The mall, the grocery store, the gas station, take the longer way home, target, Walmart, work, volunteer to pick someone up at the airport because when you arrive at the loading gate it's basically stance parking only so everyone has to see you because you parked right in front of the door.

Edgar Nunez yeah it’s really unfortunate, my wheel arrived at their facility around a week ago (mind you this is still 2 weeks after I ordered) and I was notified there was a big scratch on one of the wheels so they had to get a new one and now we are on the back end of week 3 and still nothing

Also consider the compatibility of your tpms sensors, and Probably worth mentioning you’ll likely need aftermarket lugs. 👍

You'd be surprised how much damage you can do in potholes that looks like the wheels were curbed if you have low enough profile tires

Always double check and triple check your sizes. If you wanna run wide tires, make sure your wheels can accommodate that. Make sure that if you need to, buy aftermarket lugs bc chances are the OEMs won't fit. TSW wheels for example have a conical lug seat so look for lugs with a conical seat. Also make sure those same aftermarket lugs have the same thread pattern, most cars are 12x1.5 or 12x1.25. All in all just research and ask around, people will be happy to help out!

Also bumps on the road are harder on suspension components (links, struts,etc) if you go lower on your tire
I'm laughing so much, I was very lucky, a friend of mine suggested to go for ET20 straight away.. I don't regret it, I'm glad I did, have space for a brake upgrade that I will be doing soon.. My friend also pointed out the day that I will curb the wheels will be a day I will be sad.. I have my honda accord tourer in silver at you guys gallery and in UK roads can be a bit of a challenge, specially if I don't know the road that I will be driving on.. So far I only had one situation that I thought I couldn't drive through because of being wide, 1cm on each side to pass 😂😂. Good video. My tourer corners so well I've made my mom and partner scream on a turn 😂😂
I'm kind of getting into cars but I realized the more personal customization you do it seems the more you have to worry about.

That's basically life my dude. Anything built to your spec, or anything unique for that matter requires special/extra care to keep it in a decent shape.
I'd be just as carefull with a brand new car as i would be with brand new wheels. You'll want to keep them clean AF for the longest time possible right?

Certainly agree with the check your measurements. I have a 2004 Honda Civic Si (EP3 Chassis code) with Spoon 4 piston monobloc calipers in the front, and larger knuckles, hubs, axles, rotors from an RSX Type S in the front.
If you're doing a lot of things like that I advise looking at specs of wheels on the car that parts come from, which shouldn't be much a second thought.
I'm going to update in the gallery, I have maybe 1/2 cm caliper clearance on the face.

Wheels are Motegi Traklite 17x8 +40 with a 225/45-17 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

Folks may want to ask themselves why they want a BBK. It won't make a night and day difference in stopping time, assuming you have decent brakes to begin with, but it will make the stopping distances more consistent. Then there's the bad part - you're adding quite a bit of rotational/unsprung weight. IOW, you're making the car slower and deprecating its handling. Probably not what you had in mind. Instead, upgrade your current braking system. For example, we shed about 20lbs of rotational mass with Baer rotors. We also run a high-performance fluid, lines, and pads. You can do the same and increase the performance envelope with no drawbacks. Good luck.

Tfw 8:11 called me out like they've been watching me from a distance even though this came out a full year before I bought wheels that wouldn't clear the brakes on my sti. Lesson learned either way and good thing I was able to return them and get something else that would actually fit (not a spacer boi).
You're expected to take good care of your rims. Scratches are minor, cracks are bad if you have multipiece, and breaking them is horribly expensive!
Aftermarket wheels are just another way of getting 'related' to your car! Investment and responsibility.

Dont forget about the hubcentric rings or look at hub size of your vehicle vs hub size of the wheels

I don't know if it really applies to new wheels but at least when buying old wheels make sure the hub diameters are big enough to clear. If u have a staggered setup you most likely have different hub diameters in front than rear. I bought old jdm wheels for my s2000 and the hub diameter was too large on the front. Luckily I found a machine shop to mill the wheels for a really good price

Take wider turns then normal when buying wheels anything wider then your stock rim as well. That’s how I curved mine once. Oh question do you guys carry wheel pressure sensors? Cause my Scion XB has them.
