I have a Honda CRV VTI. Can you integrate this unit into the dash? Is there a mounting kit which gives a flush finish? Any idea of approximate fitted cost?
I'll be getting this unit installed tomorrow looks like its gonna be a very good upgrade from the kenwood ddx419

@@TheFittingBay thanks I hope it turns out what I'm expecting my vehicle already has jlaudio c2-650 in all 4 doors being powered with a jlaudio 400x4 rd series amp and the lows are the power acoustik gw3 12in both at 4ohms powered with a pioneer d9701 & audio control epicenter
How to remove that something similar to screen saver that it shows about its features like display size carplay android auto etc. when it is kept idle plz help
Was this supposed to come with a DIN cage? I don't see one in the manual and don't see how to mount this in a standard DIN opening.
After listening to the unit while driving, it continues to play for me once the engine is off in my RV. After a period of time, it actually turns itself off. Could not find anything in the settings or other options to have it continue to play until I turn it off. Any suggestions how to overcome this? Thx

They installed these in the new Forester RV 3011DS. The only thing I don’t like is that it faces forward. Do you know if there is a bracket that I can get to make it angle towards the driver? It angles every way but left and right that I can see. Thanks for any advice. Dave
BarKeen RV yeah I understand. You can look at the mounting of the actual unit itself (not the screen) the single din module. And you can try to space the left or right side out more so it faces the driver. Hope that makes sense. Then when you attach the screen it’ll be a little better

Nefrtt you can do it! Might need abit of custom work and a cage (single din) but it can be done for sure

Can you show what it's like when connected with a USB drive for music ? Cant seem to find videos on how we can navigate, select or what information is displayed when playing a track. For example, connecting an iPod to the USB for music. Also, if connected via weblink and using apps like Pandora or Spotify, does the screen show album art ?

Vishruth Dilip Nope. I don’t think they’ll allow screen mirroring due to legal purposes but we be doing a video on how to do it using the video signal soon!

after owning this unit since release with android auto and the galaxy s9 there are moments where the unit freezes and reboots randomly. but other than that its a super good unit for a mazda 3. Nice review.

@@TheFittingBay I checked with sony and did an up date to ver 1.10 pretty easy to update and I think its my cable, because I have changed it and hasn't happened since

Brother i have installed the AX 8000 in swift 2018,however it doesn't seems to be working other feature works it can play audio an i can make or receive calls but regarding the USB connectivity it doesn't allow android auto i have oneplus 7t pro installed the android auto app but it doesn'ct funtion.
Avro Mukherjee Can you try another phone, another android phone and an Apple phone if you can. Then you can rule out the head unit and focus on the phone. Some Chinese phones have issues with android auto common

@@TheFittingBay Hey Brother !! Issue resolved 😁.. It's a really good AV receiver and I am enjoying it. During the initial installation the mechanic, Failed to add the brake wire, He actually damaged. Again it was rechecked and issue resolved 😁.. This is an excellent device. Thanks for your review..

Daniel Pelletier hey man. We don’t have that over here so I’m not totally sure but I would assume the ID number would come on a little card with the package and Product manual etc or possibly in the version settings on the unit. You could also contact a local installation shop to ask!

Man... here we are in 2020 and these displays have such low resolution, contrast totally sucks, touch panel is resistive. These stereos are nothing but profit boxes and it's a shame.
its on sale for $499, everything higher res is $900...not worth nearly double the price for 720p (or above).
