Can't get enough of your videos guys! So delicious, so positive, fun and informative. I can see how much effort you guys put into these videos. Aaand I must say the outcome is amazing! I guess this is what happens when you follow your passion. A big big thumbs up!! and lots of love from Istanbul!
Loved this informative video! Coming from Hawaii, the pineapple express...it will be fun to check it out when I get to Tokyo in a couple of weeks! Arigato.
I thought 'that is weird'...then realized California is known for pineapple pizza and I love it so...I guess pineapple is versatile and can go with lots of things and taste good.
+Tem Rossi Yes exactly. The pineapple wasn't overwhelming at all and just sort of complimented the ramen. It was as if you got a slight whiff of pineapple with every bite. The only time you could taste pineapple is if you bit into one.
I recently saw the Papapapapine ramen in a drama called Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san, what a small coincidence :). Watching you two eat it in one of your movies, rather than someone in a drama though, has a more "real" feeling to it. Makes me wanna try the pineapple ramen even more badly now :).
Hi there! I really liked your video. I would like to know if you have gone back to this shop. I went there once in 2016 and I fell in LOVE with the ramen at that shop. However, I heard that the shop was closed and the owner moved to a different location. As a request, would you be willing to do an updated video of the new shop and show us foreigners how to find it? I plan on going back to Tokyo this year and definitely want to visit that ramen shop once again. I hope you can make an update video! Thank you for all the great food videos!
It's funny because if I had been walking past this place I likely wouldn't have given it a second glance because it sounds a little gimmicky. . . . BUT. . . . WOW does it look delicious. I would definitely give it a try after hearing what you guys had to say!
+KittyDoesJapan Actually we usually wouldn't go in but we found it on Tabelog and they had high ratings. Plus it was just a few stations from where we lived so we had to try. Glad we did though!
Sinichi & Satoshi, I love watching you guys eat because the dishes are always unusual to my eyes, and it always looks astoundingly delicious! This ramen place is no exception! Mmm! Pineapple infused broth and ramen! Luscious creation! I'd love to try it out! Thanks for sharing!
+Juanelo1946 Yes, the pineapples really gave the ramen a subtle yet beautiful flavor. We were equally amazed at this revelation! Thanks for watching my friend.
Poor Shinichi, he had no idea of the evil Satoshi's mockeries at the start of the video! This ramen surely looks interesting; I really can't imagine what it really tastes like. Did you two talk to the owners and asked how did they have their original idea? It would be fun if you did little interviews to the owners of the most interesting shops!
+Isos Yes I only realized that after he edited the video and it was too late! ;) We really wanted to try and talk to the owner, but he seemed so shy and uncomfortable. I have to say, that's the one "bad" thing about this place. Two weeks ago, we released a ramen video where the owner was so engaging and told us quite a lot about his ramen shop.
+TabiEats oh, that's sad, because it would have been interesting. :( By the way, I remember that ramen video! And when you went to the Nepalese restaurant you had a great chat too!
meny71 wow ok. We live in Nogata on the Seibu Shinjuku Line so it's actually kind of far. But we like to ride our bicycles all over town so we usually just bike it over there. Takes us about an 1 1/2 hour maybe. It's a nice ride on a sunny day! Yes, one day we shall plan a meetup!!! By the way, are you Japanese?
Looks so interesting! O_o Trying to imagine what it will taste like....sweet, pineapple ramen... By the way, I recently had Koka curry-flavored instant noodles. They're really good! I was gifted them from someone in Singapore, so I'm not sure where they're available. However, they're really yummy, and reviews I've seen online say the other flavors (like laksa singapura and black pepper) are good too. It's really good with an egg. If you ever see it at a mart and want instant noodles, give it a shot!
+Brittany Harmon Oh yes. We do have a few recipes that are low carb on our channel. Check out our Japanese Recipe Playlist and Healthy Recipes Playlist. We'll be sure to make more for you soon. thanks for watching!
could you make a review for halal ramen in Japan? I'd like to know how is the taste between the halal ramen and the original recipe which commonly using pork :D
yuck.lol oh well, it sounds like u can find same kinda ramen shop in Hawaii or somewhere. but i dun really wanna try it.lol. only just curiosity.lol was it really good? tho i love pineapple as itself. but cool video! love it :) 次のも楽しみにしてまあああす!
Both of you have amazing slurping skills! I need to practice that before we, or are girls excused from this appreciation ritual? Thanks for another great recommendation guys! 👍🏻
+FoodishBeauty aww thanks! It's ok. You can just watch everybody around you slurping. Watch and learn and you'll get it no problem! It took me a long time to master slurping especially since I grew up in Hawaii.
not much a fan of pineapple I think it's "okay" fruit, but will never like it cooked like Hawaiian pizza or thai pineapple fried rice or anything in savory dish.
+Axis Lexington I usually don't like pineapple in anything savory like everything you mentioned. I really despise Hawaiian Pizza. But Pineapple Ramen was really good! I think being in the heavy soup made the pineapple taste less predominant.
Watching you guys eat, is making me crave Ramen. Looks delicious and interesting! Thanks guys!!
+aroz87 Thanks for watching!
I would love to try it. Great video
+Ray Mack's Kitchen and Grill Thanks my friend. This really was good.
+のぶたか You know, it really was delicious. At first we really wen't expecting it to be good at all. Sounded gimmicky. but it really was tasty!
Pineapple and ham go well together, so having it with pork ramen definitely sounds good! I would love to try it, and that egg, wow! What a neat idea!
+bcgrote Yes you're so right. And because the broth is pork, it really matches the ramen incredibly. The egg was fantastic!
I think your correct!! Pineapple and ham on pizza also is fantastic.
I love Pineapple...I love ramen, but I can't imagine what they taste like together. It looked sooo good though.
+Thomas Santin At first it sounds like a crazy concept but wow, this was really good!
Can't get enough of your videos guys! So delicious, so positive, fun and informative. I can see how much effort you guys put into these videos. Aaand I must say the outcome is amazing! I guess this is what happens when you follow your passion. A big big thumbs up!! and lots of love from Istanbul!
+rererey aww thanks so much! And welcome to our channel Istanbul! Would love to one day visit your beautiful country.

I will definitely try this when I visit Tokyo in August

+TheZheant Wow that really is a coincidence!!! Now I feel like checking that drama out. Thanks!
I would absolutely try this. I love the combination of sweet and salty
+MNeko Oh, this was a pleasant surprise! So good and full of wonderful and interesting flavors in this bowl.

love the name....
Wow. That looks nice but it seems unusual.
+TheOnlyKevster Very unusual but it strangely works. Thanks for watching!
I'm shocked you guys liked it. Ramen is so delish with everything. LOL
+Cat Sieja Actually we were quite shocked as well! haha

+Jen Ha So yummy!
Wow, I remember you guys trying out ramen with fairy floss, but pineapple ramen??? :O
WOW, love it!! We don't have vending machines like that here. I bet that pineapple tasted great too!!!
+Cheryl K (CherylsHomeCooking) Probably 90% of ramen shops in Japan are through vending machine. Oh yes, this ramen was different but on so delicious!
Looks super tasty!!
+warisover Yes it was!
Interesting combination: Ramen and pineapple!
+Frederick König I know right? Crazy but it works!
+Sakura Spring Ohh interesting! We love Thailand by the way.
very interesting, you should try to make pi-pi-pi-pineapple soup for next video :)
+Daniel Law ahhh great idea! hehe
I love pineapple so yes I'd love to try it someday
+maikor3 in that case you would LOVE this.
very interesting n innovative concept. Just wondering, if they used ripened or green pineapples for the ramen.
+smutpow They actually used ripe pineapples. It was very good!
I want to try this egggggggggggggggg ! And sweet ramen *q*
+Renjii94 Yeah! So good!
Poor Shinichi, he had no idea of the evil Satoshi's mockeries at the start of the video!

+Isos Yes, the Nepalese restaurant owner is a friend of ours so that one was easy. :D
I would definitely like to try pineapple with ramen...that meat look so good too. Too bad you don't have the recipe... :(
+Susie LaLonde This was so tasty. Never thought pineapple would work in a savory broth.
I think it sounds like it would be very tasty!
+Nicole Romero Yes it was! We were actually very surprised as we weren't expecting to taste so good.
+TabiEats that's great! I wonder what coconut ramen would be like..hmmm
+Nicole Romero Oh. hmmm....I'm rather intrigued.
Wow it looks really interesting :) and I think I live so near you!!;) 😳
+meny71 Yes very interesting. Ohhh where do you live?
