Sinichi and Satoshi, I know I would love Satoshi's hot noodle dish most because I love sardines. 4.3 is a solid score! I would definitely order a bowl! Too bad for you, Sinichi. 1.8 doesn't cut it. But next time at Shokudo Shichisai, you will know to skip that item! Thanks guys!

You guys must have good metabolisms. So slim. If ate all the foods you guys eat, I'd weigh 500-lbs.! Guess I could always try out to be a sumo wrestler. LOL.
Then you could review the famous Sumo Wrestler dish, Chanko Nabe. I understand there are restaurants for this. I don't know why more people don't review them!

おいしい!!! I really want to try cold and dipping ramen when I come back in November this year. Finding good ramen here in Australia is so hard to do, especially after you've tasted Japanese ramen.

I'm really interested that the dashi was made from sardines. I've genrally only seen miso or pork-bone based ramen, especially here in Australia. I have heard that there's a chicken bone based ramen in Tokyo that is really morish; maybe you can check that one out?
Grant Heino Yes there is shoyu, miso, salt, pork, chicken and fish. Then there are the combinations that mix a couple of those flavors. We did a chicken one before. It's called Paitan Ramen.
Cold ramen!? I've never seen that before. Sounds interesting to try, but based on your review, I think I'll stick to the hot noodles.

I think this is a good thing in Japan! There's more than one kind of "slippery" food. I think they don't stress this in English-language videos.

huh? huh? COLD noodles?? and it looked like ice in the bowl??? please explain - I have never heard of cold noodles (I have eaten noodles that got cold because I didn't eat them fast enough but never heard of making them cold on purpose)
Yes, cold noodles are refreshing and usually good for hot days! 😄
