- Join along with me as I attempt to build a casting deck for my Bass Raider 10E NXT! After the build is done, Brooke and I then attempt to catch a few Bass before a dangerous thunderstorm catches us…

Looks awesome! Because I’ll be fishing alone sometimes and don’t have a trailer, was thinking of Not bolting it down, good idea?
Only because if it’s removable it’ll keep the boat. Lighter for when I’m moving it or putting it in or out of my truck

Awesome video and great looking deck. OK so how is the deck holding up? Can you feel the wood degrading at all or spongy? Contemplating going with marine grade plywood
The deck is holding up great. I built a frame underneath to keep it from warping. You can’t go wrong spending the extra money if it’s in your budget though! I would say my current set up will last as long as the carpet does

Thanks man!! I used 3 inch long stainless screws, about a 1/4 inch thick with separate trim washers

5 mph on any trolling motor is the max is does pretty good. 4.5mph mostly
It’s awesome I still want to put a 5hp motor on mine. I haven’t taken it out yet this year but more videos of the bass raider coming soon!

Just 4 screws on each corner.
