He had 12 assists this game too, and the game before he had 42 and 12 lol. Crazy season for anybody, let alone a 34 year old
Yep...a couple of those games, he had 8-9 rebounds
I remember seeing this with homies and they wanted to give Up watching last 4 minutes. I was like nah we got Kobe it’s always a chance. He made us so happy. He literally put team on his back to get us to playoffs that year. I was expecting Lebron to do that this year after all star break and get us to where we need to be. But the mamba gave me too high of expectations. Much love KOBE. Thanks for bringing my squad closer with the wins that year
I went to sleep with 3min rest in the regulation. Still to this day it's one of my biggest regrets, especially since he passed away
Even at 34 no one could hold this man. If it wasn't for that Achilles injury he would be going for top 3 in all time scoring and still getting buckets until he's 40.
No Face He IS top 3 all time in scoring
YogiYetiz_ Simple I should have checked before posting. But damn, he probably would have passed Kareem this past season.
No Face Nah. Maybe Karl Malone, but Kareem is too far up there
The Achilles was the nail in the coffin for Kobe. Fucking sucks!
Damn. He could’ve gotten the top 2 spot for sure if he didn’t get injured.
Kobe was just carrying this laker team in the 2nd half of the season .. I mean the points that he scored in April in 2013 , just amazing .. I mean that Achilles injury was just huge for him but he did all he can to lead them into the playoffs
I watched this game live... i still get chills when I watch these highlights
wouldve been scoring leader in the nba if the achilles injury never happened
True
827 At Fuckin 34 years of age straight ridiculous in a league with KD and Melo in their primes basically
Legit one of the greatest most clutch nba games of all time
How sad is this team hadnt worked out.....
Watching this live gave me goosebumps. R.I.P 🐐
greatest game I ever got to witness in person
Clutchest performance I have ever witnessed live(never watched Tracy's 13 points in 33 seconds live) I honestly thought this game was over like completely out of the bag and he pulled this bullshit the shots he hit made absolutely no since. Kobes 2003 shots he hit on Portland were also impossible shots too
That’s the difference with Kobe and Mike too. Altho they play exactly the same. Jordan made shots that was more calculated. In Kobe, he was making impossible shots more. His mentality is far nore superior to anyone.
Let me explain something that's overlooked. The Utah Jazz needed to lose this same night along with a Lakers win in order for the Lakers to make the playoffs. The Jazz went on to lose to the Grizzlies that night so the Lakers absolutely needed to win. If Jazz lose and the Lakers lose then the Jazz get the playoff spot because of their winning record against them in the regular season. So Kobe then proceeded to do this. Clutch is an understatement. The best payer that I have ever seen with my own eyes. Amazing.
🐐
Would've been MVP this year if only his team was healthy
Tyrone From MySpace Lebron got carried by Wade that year
Shaq would not have won any of those rings without Kobe idiot Shaq been in the league since 1992 and had a superstar Tim Hardaway on his squad but he couldn't win shit, Till he played with Kobe Bryant even in 1999 when Shaq went to the Lakers Shaq got swept by The Spurs but in 2000 when Kobe became a Superstar Lakers started winning rings The Portland seires that went to game 7 it was Kobe that saved Shaq in the Sacremento 7 game series it was Kobe that saved shaq
Hamze Ahmed Anfernee Hardaway
During LeBron's best season?
Boy im about to put knowledge in that empty ass brain of yours
I actually dont understand where did the "Kobe doesn't pass" joke came from, one of my best memories of him was his passing.
This game was so incredible to watch. I just remember me and my brother going crazy watching this game.
If it wasn't for the injuries, Kobe would have 35,000+ career points
It’s amazing how Kobe managed to play 20 years despite of all the injuries he had.
That was one bad man. GOAT
If Kobe didn't get injured and played point through the playoffs we were making it to WCF easy.
Tyrone From MySpace absolutely not
Maurice S probably have lost in 7 but still not a sweep
Tyrone From MySpace they would've went to game 7 or the next round kobe was injured...
Kobe always beats the spurs they can't guard him at all
That series would have been no more then five games. That's no knock on Kobe.
please upload more of Kobe Bryant 2013 season game 😍
Kobe always destroying the raptors lol
And people have the nerve to say LeBron is better than this man.....the disrespect and ignorance is crazy.
Jalahl I respect Kobe, but you dont want to bring lebron into this. Cause lebron is still better than Kobe
YogiYetiz_ Simple uh no he's not
YogiYetiz_ Simple what you mean still better? lol Bron still gotta catch up to Kobe's greatness.
Hans Christian De La Cruz haha People always bring up LBJ'S finals record to hate on hım just appreciate greatness while he is playing we are not going to see anyone like Kobe or James
YogiYetiz_ Simple Tell me that shit when LeBron shows up in the 4th quarter.
People keep saying its sad this team didn't work out! If you guys remember correctly! After the All star break the Lakers were Gelling and arguably one of the best teams post all star break and Kobe was on a misson. No Achilles injury ? Who knows how deep we go......
Kobe is/was fkn crazy man. If you’ve actually played basketball in a 5v5 setting you’d appreciate Kobe a whole lot more. This man is the definition of Hard Work and being a professional. I love Kobe man. RIP to the forever legend 🐍
35 years old with a quick ass step SMFH what a god
The confidence this man had is crazy
One of the most CLUTCH men to ever walk this Earth! This game was UNREAL to watch live, just ridiculous!!!!!!!
Top 10 all-time legend right here.
love the throwbacks! hell yeah GD
He left everything on the court. He’s a legend.
dope vid!!!miss the goat already.his will to win is amazing.wish they could've make the playoffs and win the whole thing!!!
RIP mamba 😢
I remember this game so clearly
Bro I remember exactly where I was when this game happened. I was flying out of my chair bro
Levitate levitate levitate
same here haha. iterally screeching when he hit those clutch shots
No one in the history of basketball is hitting those three shots consecutively under those conditions.
happy 43rd birthday mamba!!!
March 2013 I saw kobe bryant master his jumper..and he returned in December his legs were gone
Kobe was carrying this team the whole season
They say that this man doesn't always pass the ball, but he was an underrated passer
The GOAT
Kobe was an underrated passer. I remember one time he fucked around got 17 assists with I wouldn’t say complete trash players just out of respect but they definitely weren’t good players. And this was when Kobe was older and pretty much done. If Prime Kobe had a Magic or Steve Nash mindset he could’ve easily averaged 23+ pts 10+ assists a game. And the entire team, yes even with the trash he had to work with after Shaq left. Which would’ve led to better team success.
This was cinema
The difficulty on most of these shots was just ridiculous
If Kobe and Dwight were healthy they could of been competitive for at least 2-3 more years
Seeing the way he was getting hit this season and how much he was playing a game, it’s not surprising that he got injured
My 3rd favorite player ever 🐐🐐
🐐
crazy to think kobe was benched in his first 3 seasons, and his last 3 seasons were injury riddled (post achilles), yet somehow, had more than 33k points. Shesshh
People will underrate Kobe all they want but if they were live and watched him play they would have so much more appreciation. The man is a legend and his basketball skill will never be matched unless you bring MJ into the convo. Kobe was a pro basketball player which is a lot to ask for these days. That man was so gifted at basketball man. The avg. casual will ridicule him but the real hoopers know Kobe & MJ are just beauty to the sport.
Nobody was ever this good this late into their career.
Until lebron this year of course. But its still bean > bron
*Lebron enters the chat*
🐐🐐🐐
🐐🐐🐐🐐
Black mamba!!!!!
Kobe had always been a raptors killer
I've been looking for this game, in full, for months. Don't know if you have it or have a source to locate it, but if you do, any help would be greatly appreciated. This was one of my favorite games and I'd kill to watch it again.
I want them 2006 lobe highlight man
2000-2004 Kobe was unguardable too man was a athletic freak of nature
Hamze Ahmed
Shaq carried him to 3 chips in that time period, Kobe had 0 Finals MVPs
NJB_ 007 sure did carry kobe like how kobe lead his team in scoring, assists, rebounds and steals
I remember this game well! I really hated the Lakers and Kobe I was just so shocked and I couldn't get mad because that was just crazy but now I don't really hate them
I don’t understand how you have Dwight, Nash, Gasol, MWP and Lamar Odom and yet barely make the playoffs. So sad for this part of Kobe’s career he could’ve gotten that 6th smh.
It was injuries and the team never really jelly together.
Nash, kobe and gasol had good chemistry. But sadly they were injured most of the time. As for dwight, he just didn’t like the culture of the lakers at that time
"You'd expect nothing less"
4:36 "perfect"
i will never forgive Howard for ruining Kobe and the Lakers. I feel sorry for teams that take this overrated dead weight. Look at the Rockets now, they let Howard go and now they're strong af.
how is a dude who avg 27-6-6 46% in his 17th season not a top 5 player all time? what did Jordan even do his 13th season? oh let me guess "he was gettin old" no nigga he took endless years off resting his body
How could anybody dare hate on his great play. I guess since nobody will ever be at Jordan's level, Kobe the closest to ever be, kids nowadays got an excuse for everything so they say lebron or any new hyped player is better than Kobe. SMH lol
Him and lebron are the two best players to ever touch a basketball
Kobe needed Nash to be a scorer this season. If Nash focused on dropping 20 ppg instead of his regular, get everyone involved, style of play... Lakers make the playoffs and Kobe probably never injures his Achilles
Imagine if Phil Jackson I there Coach I think this lakers superteam will champion.
put some respek on his name dammit!
no reason Kobe had to do all of this with Howard on the team. Dwight is to blame for Kobe achilles injury.
5:47 the foul howard committing yet have got away with while holding gay's jersey in the paint. i think one could only set a pick for the offensive player driving to the rim but not grabbing your opponent's jersey
kobes knees crying for help
KOBE > KLAY FEELINGS
.
LARRIORS AND BRONSEXUALS EXPOSED W
Wow
And they still think that trash bron is better hahahaha kobe all day dude
show his highlights against the nets when he dunked on 2 people
Lol and people say lebron is more clutch than kobe! Dont give me stats bullshit! Stats dont say it all! Tell me if lebron can even do these kinds of shit! Being clutch is when u could step up to help your team when your team is down, now thats clutch! Like kb24 goat!!!
but lebron still better right ?
LeVar Strange no he never was
KD is a better scorer than this shot chucker, fact
