  • In this recent episode, I had the privilege of meeting up with Chris Colombo, the son of the late Joe Colombo Sr. You might remember Joe Colombo as a prominent figure in Italian-American history. Back in 1971, a tragic event unfolded during a massive rally at Columbus Circle when Joe Colombo Sr. was shot. Chris, who was just 9 years old at the time, witnessed this shocking incident. Today, Chris is a compassionate and insightful individual. We'll talk about his life journey, his dad's enduring legacy, and the amazing work he's doing to help children, fulfilling his father's dream. Join us for this heartfelt conversation about history and the enduring bonds of friendship.

    • @WangPaste
      @WangPaste Před 8 měsíci +9

      Any person living in a foreign country is discriminated against by the natives.
      Nobody wants an influx of unknowns landing in their community disrupting the demographics and unsettling their sense of security.
      In the case of Italians in America running a nationwide organised crime syndicate of racketeering, extortion, shy locking, corruption etc..... it doesn't really help with the integration process does it?
      In the UK right now we have a huge influx of Albanian criminal gangs who are doing the same thing in our cities and we weren't exactly struggling to fill organised crime employment vacancies to begin with.
      Immigration can be beneficial if the newcomers are trained and skilled qualified professionals who intend to work and contribute but 99% of the ones landing here are just scroungers with ulterior motives.

    Mr Franzese
    I loved this interview a lot. The stories, experiences about the mob life and pretty much your whole perception on life as man of God and a Christian is very inspirational to me. I can’t wait to hear more interviews like this , keep up the good work and God bless. Thank you

    Michael, you have one of the best channels on here. I really enjoy your telling of the Cosa Nostra was all about, and what it truly meant. So glad you turned your life around. If not, we would probably all be watching movies still, and believing that was the truth. God definitely had a plan for you. Respect to you, and your family.

    My two (2) favorites having a "sit down" together. Thank you Michael and Chris! Chris's story about how his father died on that podcast he mentioned came up today for me on here on CZcams®.
    It broke my heart how his dad did not have a shunt put in in time to have the pressure in his brain not kill him. I know what Chris's father went through. Thank God I got my shunt in time at a young age and now I monitor it to make sure the pressure does not get that bad.
    I love both of your guys respected channels!
    Chris if you read this let's get (2023-2024) week #18 picks all correct!
    You both are truly the greatest! Keep up the great work both of you, be safe, and God bless you both!

      It's a stent not a stunt And your right. Difference is today an ARI would have located to blockage . Time fixes all.

    • @GOLDENGOOGTUBE
      @GOLDENGOOGTUBE Před 2 měsíci

      @terrypaulson5945 No, it is not a stent that was suppose to be put in. A shunt was suppose to be put in Michael's father that is why the pressure on his father's brain is what most likely he died from. Not a stent.

      @@terrypaulson5945 Chris has said in other interviews a shunt, not a stent. Anyway, "Joseph A. Colombo Sr. was operated on for two hours at Roosevelt Hospital yesterday to ease a blockage of fluid that had built up in his skull. The hospital called the operation “routine.” The New York Times

    Ready for Part 2! Glad to hear stories of your father in the military. I served and was deployed but i totally agree that our younger generations need to wake up. Also i think alot of us combat veterans are tired of what they are doing to this country.

      @@michaelfranzese Sorry for the late reply, but its an honor to even have you reply back to me! I have the most respect for you and the men back in the day! You had moral, values, integrity. These days we lack that but i think that is going to change soon. Some of us are fed up and we are willing to sacrifice even more! You are a part of history in America! Its an Honor and have the most respect for you and your family!
