Great job on your front trolling motor mount, you created a way for other folks to mount a front mount on similar boats. Very good use of your space too. Great job !
I would definitely have to say the way that you set this up especially in regards to the wiring I mean you kept it really nice and clean. Think I’m going to do something similar to that myself.👍
Great build, Greg! I love your mods! I'm on Lay Lake in Alabama, and we just got a little Bass Tracker Bantam 2X. Fished it a week or two and the generators were kicking my 40 year old butt trying to paddle, so I recently ordered the "4½ HP" 4 cycle Cukusin/Hangkai Honda clone. Hoping I'll get a least a few miles an hour, and our lake is about 12,000 acres, so I'm starting with the gas outboard and getting a trolling motor later. Starting on a very tight budget. I'm gonna steal your low deck idea. I love it! Do you have storage or accessibility for the deck? Also love the magnet idea! That's a quick & easy mod that'll be quite handy for me. I'm also looking at a tackle rail, an original idea for custom lighting, and gotta figure out where to find the rail seats...mine can use em but didn't come with any. Thanks again! Subscribed! I'll be posting videos of my build soon. Thanks for the inspiration! 🤝
I like it!, I like it a lot! Haha. You have some great ideas!! I just bought the Pelican model and don’t really want a deck, but saw one done that’s just a little lower than others. It may be something I try out. I do like being closer to the water when bringing the fish in as well, I will be fishing for Trout, perch, Walleye and Pike. The only one I can flit into the boat really is the Perch. Nice being closer to the water when I release the fish I don’t keep for a meal. I have an old rod holder similar to yours that I will put to work on the boat for sure!! Stay safe on the water, Eh!
love it!!! I just picked up 10'2" pelican which I intend to do the mods this winter, loved your mods probably will steal some thanks for the video have a good time on the water
Wow! Very nice! Im a newbie but I just got the 10' quest angler. Wanting a fish finder but not sure the best way to set up the transducer without drilling a bunch of holes... any suggestions? 😬
I’m on a private lake, electric only, in which I’m on the rules committee. We all decided it was more than ample because of the lake size and slow speed all the boats move.
I only use back motor for longer runs (with the front one at the same time), that being said after running 15 minutes in the wind, fishing 5 hours on a middle speed on the front motor, it starts to slow down. Without wind I can fish 8 hours.
Alone its fine, its not where you can stand on one side and piss off it, put I regularly stand and throw deep crankbaits without feeling out of balance. With two people I just sit because you never know when they may move suddenly and upset the balance.

I’m getting a little 8’. This is pretty much the setup I’m looking to do! Awesome!!
Great boat set up. Easily the best small pontoon boat set up I've seen so far. Love the bow mount set up. Happy fishing in it. 👍👍👍

I love the way you set this up. I would buy it in a heart beat.
I would definitely buy it

Can you sell me your fiberglass boat? I live in lakeshore also
@@drewwilliams663sorry, I already sold it….
This is definitely one of the nicer build I have seen. How do you steer when the rear motor is on?
Fantastic Sir!!
excellent video.
this is awsome!
good video
Don’t be a sissy I like this guy bro

Might have missed it, but where's your transducer mounted
Love the build. I'm looking at something like this for my kid. Where did you get the trailer?
I bought it off FB marketplace as a normal utility trailer and converted it for this use
@@gregchupp5157 perfect, thank you!
How long does that battery last you during the day? Debating on what to get.
Great mods! What screws do you recommend for securing accessories to a plastic boat?
I used nutserts that are coarse outside so they can’t pull out and used numerous all over the boat with success.
Do you happen to have a video on how you wired your switch panel?
nice mods. How did you run power the wire for the graph back to the battery? did you fish it through the hull or just run it under the deck?
I ran it under the deck. Buy a long set of jumper cables and cut off the ends and it’s durable and cheaper than other wire.
What's the name of that 2 man bass boat in the garage?
What did you use to make the floor
Can you please tell me the battery you use and how many hours do you get out of it,
How did you hook up your transducer?
There's a market to modify kayaks like you have done to your prowler. If you are so inclined.
I want to find a way to buy them bulk (the boats) and mod and sell. It’s fun and even since this video I made more upgrades.
Where did you get your light switch control set up??
It was off eBay, about $20 I believe
What screws or bolts did you use for the plastic
Home Depot sells a threaded insert that’s metal open ended and course exterior that you predrill and hammer in. I’ve had no issues after 2 years.
So these inserts are exactly what you used for the trolling motor??
What's the outboard hp rating!
Where is your transducer mounted?
On the front motor.... I do drop shot out of this so having it under the trolling motor means under the rod tip. Works like a charm
Hey how much would you change me to do my boat like that?
Front Nav lts are illegal as they need to be visible on the beam too!

@@gregchupp5157 Well done, I thought it was going to be private. Our Game wardens are "sticklers" here, just looking out for our "safety"!
1 battery for both motors? How is it working?

@@gregchupp5157 Good stuff sir thanks, I think this boat can easily carry 2 batteries if going solo fishing.
How stable is it when standing
Alone its fine, its not where you can stand on one side and piss off it, put I regularly stand and throw deep crankbaits without feeling out of balance. With two people I just sit because you never know when they may move suddenly and upset the balance.
"Don't be a sissy"....🤣
great job
