Great bike and suspension. Add a couple tokens to the front fork and change out the volume spacer in the shock and the suspension really comes alive.
Great bike! Almost bought one recently. It definitely always catches my eye! Can’t beat the value with the spec! Vitus comes a close second.
Vitus is sick to, especially at their price point for carbon bikes!
I’ve been watching polygon bikes for a few years now, neat to see them making a name for themselves as an affordable and capable bike. That’s cool you get to play with one for a while!
I’m just bummed that don’t make an aggressive hardtail haha, but I’m hoping to pitch a video idea where they send me their aluminum XC hardtail and give me some money for upgrades to turn it into a more capable trail bike
@@ridingwithjoshandwendy yeah man that would he cool for sure! I think you should be pitching them for an aggressive hardtail for sure tho too! I feel like that should be mandatory for bike companies 😜
@@ridingwithjoshandwendy speaking of… he’s sort of the year yesterday at Galbraith. It was like 70deg and sunny, trails were perfect, got to session a few sweet features, had a great run on the aggressive ht, then wen to Transition afterwards for awesome beer and lunch from the food truck. ‘Tis the season!!
*best sort of the year is what I meant to say 😂
Hell ya man, sounds like a good start to the season! Phil’s is opening up nicely now too! And this is very much under the table, but I’ve heard the may have one in the works… now I’m just trying to convince them to let me do some prototype testing and maybe help influence the geo numbers a bit, but I’m probably getting ahead of myself lol 😂
Well keep looking at these and keep looking at the D6 for a general cross country riding
That’s a great bike too!!
Great review guys ✌🏻
Thank you 🤙🤙
Awesome cool bike build ❤
Thanks you!!
so cool it comes with a torque wrench and other tools!
Ya, super rad!!
Nice review
Thank you!!
I'm looking at picking up the medium but can't decide on 27+ or 29er... any thoughts or suggestions 🤔
I’ve really been enjoying the 27.5! I’ve only had 29ers before so it’s been a fun change! A lot more agile, great cornering, but maybe a little slower on the uphill. I’ve dropped it off some gnarly stuff and it’s done great!
As you work your way to the top of the MTB industry, don’t forget to ride with the normal people.
Always!! If you’re ever in Oregon hit us up, we’d love to go for a ride!!
@@ridingwithjoshandwendy I will be riding and working the AMC at the end of September. I may try to get up there before that if the snow breaks. If you haven’t ridden there, it’s a must do.
We’ll be there!! Do you have an Instagram? That’s probably the easiest way to stay in touch, our username is the same as on CZcams
@@ridingwithjoshandwendy I used to, but unfortunately it was a bad experience at the time. I pretty much don’t use it anymore, except for occasionally on here. I will let you know on one of your post if it happens earlier than September 27- October 1.
How will this bike perform with a bigger rider in weight? 5’11 280?
Should be great! The larger sizes have a 29” wheel front and back, and the air suspension is super tunable so you can get it dialed in regardless of riding style/weight/etc.
That's me, 6'1" and 275 lbs., no problem but change out the volume spacer in the shock and add a couple of tokens to the fork and it's a new ball game. I went with 2 tokens up front (green) and the red volume spacer in the shock.
clean looking bike. I've always eyeballed these bikes but never really got any reasons to pick one up.
They’re pretty rad bikes, especially for the value! It’s bummer they’re kinda hard to get your hands on here in the States, but Bikes Online is definitely making that easier!
I don't know about the "light" part 😂 my old Trek Fuel Ex6 26er weighs 29 pounds, my new Sisku T8 27.5 is 35 pounds....
Ya, modern bikes are definitely a lot heavier! My dad still has his early 2000s hardtail that’s just over 22 lbs! But I’ll trade weight for strength and performance any day!
How tall are you? How would you describe the fit?
I’m 5’5” and am right on the line between a small and a medium. I chose a small because I like the way smaller bikes handle on jumps and technical trails, but a medium would still work just fine!
@@ridingwithjoshandwendy Super helpful thanks 🤙🏼
Polygon made in Indonesia
siskiu really making bikes the same price as Fox forks lol
Haha seriously!! And unlike a lot of bikes at this price (Giant Stance, Vitus Myrhique, etc.) it actually looks good!
Broo that’s because Polygon isn’t trying to drain your pockets! Plus it still comes with Fox Suspension! It’s called a Win Win
Dude you yell too much! Annoying. Just let the girl speak.
