- Paris is easily one of the most enchanting and exciting cities to visit. The city of lights has so much to offer with world class museums, beautiful architecture and cityscapes, famous monuments, delicious food, endless neighborhoods to get lost within and so much more. It's the kind of city that you could visit over and over and find something new to do and yet still feel like you have barely scratched the surface of what Paris is all about.
In this video we share how we spent 4 days in Paris with a full itinerary including the order we visited certain sites and prices for everything we saw and ate. Paris has so many worthwhile activities, sites and foods to try so it is impossible to capture everything in one trip (or even one lifetime) but we hope this video guide give you a good starting point to help you plan for your upcoming trip!

Lovers in Paris. Romantic place indeed.
Absolutely!
Nice travelogue. Probably my favourite city. Doesn’t matter what you say or do some critic will find fault with it. Well done.
Great video man,
Here is another MAJOR tip for the tourists who ask when coming to Paris.
Don't Come in summer ! It's packed and expensive.
Come in February/ March or April.
Most importantly you won't have to queue to long for the Eiffel tower or the Louvre.
A Walker from Paris
Yes it was really busy in July! I've had the chance to visit once in October and that was a nice time to visit as well.
What about last week of November?
I plan to come for the Olympics. I know that’s going to be crazy packed
I’ll be there in September just after the Games. I hope it settles down by then:)

I just came back after wandering the streets of Paris. We basically did the same sites seeing. I stayed at Le Marais and also enjoyed Asian cuisine.
I recommend Sainte-Chapelle, Maison of Victor Hugo, Rodin Museum, Shakespeare & Co., Galleria Lafayette.

Ive been to Paris several times and i just wanted to add that Paris is also calles the City of lights.... It also is worth to explore at night
Absolutely!
I’ve seen so many vlogs on Paris but this one feels so organized. Did you have enough tome to relax with your itinerary? I might use this as a template! Thanks for posting.
Thank you very much. When it comes to travelling style we are usually pretty eager to go out and see a lot so if your style is to go a bit slower and take it easy there are definetly things you can cut from the itenerary. We do take breaks to sit at a park and we find walking around and exploring relaxing in general. We also do not stay up very late so we are always able to get a good nights sleep everyday which helps.
i wanna go to paris 😭❤️❤️❤️
Hopefully you get to go someday!\
I love how thorough this is! Thank you for sharing your trip :) I’m heading there for the first time next month!
Thank you and glad you liked the video. Enjoy your trip!
Great information. Tnx. I assume you travel around the city with metro?! Nice content,am visiting im 2 weeks. Well noted all the info giving.
Thank you for watching. Yes we used Metro to go everywhere and we also walked alot. Have a great trip to Paris!
I just got back from Paris and when you talked about the long lines a the Eifle Tower, I agree. One thing you can do, if you know when you'll be there, is to book your ticket in advance. There's sill a wait to be let up as well as a security checkpoint but it makes it easier if you already have your ticket. However, you'll be tied to a specific day and time.
I hope that helps someone!! :) Glad you had a great time.
Thanks for the tips. very helpful!
Well done! This is my fave video on Paris! I was there a few times and fell in love with the city, culture and French people just like you two did. Thank you!
So what month and year were you there?
Thank you very much! this video was taken during our trip in July 2022
@@DomanationTravels weather looked perfect, thanks!
Very nice video and your itinerary I copied into my travel plan for reference. 🙂 I know many of us cannot afford to travel as often as some CZcams vloggers, but if you ever get the time to travel and capture more, your channel will thrive. Great job!
Thank you so much and I hope you have a great time whenever you do get the chance to go. Thank you for the very kind words, I wish we could post more videos. There were a couple other cities we recently visited but we are not very fast at editing videos! hopefully in the not too distant future.
What a great realistic tour of Paris. We will probably never get to visit it, so seeing your lovely 4 days there was a treat! I longed for less distracting background music, which was competing with your speaking.
Thank you very much for the feedback and glad to hear your enjoyed the video.
Best wishes from Los Angeles! Thanks a lot for the video)) I'm a blind artist and I can't watch, but I like to listen to you!

Picnics in Paris! ❤
The picnics might just be our favorite part of the trip!
Hi just stumbled upon your loved video now. My grandson & i are headed to Europe this September (2023) ... cant wait. We also want to go to Disneyland Paris. But a good, safe, family friendly conveniently located hotel recommendation would be much appreciated. Have already subscribed to your great channel.
Thank you for watching our video and we hope you have a lovely time in Paris. This past trip we stayed at the Chouette Hotel we liked the hotel a lot but it is not centrally located. It was close to the convention center where I had some work to attend to during this trip. Hotels closer to the center (5th, 6th, 2nd Arrondisment) will be more convenient and as these locations are near tourist centers they should be fine safety wise, but these areas will of course be a little more busy.
Charming video (and folks).
But apart from the restaurants, it's exactly the same video as The Frenchies' one. Same spots visited.
Next time, go out of Paris and try to visit the Château de Versailles and its gorgeous Gardens.
May is the best moment to spend a delicious afternoon at Giverny : the nymphéas (water lilies) of Claude Monet's House and gardens will be in bloom.
Beautiful. I’m sad however because I require a motorized wheel chair to get around. I guess this would be a barrier for me. ☹️
Thank you for watching and your comment. Unfortunately Paris has a lot of work to do when it comes to improving accessibility in the city. For example A lot of subway stations may not have an accessible option. But there are some spots that I think might be okay but I think it will require some research if you decide to go. I do hope that you are able to visit some day!
This was cool! I’m going in December, nervous as I’m by myself…is navigating the city easy?
Navigating the city is overall pretty easy. It's pretty walkable, the metro will take you almost everywhere and there are enough signs and information to help when needed. Good luck and enjoy!
Hi I am french and I love to come to Paris for a few days, your rendition is very accurate, you did very well in so few days. Paris is wonderful to simply have a walk and it does not cost a dime. We are happy to welcome the world to this beautiful city;
Thank you so much!!
This is a good travel guide I will definitely take note of this. It is in my bucket list to visit the Galerie Vivienne. I wonder, how come you did not include the room of Maria Antoinette?
Thank you very much. Is the room of Maria Antoinette at Versailles? It was a tough decision to leave out Versailles this time but hopefully next time it can work out
Amazing video!
Weather looked on your side! What month did you visit guys?
Thank you very much. We visited in July.
Great video. Can i ask what camera and lenses were used to film? Thanks
Thank you very much. I used a Panasonic G85 with the kit lens and for some shots a 25mm 1.7 lens.
❤❤
Great video, certainly seeing a lot each day. Where did you stay?
This trip I was working near the convention center on the outside of the city so our hotel was there which was average convenience wise. Not close to anything but at least on a metro line. In previous visits we stayed near Montmartre which was great.
@DomanationTravels cheers, thanks for that.
Your silky smooth tone and the jazzy music made me think this was going to be a parody :D
Thanks for watching, it's true that jazz music is not too common for travel videos but for some reason we like it.
thank you for your sharing, i will go paris in August, do you have any hotels to recommend if stay 5 days , thank you😊
Have fun on your trip to Paris. On this trip we stayed in the Chouette Hôtel which is a bit on the outside of the city. Great hotel but because we had some work near the convention center this is why we choose the location. If you want maximum convenience you can consider something around the 5th or 6th arrondissement. We stayed near Montemarte last time we visited and that was nice too but I forget the name of that hotel.
Thanks, very informative and well presented. I like how you put costs for each item. Also, I appreciated your pace, I got the sense you were taking your time and enjoying the sites and experiences. It’s a beautifully visual primer for our upcoming trip to Paris, thanks again for sharing it!
Thank you very much and I hope you enjoy your trip!
Great video. Was this filmed recently? Is it that warm in Paris now? Also, where did you get utensils and a blanket for picknick?
Hi thank you for the feedback and questions. This was filmed last summer and we just took a long time to make the video. We saved the utensils from when we bought grab and go food on a different day and for the blanket we always pack a compact microfiber beach towel that we can use for picnics.
Great and helpful vid! Gotta ask, how much weight did you guys put on?!
Thank you so much and great question. We didn't weigh ourselves but I'm sure we did gain at least a little. Atleast all the walking a*round helped.
Wonderful video!! Could you share which area you stayed in? Did you use public transportation? Thank you
Thanks for the questions. Yes we used public transportation for everything as well as walking of course. We stayed in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens
well done it definitely is a beautiful city. Unfortunately waas only able to spend a day there, going up to the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower.Stayed in inHotel Mercure that had agreat view from my room
Thank you for the comment, I hope you enjoyed your 1 day and will have a chance to go back

So, this was April 2023? Looked like surprisingly nice weather for April. Good to know.
Actually all the footage was taken during our trip from July 2022 but it took a while to get around to putting things together for the video so I don't think the weather will be this nice during April, but it can also get pretty hot in July so Spring might not be a bad idea either.

We plan on flying to Frankfurt for Christmas and spending time with family. a few of those days we're going to Paris by train, or a short flight. Two questions: Would you recommend the ICE train from Frankfurt to Paris, or the many short flights available? Also something very important: What is the public bathroom situation in Paris? Hopefully better than NYC! Thanks for the video.
Hi thanks for the questions. I've never travelled directly between Frankfurt and Paris before but I usually personally prefer taking the train over a plane. I don't really enjoy either airport (travelling to the airport, the various lineups and checks) but I do like that I can just get on a train right before it arrives relax or do work on the entire ride. I see that the train ride from Frankfurt to Paris is just under 4 hours long so I can see why some might prefer a plane for this distance. As for the public bathrooms, the situation is not great. We just made sure to used\ the bathroom at every restaurant, museum/tourist site we could. Department stores also usually have bathrooms. Hope this helps and have a great trip!
@@DomanationTravels very interesting and informative, thanks! I just don’t understand why these destinations where they know are being visited by millions of tourists don’t care about having public bathrooms.
👍👍👍
Thank you very much!
As a french and ex Parisian I totally agree with this list ❤
Some tips I would say is
- accept the fact you can’t see everything and prioritise your bucket list
- bicycle is he best way to discover the city and feel the atmosphere (it’s as fast as the metro and not underground so you don’t miss the vistas)
- don’t hesitate to visit other french cities if you have the opportunity, france is not Paris and there are absolutely gorgeous other french cities
Take care
Thank you very much for the excellent suggestions. It's true that its impossible to see everything and that you need to choose things that you know you are interested in. By the way which other French cities do you recommend visiting?
@@DomanationTravels i would definitely recommend to visit Annecy, Toulouse, Albi, the French Riviera, Montpellier, Nice, Boulogne sur mer, and so many villages I can’t name them all… 😃
I have another small pro-tips if you want for Paris: you can charge your phone, in most bus stop there is a USB plug :)
The video will be better with lower background music, to enable more focused listening to the narrative.
Thanks for the feedback
My dream land
Absolutely!
Did you use Premiere Pro to edit your videos?
Thanks for watching. I used the free version of Davinci Resolve for editing as this was able to do everything I needed.
what is the transportation around town in Paris ? thanks. We will go to Paris in Sep could you please give us advise where to stay and go ? Thanks again
Hi, thanks for the question. For transportation we used the metro for everything. As for where to stay, because Paris has a very extensive metro system you can stay in many parts of the city. If your budget allows it you could stay closer to the main sites to save time. I've stayed in Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Montmartre and both we good areas to stay. I've also stayed near Paris Expo Porte de Versailles for work once. It was a little further away from things but still on a metro line. I hope all this helps.
@@DomanationTravels Thanks so much for info. we also like to take the train from Paris to another country too. Do you have any suggestion ?
