Original Description:
Find out how an exhausted screenwriter managed to shove Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Black Widow, Thanos, Tyrion Lannister, Star Lord, Groot, Gamora, Drax, Mantis, Shuri, Hulk, Thor and MANY MANY MANY more heroes into a single Marvel movie. Whew. Kind of nuts.
In Avengers: Infinity War, the stakes have never been higher, as Thanos executes his very vague and not very well explained plan of wiping out half of all life in the universe! Despite not being able to do so for the past 18 Marvel movies, collecting the 6 Infinity Stones necessary to complete this task is #supereasybarelyaninconvenience. The question now remains, how is Marvel Studios going to top this one?

Fun fact : this is the ONLY pitch meeting without a full "super easy barely an inconvenience"
Historical!
Do we even know who Ryan George is anymore? Lol
“Super easy, barely an inconven-”
Fitting it in was apparently super difficult, major inconvenience.
Nothing in that movie was super easy
“I don’t think so, unless some jerk on the internet points it out” is one of my all time favourite Pitch Meeting lines
Agreed xD
Shut up, some jerk on the Internet.
The ayes have it *gavel sound*
The motion is passed
Then Marvel made a whole show where the bad guy was “some jerk on the internet” so it’s come full circle 😂
I thought Ryan couldn't get any more wholesome but that was before seeing his marriage pictures. All the best wishes to you and your wife, my dude
Wife?! Well I'll be...
@@justinkennedy3004 you can't be her, sorry.
@@favoritemustard3542 you ain't seen me in my best dress.

Those photos were so stunning.
This is one of my favorite pitch meetings. I laughed so much. I love the whole "shut the hell up everyone". I thought you did a great job. Very excited for the next pitch meeting.
It really made me wonder if roughly that exact convo had happened at Marvel Studios
If anyone else was wondering, the Ben & Jerry’s joke was right at the beginning where the characters discuss ice cream flavors named after super heroes (when the Hulk is debriefing Iron Man & Dr. Strange on Thanos’ plan)
I could go for some Hunka Hulka burning fudge!
No one was wondering

I love playing the guess what Ryan is going to draw game. This week’s challenge wasn’t too hard
Your answer to the book pitch meeting idea was my favorite moment. Its amazing how funny "no" for a half second can be.
A flutter of happiness hits me every time a new Pitch Meeting comes out.
Pitch meetings are tight
Was your subtle jab at revisited pitch meetings, intentional? 😅
And I'm always excited about how the drawing will turn out at the end.
Yes sir, it does!
If I feel a flutter it’s usually gas 😂
OMG when he immediately said NO to the book pitch meeting thing, I said in my brain beforehand, "he's just gonna say No and move on".....I watch this man on my screen way too much!
I remember he also said no for video games as they would take too much time to finish and get the story together, so I assumed he would say no for books too, but that short NO just made me spit my tea.
Though honestly if he made book pitch meetings, I would watch them
@@matityaloran9157 same, but also i would watching any video he makes, so
I also feel it's better to do movie pitch meetings because it's typically the incompetence of the corporate figure heads or people failing to communicate. personifing corporate greed and pirdeful ambitions into two dorks that are deciding to do things on purpose is hilarious and usually nobody get hurt.
Breaking down a book that a single individual wrote over the span of a year and a half just seems cruel and unkind. A real low-blow.
Watching a man too much is tight!
Not even a minute in and bro's got me cracking with the Bruce Willis joke 😂😂🤣🤣
It broke my heart when Ryan said this PM was subpar. I think this is easily one of my favorites
Hey Ryan, here’s my question:
When you watch a movie, do you ever hear the voices of Screenwriter guy and Producer guy pitching the movie you’re watching?
Schizophrenic energy
All I hear are the screams of my enemies
Probably. *I* hear them all the time, and I'm not … well, them. :-D
Today, I was listening to an MMA podcast and some said, "those are some bad boys" which made me think, "bad boys are tight."
I'm hoping it isn't a trend. My thoughts are distracting enough.
I think he actually answered this in another video with how he can imagine the jokes while watching the movie
This was the best revisited one ever... Now I know Ryan George is the stage name for Peter Billingsley
Or is Peter Billingsley the stage name for Ryan George?
@@davidwheeler3161 Or are both names a stage name for Ryan Billingsley?
Which is why William Ginter Riva (a Stark techie played by Ryan/Peter) wasn't in Infinity War.
It would have shattered the 4th Wall and the 5th Dimension, leaving us one less bell to answer.

Ryan,
Do you realize how much we love Pitch Meetings?
You've done an amazing job with this format, congrats brother.
How do you remain so prolific? I've never seen such consistent quality humor content from another creator. I'd love to have an idea of what your process is like. How many ideas or scripts do you have on the back burner?
This is a classic pitch meeting, so many good takes in this one. The 'shut the hell up everyone' bit is especially good. You nailed this one Ryan!
I think if he made it now it would be the “Hey shut up” scene. Or the “get all the way off my back” scene.
You made me laugh out loud with that delivery on when you got married and the number of divorces. I hope you never stop making this content.
TO MY WIFE
Been referring to Thanos as "Pokèmon Bruce Willis" ever since I first saw this pitch meeting.
So funny, so true I can't unsee it.
One thing I would love to see is a crossover from one of your other series'!
Keep up the phenomenal content, Ryan.
The guys that asked for book pitch meeting must be happy and sad at the same time, happy for seeing his question on screen and sad for a straight up NO for an answer.
Thanks for revisiting this one, Peter Billingsly. Much appreciated. I like the character of Ryan George you've created, with a back story and a wife etc. Nicely done!
I think the Ben and Jerry joke works best in a meta way. The scene was Bruce, Tony, and Wong talking about Avenger flavored Ben and Jerry's. But the point of it being product placement almost no one is going to understand, let alone remember a few years later is perfect.
Yeah, but then in Endgame they missed an opportunity for it to just be "Ben's"
@@nedpeters8408 Yeah you're right that would have been funny
I love that "no" at 8:41. 🤣🤣It just doesn't need any explanation.
Hopefully it gets through to all the ppl who ask over & over for book & video game Pitch Meetings.
I appreciate you finding the voices of the characters. It adds so much. It also feels like you found your own voice too. Which is nice. Good job. I am happy for you
I take for granted how much your acting ability has evolved in a relatively short amount of time. I realize that your repertoire is somewhat limited by your format, but damn dude, you have pitch guy and producer guy DOWN. You always bring a smile to my face, if not an actual laugh. And that’s saying something, ‘cuz I’m a cranky old bastard.
Have you ever started a pitch meeting and then not finished it, like part of the way through you didn’t like how it was going or you didn’t think there was enough material?
Edit: This is a question for Ryan lol. Not a commentary on this video or other Pitch Meetings.
NOPE
Sometimes I do that when I’m reading comments
Sounds like depression
Doing something you regularly enjoy, and part way through realizing you're not enjoying yourself.
@@ssheeesshonly if it’s a regular habit. Sometimes people just stop things
I actually really liked that you called out the Ben & Jerry’s product placement! Dr. Strange & Wong mention two flavours in the Sanctum Sanctorum scene - Stark Ravin’ Hazelnuts and Hunka Hulka Burnin’ Fudge. Hulk subsequently eats the latter in Endgame when they’re planning the time heist in the Avengers compound 🍨
Second time asking this question: have you ever tried to write a pitch meeting for a movie but ultimately failed because you found the movie was just too well written?
I doubt it, but it would be kind of funny to know if that actually happened.
He once did an interview with CinePals, and yeah. There’s a reason why he’s never done pitch meetings for How to Train Your Dragon….too well written

I liked the Ben & Jerry's joke. Especially the "Good, 'cause I already cashed that check" part.
The moment he said he's drawing "ironman" I knew he was going to stuff a real ironing iron somewhere 😂
Hey Ryan, I have a question for you:
Do you ever laugh at your own jokes while filming or writing or coming up with idea of an episode?
I would like to know that too!
those wedding photos are beautiful and you both look very happy. Congratulations!
loved these when they came, but its clear how much you have improved when watching these :D not that the old ones are bad, just that you have improved alot! gj
As a fellow Ryan, this guy is a great Ryan
As a non-Ryan, I support Ryans.
A question from my brain to you:
Is there a movie or show that you wanted to watch for a pitch meeting but gave up on because it was so bad? Or one in which you died a little inside but pushed yourself to finish it? Thank you, bye. Love u
I would absolutely do a Book Pitch Meetings, all I need is a youtube channel, editing skills, comedic delivery, and talent.
I enjoy these revisiteds almost as much as, if not more than the actual Pitch Meetings themselves.
Question: what special effect do you use to make your eyes so piercingly blue and stunning?
How do you decide what to draw when showing us the pitch meeting? AND when can we expect revisits to your revisited pitch meetings?
That would be too many layers of redundancy the universe would implode! lol
The way Hollywood is going, that's about the level of originality we're getting these days!
Pitch meetings in period setting for older movies like, The Bed that ate people, The Bed Sitting Room and maybe Bednobbs and Broomsticks. Imagine pitch meeting King Kong in 31.
This actually reminds me of how safe cinema has become.

"If Bruce Willis was a pokemon this is probably what he'd evolve into" - one of the greatest jokes ever written
"What does he use the reality stone for?" "More bubbles than you'd expect!" - close second
Revisiting Infinity War Pitch Meeting is more than tight.
Hey Ryan, real quick and I'm not really sure why but that freaking billingsley joke got me so damn tickled it took me a few minutes to recover so thank you for that.
Lmao omg thank you so much for hitting the home run on my comment! Been watching for years and knew your comedy was fitting to my own! Fitting comedy is TIGHT!
We need an "Elf" pitch meeting next. "So Santa, a near-omnipotent being with known magical powers, doesn't notice a baby going into his magic bag?" "So even though Santa knows every kid on Earth and can identify them on sight individually, he can't figure out where this baby came from or even who he is or the identity of the child's parents?"
What made you switch from the more serious/deadpan tone you started with, to the now more outlandish/bousterous tone your characters have? I love the more over-the-top characters, BTW. :)
Replying so he's more likely to see this
Probably just evolution/experience of playing the characters over time.
Confidence is one hell of a drug.
Ryan, love the videos. Question! Is there ever a movie the Screen Rant bosses have you cover for a Pitch Meeting that you actually struggle to dissect and make fun of? Like, I noticed you haven't covered blockbusters like Mission Impossible and Dune. Were they just good enough to avoid getting a Pitch Meeting?
He did do one on the Mission Impossible franchise, just not the individual movies.
And I would SWEAR he did the new Dune movie, but it's not in the wiki. Apparently I've watched so many of these that I'm imagining ones that don't exist.
I'm such a big fan of this movie that the pitch meeting came up on my Recommended list, and I loved it so much that's what got me checking out... well... every other video. Before and since. Several times. So thanks for THAT rabbit hole
FOR THE THIRD TIME: I love your ikea bridge picture i have that exact one in my house too and watching these videos make me fear you have committed a home invasion and I double check that room (i am also from st Catherines so you might be nearby... Somewhere).
I imagine Ryan's wedding was super easy and barely an inconvenience of an event which more or less went like this:
- Do you accept her as your wife?
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.... Yeah. Now get all the way off my back please so I can kiss the bride!
- Fair enough!
Hey-shuddup
"well okay then"
Were they married by one of the clones? Bet they were
"Ok, I guess maybe you're now husband and wife, I decided."
How do people insist on taking literally any joke and saying it in an out-of-context, unfunny way is beyond me honestly. Even when corporations do it for advertising I'm always baffled that PR don't see how jarring those memes look without the proper context and setup, but when supposed "fans" do it? Absolutely mind boggling
great to see there are more people in ryan george's universe than just himself. Congrats :b
Hey Ryan,
Consider adding revisits to your Pitch Meetings playlist.
Keep these coming
You got me excited for the book recaps and then quickly put that flame out.
*I absolutely DESPISE* how the biggest moments in this movie have been undone:
+ Loki is alive (idc if it’s a variant)
+ Hiemdall is alive in Valhalla
+ Vision is back
+ Thor’s eye is back
+ Thor’s hammer is back
+ RDJ is supposedly in talks to come back
*The only thing* that had lasting stakes was that it ruined Quill and Gamora’s relationship
Love your vids. Keep them coming 👍
Hey Ryan,
loving your stuff. Always lights up my mood watching it.
Heres my question: When you sketch a character in the beginning of your revisited-videos - do you actually use the runtime of the original pitch meeting as time to draw or is it random?
Your commentary at the end makes this video better than the original 😂
I have a question: What was the process like for your collabs with Matpat? Who approached who for each one and were you both involved with the lines?
Hey Ryan, could you do a series on Pixar like you did Twilight or Harry Potter? They’re still pretty recent so they should get good views, and the concepts especially of the older movies should work really well with your format. Your Soul and Toy Story pitch meetings were some of my favorites and I bet you could do a bunch more great ones on other Pixar movies.
Agreed!
He did both
Hey Ryan! My husband and I love your pitch meetings and have turned several of our friends and family into fans. It was super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Question:
Would you be willing to do a revisited Pitch Meeting for any of the Twilight movies please? Besides the Cats pitch, the compilation for the Twilight Saga is our favorite.
Also I hope your eyes have recovered from bleeding so much after watching those films. Bless you sir, for your sacrifice.
Love your work Ryan, because even when your ripping it's always fun and kind dude!
As a person who does reactions I can confidently say, I also have been to lots of bars
But Ryan does set that bar high.
Hi Ryan, my whole family likes to watch your videos together! Thank you for all the laughs!
My question is (sorry if this has already been asked): When did you first start working for screen rant, and how do you feel about Pitch Meeting getting its own channel?
i love how fast that marriage post arrives and drives on by. CONGRATS!😍
The Peter Billingsley comment left me ROLLING. 🤣🤣🤣
Question: aside from certain genres (such as comedies not really working for the Pitch Meeting-treatment), is there any specific formula / typical tropes that lend themselves perfectly for a Pitch Meeting? In other words: do you have a mental list of check boxes that you tick, or is the whole process of picking a movie more organic and mostly based on loose ideas?
Two questions here
1. Has there ever been a movie you watched to do a Pitch Meeting for and just didn't think it would work?
2. Can you tell us about your future casting as Multiple Man in the MCU, and if not, can you at least read this out loud so other people will think that's something that should happen?
Hi Ryan! Please do a Pitch Meeting for The Room! It would make my year!
"I've never felt nothing like I felt nothing in that moment..." You just described my entire experience with the MCU. Bring back R-rated Blade and give us a PROPER run of X-Men movies and I might consider giving a hoot 😂

Question - When you have finished filming and editing a pitch meeting, do you get someone to watch it (you're wife, best friend, local barista, guy at the bus stop) and see if they agree that it's ready to post??
Love your content, man!!! Big thumbs up from Cambridge, England.
I remember the "First guy to ever tell a story" video that came out concurrently with Infinity war more than the Infinity war pitch meeting itself
Nothing shows how effective product placement is better than not remembering what the product placement joke was even about.
Hey Ryan! Massive fan of your work, always leaves me laughing. Are you writing or making any films of your own and, if not, do you plan on doing so in the future?
I've been feeling that superhero fatigue recently as well. I didn't watch She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Loki, Shazam 2, Blue Beetle, or The Flash, and I don't really plan on watching The Marvels or Aquaman 2 any time soon, soooo... yeah.
With that in mind, have there been any times where you had to write a pitch meeting for something you had absolutely zero desire to watch, and how did you go about preparing yourself and pushing past that feeling?
I hope you're doing well and that you stay in good health!
Loki is the only big miss in that list. All the rest is kind of trash, but Loki is top-notch and very creative. Also not particularly superhero-y. More of a time travel show.
@Kumagoro42 I did enjoy the first season. I mainly haven't watched the second season because I have OCD about watching things in release date order.
@@masonhenderson0221Ah you meant Loki S2. I still have to watch it myself.

Thanks Pete. Great video as usual!
Do you actually play the pitch meeting while drawing the pictures to see if you can finish before the video ends?
Question for question time!
Have you ever had a movie that you thought you were going to make a Pitch Meeting for but after watching it for the first time or at any point of watching it you thought "Yeah probably not this one."?
The pitch meeting for books response was fantastic!

Would you ever consider doing pitched for non-english movies as long as they are subbed?
He did one for Squid Games so I'd imagine that it COULD happen.

So weird that you posted this today as I just watched this movie last night! As I re-watched this pitch meeting, I was unable to remember anything about the Ben & Jerry's joke, until I really thought about it and remembered that there was a very throwaway joke in the film, it's even kind of hard to understand, where they say something about there being some kind of Hulk ice cream flavor. Hunka Hulk or something. lol
Love all your stuff, I often send them to my family and they find it a hoot
Would you ever consider re-visiting a Pitch Meeting Revisited video?
2 parter here, do you find revisited videos more fun to make, than regular pitch meetings? Do you think you'd ever re-upload any of the pitch meetings with the changes you mention in the revisits? Take care sir and thank you for all the entertainment ❤
