Need tiers and don’t know the steps to figuring watt do first to
Find out watt tier I can squeeze and won’t rub so just like a step-by-step video on what actually goes down first to last including bushings and putting wheels on and finding the measurement for the tire and rolling fenders to where do I start ?

Here's the thing. It is impossible to tell if low profile tires are low on air or even flat. Especially at night. For less than $50 I have screw-on caps. They have accurate temperature and pressure sensor valve caps.
They transmit real time info to a solar-powered head unit. NO WIRES or internal sensors!!!
You can even rotate your tires...just keep the valve caps in the same place.
Batteries in valve caps last a couple years and are user-replaceable.
All sorts of customizable alarms can be set by the user. Amazon baby!

5:56 that actually happened to me after I had mounted my TSWs, but then the car stopped being stupid and finally cleared the TPMS light as I had transferred my factory TPMS over to my new wheels instead of having to drop more money for a new set.
As for All Season tires, I live up here in Colorado and I'm always hitting the mountains, but I'm hitting those corners hard and fast in BFGoodwrich Comp 2 A/S tires. I've never ran any other tire because of just how bi polar our weather is. It can be super duper nice out, perfect for hitting the mountains and suddenly your hit by the massive amount of snow or heavy rains the next day, but then the day after it can bright and sunny again or Colorado's most common weather type during everything except Summer: Boost Weather.
All Seasons have never failed me, they stick alot more than you'd think in good weather and grip when they need to during snow. Maybe get a teeny, weenie little wheel spin with them when up in the mountains because I do like to leave my ST without TC and ESC on because I can't be alittle bitch, but when I do leave them on, the car sticks to the ground with those tires.

Great tips, but you should mention one thing rookies don't do when buying tires. Thanks to UTQG, you can actually gauge how fast a tire will wear out, and also, how much traction they can give. Only winter tires don't need/have UTQG so don't freak out if they don't have it.
UTQG of below 200 is usually very grippy tires and wear out faster, and the bigger numbers means they last a lot longer, with the corresponding decrease in performance.
Great tip about the TPMS, for me they are a wallet saver as running low on tire pressure on expensive tires can really eat your wallet alive, and makes for a great peace of mind. Warning light comes on, then it's time to check all the tire pressures, some even come with temperature sensor so it's great to see if the tires are overheating.

I have a Nissan 370Z sport 6MT and when it came time to replace the OEM Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, that only got about 15K miles on them, I went with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. The upfront cost of the Michelins was higher than most, but the cost per mile over the 35K miles that I ran the tires was actually less than most of the 23 other brands of tires that I had been considering. This tire was a 300tw tire that was warrantied for 30K miles, but was cut in half because I have a staggered fitment that wouldn't allow tire rotations. The tires wore completely uniformly across the tread and even still had a little tread left when I replaced them after 35K miles. As much as I liked the tires, the only drawback for me was the slightly vague steering and lack of high precision, that I attributed to the extremely flexible sidewalls. The replacement tires that I just put on are the Pilot Sport Cup 2(240) connect. They'll probably get less mileage but the steering definitely feels better and the ride quality hasn't suffered noticeably. They won't be as good on wet roads but that is not a problem for me.
The moral to the story is that sometimes there is real value in some of these better tires, even if they are more expensive initially. Do the research on the tires that match your driving style and the road conditions you expect to operate in and don't be afraid to spend a few bucks more for a good tire. You won't be sorry in the long run.

Did AutoX a few weeks back and was sick of the ass end kicking out and not having much grip. I had all season tires that came with the car ('15 Hyundai R-Spec Coupe). I went big and got 225/245 Michelin Sport Cup 2s. I also have 20mm /25mm staggered set up. Haven't gone to the track but from road use I can tell a major difference. Whenever I would do normal daily driving and corner and very mildly accelerate I would get wear hop. Like 2k rpm wheel hope in 2nd, ridiculous. The power definitely feels more planted. Since they are rated Extreme Performance Summer I was expecting a more rough ride but not the case and actually an improvement. I must have had really shitty tires before. The one downside and this is nitpicking but the tire look is too busy and doesn't look as clean. It's not that big of a deal. I see high end cars x5 the value of my car running these types of tires so I may have went a little overboard but so far so good. When I heard them mentioned in the video I feel even better after with the purchase.

Are we not meant to stick to factory sizes? Insurance can be invalidated in the UK if the tyres are too far out of spec from originals

Have a question: My car has 205/45/R17 88V rated tire(same size as originals). The tire pressure sticker on the car, shows 39 PSI front and rear. I don't have the original tire brand on the car but have Hankook Ventus v2 Concept2 with the above tire size. 1) The issue is that in the wet, when I take off from red light, traction control lights comes up as tires start to lose traction. I am not aggressive at all, just regular take off. 2) Turning left at speed of around 20 MPH will make the car skid a bit. The tread life is about 50% on all 4 tires. 4 wheel Alignment was done few months ago. What could be the issue? Too much pressure, too little or just bad tire brand? Thanks!

    Winter Tips From Sweden.
F**k all seasons! they suck and isn’t good for anything.
In winter conditions always use real winter tiers, preferably studded ones as studded tiers are a million times better if you where to drive over a spot of ice.
But most importantly SLOW DOWN and remember that your stopping distance is greatly increased.

Just throw some nankangs or federals on. I prefer federals cause the tread looks sexy

I've been rocking cheap Federal's for the past few months but I'm about to switch to Achille's for the same price but better treadwear

Ya know I ask about nankangs at my local time shop they sold me Delintes since they are the cheapest for 275/40/20. Not sure how true it is. Nice tire but it is def not a Nitto

My wheels are 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear. Will 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 respectively, look good?

I want 18×9.5" wheels for square set up on an E46 M3. 265/35-18.
Same offset so I can rotate them. I'll run 20mm spacers in the rear.
I think offset of 35 will fit my fronts with no spacers. And then I run 20 mm spacers in the back.
I want concave spokes no lip. Talk to me. I run Brembo Gran Turismo BBK that fit under my current 18in Wheels which are good but ugly D-Force LTW.
Tires are four 265/35-18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Michelin Pilot 4s.

Running 205/40 Nitto Neogens on a 17” Focal rim. Would upload to the gallery but I can’t afford coil overs at the moment. 🥺

If you can't afford coilovers, go with sleeves, and if you want better suspension, go with kyb's. But I've had sleeves for 3 months now, zero issues, and i still have lowering springs on the rear.

What should I get? My stock size are 225-45-17 on a 335xi 08 coupe AWD 🤔 I want something thicker. Without looking stupid and having grip.. I was thinking about MichelinPILOT SPORT 4S - and potenza re-71r for the summer set up but would they be good for the streets instead of the track?

When I message FI for recommendations someone suggested 18x7.5+35 and I went to measure my stock tire and it was practically the same and this would look like crap on the car lol 😆

  • @profoundgreetingsfromneptune

When purchasing new tires, what is the absolute oldest date on those "new" tires one should accept? I've heard any tire one year old or newer is acceptable. Is this correct?

Sooo Sooooo truth on getting the tires mounted at wheel purchase or doing their research and getting them done at a shop with the right equipment. Save me the hassle of trying to avoid your work order and take them somewhere with a euro style center clamp hot boi mounter!! The Hunter table top machine at my work can do xxx/25 with a whole freaking lot of love, care, and patience but if that bead ever thinks of giving issue the arm is going to scrape the wheel, or i'm buying you a new tire :'(

Wait. All those numbers at first "mistake", dose it counts for EU two ? Or it is like only for america ? Like meter vs miles and km vs mph
