Statistics matter. We can pretend they don't, but the number of shots you miss does matter. Efficiency wise, LeBron has the 2nd highest PER in NBA history...Kobe is 59th all-time. LeBron James has 4 MVPs while Kobe has 1. And I like watching fadeaways just as much as anyone, but Kobe really did miss way too many shots and was sort of a ball-hog. LeBron's game is much more versatile too, like his ability to pass and play point forward. A freak of nature with major basketball IQ, that's why he's so effective.
^if statistics matter so much then lets say westbrook finishes his career averaging something along the lines of 27 ppg 9 rpg and 9 apg 1.5 stl and 0.9 blk but lets say he only wins 1 ring. Will Westbrook be an all time better player then Lebron? He must be because his statistics are better right?
