thanks for the tips!🙏🏻
Another good video. Respect from Jamaica 🇯🇲
What's up fellas..Happy holidays ..Thank you for the post card so awesome.. My wife and I have been to Paris a few years back had a romantic fantastic time ...You guys just brought back great memories..
Happy 2020..
Before my first visit, I read about the history of France. Granted it was the abbreviated Wiki version, but it really helped me appreciate what I was seeing. Especially fascinating is the history of Baron Haussmann. You'll never look at a mansard roof the same way! lol
Yeah guys! Good to see your Paris video out! Hope to cross paths again next summer!
Got a couple of great tips from you guys, literally unseen in any other vlog. Thanks a lot. Terrific presentation too ! -Rick & Morgan
Going to Paris in two weeks. This was perfect!
Thinking of getting the train to Paris in a few weeks so good timing on this one for me !
I can’t wait to see this city closer next year ❤️
Great overview of Paris; solid tips for the first time visitor. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
absinthe frappe sounds like a fun one!
loving all of the pro tips & non-typical recommendations!
Great video! Paris is one of those places that warrants multiple visits over a lifetime. It’s a delicacy. The most fun is navigating the streets & experiencing neighborhoods.
It really is quite the experience. Which arrondissement is your favorite?
@@vagabrothers It changes during each visit, due to what I encounter.
What to wear in Paris to blend in: a frown.

Vish just a serious, I’m thinking deep thoughts face. Most big cities are like that. It’s a sensory overload.

DEFINITELY
Paris v. Rome is up for debate imo
Nice video ! I’m French and I live in Paris, it’s so funny and exotic to see Paris through the eyes of a tourist 🙂
I just came back from Paris and after watching this video makes me want to go back soon. I will surely visit the places mentioned on this video. Thanks for sharing👍🙏
loved the video, discovered some new places i would like to visit next time. Great tips as usual!
Is else is going to France in 2021?🇫🇷
Not this year but next year for sure!
Me!
Yes 🙋🏻♂️
Am I allowed???
oui, i will stay in the Marais
Great video guys, super helpful tips! My favourite has to be Montmartre and the adjacent African quarter where I stayed last year. Near there is a great bistro called 'La Recyclerie' which I totally recommend: its got its own urban veg garden and has a big focus on reducing food waste and encouraging greener dining, all in a beautiful building made from recycled material!
Great content, carry on!
ah wish i would have watched this video before my trip to Paris! would have been so helpful. but this is amazing, thank you for this!
Great video! 🤟🏽 Wish I had these tips when I was there last month, lol
Beautifully done, Gents! Happy 2020!
Great cinematography. Nice pace you went to. The medieval part.. The safe was cool historical and decor.the wine tasting place is fun
Thnks for the holiday card! Also thanks for the travel inspiration!!
The Latin Quarter ❤️ Also Notre Dame at night!
Great job for off the beating path ideas! I know what to do on my return trip. ❤️
Beautiful Video and great locations ! Thank you for sharing ! Keep your wonderful job going !
good vid.. thx for the effort to take the viewer along for the splendid experiences!! all the best..
I'm currently in Paris for the Christmas holiday season and is having an AMAZING time. Yes the strike has put a damper on travel and visiting certain sites as they are closed or close earlier.
As for speaking a little French.. believe it helps and works. French are proud people. Even when I tell them in French I only speak English..lol.. it's met with humor.
Loving Paris, love your vlogs as usual and my travel adventure..
You guys have fantastic cinematography! I find myself coming back to your videos whenever I need to get inspired😂
Thanks! I loved hearing about what locals think as rude - such as not greeting the shop owner when you enter a store.
You guys are one the best traveling channel, cheers!
Agreed!!!!!
U guys always do a great job in making want to drop everything and head out on a vacation
Perfect timing, I live in Paris for over 5 years and I know it so well but tomorrow my sister is coming for the first time and I was struggling with an itinerary, as I want her to see as much as possible in just one week so I'll definitely use some of your advices 🙌😃
Awesome! We hope you have fun with you sister!
I just booked my first trip to Paris for February. Staying in the Marais ❤️ Love this video. I can’t wait to make some videos for my travel channel 🇫🇷
I am in the Marais now, near famous falafal-land! It is completely amazing and everywhere I go is a new beautiful adventure. You will love it, assuredly!
Are u still alive did they get u yet!?

I hope one day to visit Paris. 😍 Thanks for making this video. It was very informative!
Going to Paris in 2020 so this was perfect timing so helpful!!! Happy New Years guys!
Much needed tips, thanks a lot! 👌👌
I’m lucky enough to have family near Paris, so I’ve gotten to visit a few times in my adult life! A lot of the vagabrothers’s tips make sense!
- 100% agree with visiting Paris in the fall, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Luckily for us, last year it was still 80° in mid October.
- Parisians and French people do appreciate it when you begin the convo in French and ask if they speak English.
Your vlogs are always so well-shot👍
Paris. Poets, musicians, playwrights, authors, journalists, and others have all shown their love for this city through their writing. It is a location that oozes sophistication, style, class, and culture. I fell in love with this city the first time I went there, just like countless others have before me.
WATCHING THIS VIDEO MAKING ME WANTING TO VISIT THE BEAUTIFUL CITY OF PARIS!

I wish i could go to Paris one day. I love all your travel videos.I believe that the world is for the brave one. I remember the time I was afraid of flying when i was in my 20's until such time ive realized that what makes scares me are the most exciting one.
Now, i enjoy traveling most of my life and indulge my self in nature..🌴🏝🌳
Good luck to your the next adventure!
love the history of the city, I was there in 2002. I loved it, did los of what you guys did.👍
I'm French and I have to rectify something about the 15th point: Indeed, parisians are rude (actually all the rest of France hate them), but in "province", which means the rest of France, people are adorable and polite.
I didn't find that Parisians are rude but I did use my rudimentary French at every opportunity. They didn't laugh. The longer I stayed the better my French became. I also visited Aix-en-Provence and found very much the same sort of people. One thing that I noticed that a smile and a Bonjour went a huge way for every occasion.
I noted that Parisians do not admire loud arrogant, dare I say it, Americans. Most Americans are lovely but there are always some who resent that they can't simply speak American English and find themselves understood. And so they shout and complain to one another. Witnessed that quite a lot in Paris. Hey, no one likes that sort of person so it's not so exceptional.
I love Paris. I totally love Paris. But I'm from Montréal so there you go. :)
Great tips in the video! Thanks VBs!
@@KatherineMann I must have gotten lucky because I only remember one rude person, not even rude, just grumpy...a bartender who wanted 3 euros to use his restroom, lol. My French is almost non-existent, too...and shop owners were so friendly. I walked into a book shop with a can of sardines I had just bought, and the owner was joking about trading the sardines for a book. Some other little restaurants, the owner remembered us, and welcomed us back. Yes, they make money from tourist like me so maybe they realize they can catch more flies with sugar, haha. I love Paris.

i am not!!!
When I went the parisians were lovely and helpful.
Great video guide, gentlemen!
One of my favorite things for inexpensive food is to do takeaway from Lebanese deli/shops for dinner especially if I’ve spent my day having a nice lunch and a couple stops for coffee (sometimes with dessert!). My favorite spot for afternoon coffee is Place de la Contrescarpe, the atmosphere is very local, very quiet.
Brioche suisse Is what I crave daily from Boulangerie Murciano on rue des Rosiers 😍
Paris is one of my dream cities. Nice video , merci.
Where was this video two months ago when I was there? Lol
Totally agree with those tips, specially the citymapper one (truly a life saver!) and buying 10 metro tickets at once (obviously think of how long your stay is and if you're really going to need all of them before you buy).
Paris is include itself inside historical and modern view. It is amazing. Cloudy weather is cool for Paris. Old cafes and restaurants are interesting for tourists and guests.
Looking forward to my next visit to Paris this year i will definitely bear all of your advises in mind.👍👍👍👍👍
Going to London and Paris in January can’t wait!!
How was it
Thanks for your beautiful visit of Paris 🇫🇷
Thanks for the Tips! You Guys are an inspiration. I have also started to make my travel videos. :) Cheers
I went during October it was perfect. Because you walk so much the brisk air was perfection. And it only rained for about 10 minutes on one day I was there.
