- I've been working on a full car audio build and install on a 2017 VW Jetta. This build features sound treatment, a head unit upgrade, two new amplifiers, a DSP controlled signal, two 13" Subwoofers, and a custom trunk beauty panel to top off the install. In this video I walk through the whole build and we do a sound test and reveal the build to the vehicle's owner!

All the touches to make the pieces in the cabin feel OEM+. Absolutely love it
RIGHT! I can really appreciate that!!!
Honestly, this is what car Audio was suppose to be about... Not fill the vehicle with so many speakers so passengers need to sit on the roof
Lol nothing wrong with alot of speakers.
That's literally me
It’s just a simple upgrade... people put a bunch of speakers to compete and win awards or even money
@@Jessie-em9ck stop enjoying sound Bro, and Start enjoying music..
Every person is different, with different needs. I have two kids, and a complete interior, two car seats for then kids in the back seat, and two twelves in the trunk on a 3K amp. It's enough to put the rear view mirror pointing straight down if I am out and about by myself, or if I have the kiddos, I'll turn the epicenter to pass through and it's as meek as a kitten. But, if I'm still around when the boys grow up, or I am financially capable of having a second vehicle, I'll go full tilt with 6 twleves and a wall, and passengers can call someone else to haul them around.
Oh boy I wish I could hear that system, aesthetically it’s awesome. Great job man!
It sounded really good! Definitely a fun one, thanks for tuning in.
@@CarAudioFabrication Do you have any promo codes from your sponsor KnuKonceptz? I have a big order to place but looking for a promo code for some type of discount or something
Really turned out awesome, the fact that you can make the whole build look completely stock is amazing if this guy is in a parking lot and opens his trunk you would never guess he had a sound system unless of course if you heard him jamming lol.
This is the kind of set up that I love. You may not see it, but you can hear it and you can feel it. Real quality work and audio.
Every vehicle I have owned I have done audio systems starting when I was 16 in 05 from the days of audiobaun and Orion. I have made my fair share of noobie mistakes. I am well informed in what to do but by no means I am a professional and I am always willing to learn more as the technology is always changing. I am actually in the middle of redoing my Mega cab and have referred to your channel multiple times to learn as much as I can and how I wanted to plan out this system. I would love to go all out on my dream system but I am making due with the best I can budget and some information you have provided has definitely helped get the most out of what I can do. Thank you for the years of videos and willingness to share your knowledge in such a clear and easy understanding way for all levels of expertise.
I HATE when certain youtubers CLIP the microphones. I have a really nice set up, using lower gain made this sound epic on my "STUDIO" system. Thank you for NOT CLIPPING the bass... Seriously! Cheers from Canada!
You really know your craft! The attention to details is out of this world! This is incredibly well done!
I watched your videos before setting up my system. Everything I did with your help made the system incredible, I thank you.
Bruh you do some dope custom work to ppl cars... Wish you was in my city I'd definitely let you get down on my trunk
say that again.....
lmaooooo

Hey Mark, another positive and happy customer video. You get what you pay for here always. Thorough, detailed, I give a damn work ethic builds. That’s what real car audio is about. No hype, all real deal! Keep up the great work! Looking forward to more of that detail video you do so well! Stay safe mates!😊👍🏻😷
Thanks for always commenting!
Your workmanship and quality is top notch. You are truly a craftsman, I love how everything looks factory but I am sure sounds phenomenal
Seems like a very nice system, I watched the whole series and I knew it was going o be awesome. But here is a nice cuve ball for you Mark: Try to build a system that leaves the car 100% usable (no big subwoofer box).
I mean... The same you did with this one, but keeping the ability to use the whole trunk (the main space of it) and still being able to fold down the seats to acomodate large objects on both spaces. It would be very nice to see how that turns out and to be able to learn hou you would solve it.
You do we very clean awesome builds!! Love the detailed work you go above and beyond with😁We need more builds , keep them coming 💯🔥👍👍👏🏼👌👌
Appreciate that, thanks for watching!
Love seeing your beautiful and sleek looking work. I can’t hear it properly from my phone, but I bet it sounds awesome
Everything is awesome, especially keeping the spare accessible. Thanks for showing us!
The build, the wiring and the craftsmanship with nothing to be suspected of mod mahn that’s clean. Loved your work !
Man you do amazing work! I am very very impressed. Your work is truly a work of art!!
This is a perfect set up for a daily driver that wants to have the ability to "JAM" on it! GREAT equipment and a GREAT install CAF!
Thanks guys!
I LOVE that head unit. It allows me to access the Back-up Camera at all times if I want. With the “smesh” of a button
Man that is impressive love how u made that custom box n blended everything in that trunk u couldn’t tell that it was a sub box back their awesome job bro
if someone made this kinda of detailed work on my car i would freakin flip out! i wont be able to keep my cool. i appreciate how much work you put in it even though its not for me and i think its absolutely astonishing what you did here. i would have loved it more if i got to see some more of the details in the making but i understand its going to be a lot more work to do. good job bro!
Are you asking passively for him to make you an offer?
True craftsman!! Fantastic work, and your level of detail is exceptional.
Even through all of CZcamss compression and whatnot it sounds amazing, clear, and better than whatever i have
Hi from Turkey 🇹🇷. I had a smile on my face when I listened to the music.
How much was the installation???
The word is seamless. That sound is so amazing it makes me feel like I can't wait to buy my first car
Dude man I’m wanting to get a full system for my Dodge Dart and you showed me exactly how I want it done🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your videos are impressive like the quality of your work. Really elegant and professional.
Great reveal, awesome attention to detail all the way through! What kind of cost was this build though?!
I can 100% confirm that the beauty panel is sleek and is in line with the body lines of that Jetta👌 btw your videos are great man👏
Great job Mark I like to thank u brother I been watching ur videos for a while. I Don’t do system installation but I just put 2 12”s kickers n amp on my 04 Durango and at first I had problems but after remembering some of ur videos answered all my questions and questions I didn’t know I had. Lol sounds great no noise from power cord or my negative one I wired the deck the same way u do ur installation kit as far as the adapter goes and I got the silver copper cords can’t remember what u call em but hey it was fun n great sound thanks I really appreciate u and ur channel motivated me to do my own box n installation thank u u got any free decals for my car lol
Awesome to hear! Glad to help! Thanks for watching
@@CarAudioFabrication awesome thanks u made my night brother I deeply appreciate it thanks again keep recording awesome content
Great build 🤘 wish I could have you do an install for my mustang!!
That hidden sud box is on point now ive gotta build me one for my acura
While anyone being honest with themselves would admit that the attention to detail and pride in his work resulted in a OEM+ level installation. I thoroughly recommend subscribing. But, did ALL THE SEATS really have to be removed?? Damn dog.
Nice detail, that was on point!!!
Having been in the car audio business for over 30 years, you really should have used the best sound deadener on the market. Dynamat is really the best choice, copy mats just don’t cut it.
Wow.This audio system is awesome.
Seeing the spare brought back memories. A long time ago I had a sub floor in my trunk with a few batteries, 4 JL 12W3’s, 3 Fosgate amps. Long story short, I had a flat late at night on the highway with no cell service and not another human in sight other than a pissed off girl friend. I had to dismantle everything to get to my spare tire. Naturally it started raining. Lessons where learned that day.
This was great, man. Love your videos. You can build me a setup any day lol
Man. That work was CLEAN 👌
Good to see a new videos, hope you had a happy new year mark
Same to you
Wow, that's phenomenal.
Looks hella nice bro beautiful install dude
Great build mate!
Yet again very impressive! I can only imagine how well the song, Take What You Want, by Post Malone ft Ozzy sounds like.
Seriously jammed.
I wish everyone could have something like this, pretty sick !
Awesome build...love it
Love to see a spl build here, you always do sq.
Really cool! Great job
Awesome job.....i was hoping you could do some reviews on those jl subs and find out how many watts rms they truly push out. I'm sure they are pretty close to what they advertise.
It's creature comforts for me, custom made bass knob and usb ports in unintruding locations. That's ideal, well done!
I must say though, not sure the average customer or music listener would notice all the attention to detail you put in haha. I probably couldn't tell the difference between JL C3s and something cheaper. But if the customer's willing to pay for it, why not! Cheers.
Hard to beat the perfection in the installation👍
Appreciate that! Thank you!
@@CarAudioFabrication where u guys located please I’m thinking to bring my 2008 Infiniti G37s coupe to u guys for sum sounds system upgrade
The build was cleeaaan you definitely but your heart into it!
Pretty awesome build. This video was full of “that’s what she said” moments!🤣
Looks fantastic, great job man.
Really appreciate that, thanks for tuning in
I love how you left the space in the boot
Swell! and i've always like jl in a sealed box. them old school w0 were beast!
Wow se ve genial tu trabajo. Aunque no entiendo del todo el inglés me gusta ver lo que haces.
Beautiful design!
Really nice build.
very slick great detail sounds great professional work from st Lucia
Nice build! Great music too.
Great job bro 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
I haven't missed any vids for the past 5 years now i think...maybe longer. Killer install my guy!!!
Thanks Ron for always watching!
How much would this cost the average Joe? Gear + install.
Nice and clean job
thumbs up , looks great (i'm sure it sounds great too)
Great job.
This build was awesome. I have two questions for you: what path do I need to take to learn more about how to complete installs professionally? Also, what do you think the issue may be if: when I either turn my ignition off or turn my lights off while my music is playing, the music cuts out briefly as if a power surge happens but then keeps playing. (Currently power cable to the amplifier is disconnected while this issue occurs). Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
It is indeed a surge or clipping. You need to adjust your gains and perhaps look into capacitors etc to have more stable power to your amps. Some cars have circuitry that gets picky when things cycle on and off. An experience installer will be able to figure it out and install resistors or caps where needed.
Nice job Mark
Very nice work!
Yeahhh Yeahhh Yeahh Mannn , That System Sound Boom Boom 🔥🔥🔥🤘🏼👌💪💯💯💯
I simply live this build as I am also a jetta owner
What I can hear sounds sooo clean
Otro nivel Mark!😎🔥
Thank you!
👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 You killed it! 🐐
Appreciate you brother! Thanks for watching
Think I have to go out to my work now and start mounting my setup.
I had totally forgotten how longer time this things takes. 3hours in and I have only taken my roof liner now change the antenna and put in some STP gold (vibration dampening) and made af plate for my amp. 😳
But it's okey i am not in a hurry. And i don't have all the parts i need for mounting my speakers and subwoofer enyway.
I also totally forgot how much OCD i have putting in that STP. All the logos have to be in the right place so it's looks lige one big plate 😂 and the i hid it again with behinde the roof liner and doorsides 😂
Been thinking of replacing all my factory speakers with some aftermarket ones. I also want to install a separate amp for those speakers how do I know if my aftermarket pioneer stereo has capability for two amps?
Nice work bro 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You are car magician It's really awesome 😘👍👌
any recommendations for a 05 volvo s40 T5 with standard audio, I know my head unit is fiber optic but im not sure how to wire up everything, any information would be appreciated. thanks :)
Beautiful build. I am sure that the audio quality is top notch in this SQ system. My only observation, rather apprehension, is regarding ventilation for the amps. I would surely like to build this in my car but would like to find a way to provide ventilation for the subs. My car has a 7.1 surround system.
These are quality amps with great thermal management. The space provided is more than enough.
Great job. I wish I could hear it.
Hey Mark, Do you think I should go Full active on my Focal PS165F3 (3 way) front and PS165F (Coax) back in my 2020 tacoma for a SQ build? And keep the stock head unit or get an upgrade to play high quality music?
great video as always. Can you link the video where you ran speaker wires and power wires??
Question: what’s a good head unit for a 2012 Chevy Impala LTZ with the Bose system?
Very nice
Remove the sub grills so the subs can be seen. I had a L7 facing forward and ported thru rear deck and seeing the sub adds that extra wow factor
Dire Straits - Money for nothing
There are still people with a nice taste of music ^^
🔥as usual...👍🏻
Nice build! You ever had a client that didn't like a build or had you redo stuff multiple times?
Gonna try and copy that trunk in a passat.
My car needs this type of love
i'm new to cars, trying to get into it but what's a great 1st car to buy? i want to get a car and build on it if needed but totally wanna redo the sound system
I have a kicker IQ 1000.1 amp and I have 2 alpine SWR-124d should I wire it to 2 ohm or 4 ohm to get the best sound quality
Is the turn on wire connected from the bass amp to the voice amp and then back to the radio ??
WOW! Amazing install better than OEM. 😃😃😃
Beautiful clean install mark! Maybe I missed it but how did you secure the box so it doesn’t move?
Some BIG OLE' BOLTS :)
nice!
