Eyelets through the motor mount holes. Ratchet strap front to rear going under to hold it to the trailer. I'm over 60 and I can load mine into a lifted f150 one hand.
In my opinion, the Pelican Bassraider 10E is fairly light and at 55 yo, I easily lift it onto my Ford F-150...provided it is empty. With trolling motor, battery, rubber mats, seats, etc...it is more difficult...and I use a winch. This is a great boat. I set mine up with a casting deck and a swivel bar stool type seat. If using a trolling motor on the bow, a rudder is a must or the back end will keep swinging out. I'm using a small 8' x 4' landscape trailer these days to launch on ponds and lakes with a proper boat launch. If launching at an off grid pond or lake without a proper launch, I leave the casting deck at home and take a minimum of equipment. Mount some launching wheels on this boat and it is easy as pie to move it...even fully loaded.
The boat is heavier than it looks. I'm considering buying a trailer for mine just to make life a little easier at the ramp. I built the dolly for it but it's not fun pulling it up the ramp when you have it loaded down.
Thanks for your time and sharing with us. Always have a large mouth Gatorade bottle handy. When you have to go, you have to go. No shame. Great table. I just got my Bass Raider today. So mods are coming ..
I like the table - great for rigging- cutting bait lantern etc. As far as bodily functions- fish have them also. Waterfowl aren't choosy where they unload. You can contain it & dispose in trash or do as nature does.
I also installed with 3 Formed Thick sheet metals with flex seal and 3/8 size rivets. Put these on the front Transom for better Strength and sturdiness. I use a 55 Lb. Minn Kota for this. Plus I pull this boat thru grass and weeds for my next pit. And hitting a tree stump at wide open speed will never crack or break the Fiberglass and this wood /foam and the very thin metal. I've seen Two boats that almost completley cracked and lost their transom. Just for future thought.
Nice setup. That table and floor look familiar. Those look like the work of Miller Mods haha. To me that floor is a must for stability. However, I have to take it out in order to load it too. We built our table to avoid the rod mishaps... Fish on and checkout additional mods we have you like.
Looks good. It is awkward to load. Battery, motor, and chairs go on after loading and unloading for sure. Be free and pee off the boat. I have gotten a lot of use out of the Pelican in just a year. Can get into tight spaces. Even added a third chair for my son's friends. Enjoy and FISH ON!
I put put my Sundolphin 14 foot flat back canoe on my 4X8 harbor freight tilt bed trailer. I am selling my canoe, after my Pelican Bass Raider 10E gets here from Cabela's, I have a Minn Kota 55 & a EverStart Maxx Marine Battery Size 29DC. This boat will be a lot more stable then my canoe.
I saw an old man pull out a plastic golf club protector tube for peeing out of a boat. It gave him a 3 foot extension. By the way, did you hear about the two guys that were out in a boat and came across a floating bottle? They opened it and a genie popped out and said he would grant them one wish. One of the fishermen said " Turn the whole lake into beer!" The genie made it happen. Then the other fisherman said "Oh great! Now where are we going to pee?"
Did you ever resolve the weight issue? Sounds odd to me. Did you buy the boat used, or did it sit outside exposed to rain, etc.? That could cause water accumulation inside the hull. There are videos on CZcams showing various ways to get the water out.
I had very heavy cow mats in boat..probably adding at least 50 bs or more. I couldn't lift it only by one corner of the boat. Using both handles in front of it, I could.
easy to load solo. lift one end up onto the tailgate goto the other end lift push. trust me you could do it. 1 end at time not the whole thing. now how did you make the table in the middle I mean I see how but do you remember the exact length?
Problem loading your boat by your self SOLVED:: I went and had Two 10^ wide aluminum or stainless steel runners made { Like you use for a RV to ride up on ++ which tie down on your tailgate. Put strap down the tailgate opening and tie. Then attach my clip strap to front eyelets and pull the boat up as far as you want. Then go to back of boat lift up just a little with back strap and push, then turn around and push in with your hands. Total cost for both was $65.00 Very very east for this 66 year old guy with a bad back and a hell of a lot cheaper than a trailer.

you sound like Jon Gruden, great video
Not as rich..ha ha

4x8 trailer from Harbor Frieght works great. 2x4 side rails and launching and loading is a breeze. And anything can tow it.

Good luck with her

Pee bottles are my friend. But I usually don't drink in the morning then I'm good till the afternoon. When it's really hot, I sweat it out.

I would have dove in after it!
My newest rod and reel are better protected i can tell you that
And you can use 2x4s for your bunker if you use brackets to let you adjust them outward
To help not losing poles tie them down but a rope with a clamp and put a sea clamp to tie down on
Nothing wrong with taking a leak on the lake. Like your setup.
Billof Rights thanks! Your trailer Is Awesome
Did it get water inside the pontoons. That's what I heard what happens
Very small amount but there are drain plugs if you tip boat upright
Not weak. Its an awkward load. I put mine on a roof rack thing while loaded but just picking up an end is a PITA.

Fishing With Vance Still a work in progress. .I'll be adding some additional things myself. .but thanks for the ideas and the help!

You bet it will. 55# thrust on #5 will move boat great. Have fun.
@@FISHNMISFITSJimMattBryanRick I can't get it up on plane, but it scoots along fairly quick.
sounds like you have water in the pontoons...undo the two plugs in the front and pick up rear to check for water...
What kind of material did you use for the floor mat. Thanks
They are heavy cow mats from Tractor Suppy
Very cool setup!

I would need a tube 3ft 1 inch 😉
Also if you add 4’ of rollers to your trailer it will make it a dream to load
Try a heavy duty Fiberglass paddle, much lighter and stronger than a wooded paddle. Food for thought.
If you ever add an outboard engine you will be happy you have that 2’ overhang
Got that same tackle box
Looks good man

cant wait to be able to afford one myself
Nice SETUP as to your boat not moving on your trailer.....ratchet straps are you friend
Absolutely

I didn't remove the cow mat from the boat floor. That weighs another
Weigh another 50 lbs or more
I don't have measurements but I just eyeballed it. The table is snug but it can slide .
@@FISHNMISFITSJimMattBryanRickhandy table for sure. what about the rod holders on it are they pvc piping and how did you attach them?
Yes..I used a closet rod holder as base , super glued pipe and then screwed base to table
Nice video.
O and by the way, with my 10 ft, Bass Hunter I stand on the very front or back of my boat to Piss.
i have to pee is a con of the boat?
You be be absolutely true
@@FISHNMISFITSJimMattBryanRick i have to pee pee
That's what diapers are for
Add a bungee to the rod pad
What's the amount of weight your putting on it? If you don't mind me asking.
I'm 260..other fisherman on board could be 200 plus battery motor and gear..
And add a winch

Is this boat new or used? If its used how old is it?
Jimmy E bought it new...couldn't find a used one around here...
If I kicked my st croix I’d cry
No doubt..dumb things happen as I can attest to!
He only bought a pad for himself...
Matt Mehalick I have one for you...
Ned To get a peecan .
Gatorade bottle works wonders..😎
I use a laundry detergent bottle. I pull the inner spout out and it has a handle
What were your exact words after kicking the rod in the lake?
Eric Butler "was that stupid"
I hope your not a bass fisherman. Especially if you ever threw side arm or under hand.
Still haven't caught any!
Where did you get a rubber floor ?
Tractor Supply
It's a cow mat
Get a urinal like they give You in the hospital. I always keep one in My boat.
I have a laundry soap bottle. I pull out the spout.
Pee n the water lol
Thanks
