This video gives me some ease after the tragedy because I see that he lived his life doing what he was passionate about. Not many people do that in their lifetime.
First watched this on the plane coming home from Iraq after my first 15 month deployment. I swear I forgot I was on a plane for over 15 hours. That mamba mentality was so valuable in the infantry. His lessons that were put into action will always be apart of me and my family! RIP 24 • 8 • 2
You know when I heard the news, I cried and said the Lord's prayer. Gave me comfort in that moment. I'm glad this documentary was made. Year's ago, I had a newspaper clipping of Kobe after scoring 61 in the garden at my work desk. I thought, "this is Kobe doin work". I never realized how much I loved him being alive. RIP to those that died 26Jan2020.

He's knowledge of basketball..just wow. Can't believe people dont want to play with him. He's always teaching. Maybe they think Kobe is "Mr. Know it all" truth is, he does know a lot.
Long post: I had a great ball career from 12-20 yrs old, then fell off until last year. 13 years away from the game. Joined church league basketball and had 2 very solid games. Then last weekend, I went 1-6, with two airballs. I couldn't remember where to be and how to move on the court. I watched the first quarter of this on the treadmill at my gym this morning. Very helpful. I love learning from this guy and the commentary is an added bonus. Going to focus on pickup ball for a while, and forcing myself to positions I need to be, not just ending up somewhere on the floor. If turnovers happen, at least they will happen during useful improvements to my game. Have a great year, everyone
As a life long Boston Celtic fan, I naturally had a strong dislike for Kobe ( especially after beating us in the finals) This Doc, made me respect Kobe, & realize exactly how good & smart he was as a player. All NBA fans should check this out. RIP Kobe

One of the few athletes who became a Legend before he even passed. Now the Legend of The Black Mamba will be even more Epic. This is rough! Much love from Philly KB
Even though I think Kobe pushed himself too far and caused some of his injuries that occurred when he was older, I do miss seeing that mentality in the NBA. I'd rather watch someone push themselves to make two free throws even after rupturing their achilles than miss out a game because of "load management".
Kobe Doin Work, is my favorite videos. I love to see Kobe at his best "Doin Work" he was so energetic. He never stopped until he had accomplished his goals. He's so much fun to watch, when he is playing or practicing basketball. He reminds me of the energetized rabbit, always on the go. That's Kobe! RIP Kobe, RIP. You will always be One in a Million.
5:27 I'm a Spurs fan and I love that Kobe gave Manu some respect. I used to hate Kobe as a player because of how good he was. He was definitely a streak scorer. I admired Kobe after he retired and I realized how intelligent he was. #RIPMamba
Very difficult to comprehend that he’s no longer with us. A true legend one of the greatest to ever do it, probably the most skilled basketball player of all time. Rest In Peace legend
Watching the Lakers offense now is like watching chaos at the highest degree. Lebron dribbling the ball at the top of the key while everyone else stands around watching. It was such a treat to watch the triangle offense as it was being executed. There was constant movement, screens, players flashing, and guys cutting to the hole. You just don't see this kind of sophistication within the Lakers offense now.
Never had a chance to meet Kobe, but I truly feel like I lost a member of my family. I'm still sick over this. RIH Kobe & Gianna and the other victims that perished in this tragedy.
I used to hate Kobe growing up, but it all changed after I watched this documentary by Spike Lee. My perspective on Kobe was totally different after watching this. He was a genius and a coach on the court. He was so technically sound. Paid attention to every detail. Even when I watched his “ Signature Moves “. Kobe was always 3-4 steps ahead of whoever was guarding him. To me, Kobe was the “ Most Skilled “ Player in NBA history. Even more skilled than Jordan IMO
100 percent. people dont view him like this but the fact that he stuck with the Lakers in some low low years without getting hurt or leaving or forcing some sort of scenario. Kobe didnt say shit usually against the Lakers even if he had Smush Luke Walton and donuts. Kobe can carry a shit team and make it look professional. You cant even buy that type of player branding. he'll drop 80 and kill a franchise in one game.....wtf

I literally just realized that this game was on April 13, 2008
Exactly 8 years later he scored 60 points in his last game
My birthday. And he had that crazy game against the Warriors where he led the comeback then tore his Achilles April 12, 2012.
Nyke E *2013 and yeah exactly
Right
Exactly 5 years before tearing his achilles :(
Kobe was the only person to come close to wilt into scoring over 79 points in a game
