    Bought a t7 on a Thursday at noon and received it Friday at 11am, less than 24 hours and it was at my door. Was able to ride it on the weekend and it’s great👍🏽

    The anti squat with the bike is perfect with the unibody pivot. At least from my experience! Nice video! I love the T series bikes!

    Really appreciate your videos.- learning a lot about Polygon and more! I'm still stuck in a debate with myself between 4 bikes d7, t7, t8, and now t6. d7 might work to start, but I feel like I will quickly want to improve on it. t8 is really nice - and a contender, but t7 could save me a few $ and work well for me if I can shave a little weight (think tubeless!). Finally they now have t6's back in stock - interesting compromise - but can I live with 1-10x? Not sure! I live in FL - I don't do rock gardens but the terrain can get a little rough in spots where I ride, and it's pretty flat - so I only need to deal short climbs. Finally I am not a speedy descender either.. At least not yet. Any thoughts on how I can look at this differently and decide? Oh and thanks for suggestion on the 40mm Funn bars - that will help me regardless of model! I will be using your affiliate link to buy - hopefully immediately! haha.

      Yeah there are a ton of choices to pick from for sure and all in a great price range. I will be getting the T6 to test out so I look forward to feeling the difference between all three models.
      As for 10 or 12 speed. In the top end of your gearing you will not see a difference if any. This is due to the fact they are putting on sunrace cassettes on and not shimano. Sunrace only go down to 11 tooth because of the HG hub where shimano with micro spline on 12 speed go down to 10 tooth. However I have found that when MTBing I am somewhere in gears 3-9 more than anything else. That is where a 12 speed would benefit you. As your range really comes with smaller gear jumps in the middle.
      Now as for which one will be lighter weight the T8 will win that battle on all the T models. But with that said if you live in FL you should really consider the D models. The 120mm range is great and if you aren't hitting med to large drops or rock gardens the D models would be great. The 120mm range is my fav travel in bikes.
      But you wouldn't be disappointed in any of them. I personally say if you can afford a T8 then snag one up the purple is a killer deal now. If you get a D model get the D7se. With the D7se you can upgrade the fork more easily with the boost spacing wheels it comes with.
      I hope this helps. If you have more questions hit me up. You can reach out on DM me on IG or send me an email.

      @@RunBikeMike you are spot on… That t8 is a great buy - especially with the 200 in freebies on top of that low price tag. But the D7se is still cheaper and I agree is probably enough for most Florida riding - I would still have to upgrade the tires to a light foldable set to move to tubeless but still a $500 difference!

      @@RunBikeMikeI had strictly been comparing the t7 with the trance x3 but then saw a video of the t8. I had planned to upgrade the t7 fork to a fox so the t8 coming with the fox is leaning me towards the 8. I am personally digging the green t8.

      @@di9me2012 are they the 4 piston or the 4x2? If they are the 4P then not too bad. I have used them and I am a fan of Tektro. But I can totally understand why you would want the Shimano. Shimano makes nice brakes.

      So for the sale price of 1799, the only upgrade you are actually receiving is the both fox brand shocks ?

    • @RunBikeMike
      @RunBikeMike  Před 5 měsíci +2

      @@ryanvillarreal6353 The Fox sus is the biggest upgrade on the T8 vs the T7. But you do get the SLX RD and Shifter which is an upgrade but not a noticeable one. The weight savings upfront the FOX fork is worth it IMO.
