The guy's name is David Gilmour. One of the greatest guitarists of all time. He's also the vocalist here. "Time" from this album is another masterpiece. Doing the whole album is the way to go. All songs fade into one another creating an amazing conceptual flow. 👍

...and Breathe, and Us and Them, and.... Pretty much anything David Gilmour plays. It's been said that David Gilmour doesn't use an amplifier... He plugs his guitar straight into your soul!

Money is in 7/4 time and is a standard blues chord format of I, IV, V. Just truly amazing.🎶 and really should be full album only. Get in your car go to a freeway, drive as fast as possible and play On the Run at II 🔈

I'm 59 was about 14 when I first heard this the two bands with the deepest lyrics on the planet PINK FLOYD AND KANSAS.
Zepp are my Favourite (ping)... but Floyd is up there, great album.

I was listening to you that album back in 1974 and have never gotten tired of it.
One of the few songs on Dark Side of The Moon that works well on it's own. No confusion about the subject matter.

pink floyd are a british national treasure !
The reason why the guitar solo is swinging so much all of a sudden is because the song's time signature changes to a regular 4/4 at that point. After it, it returns to 7/8.

Point of order...Vibrato is usually what the guitarist/instrumentalist is doing to/with the instrument itself whereas Tremelo is usually the name for the effect heard on the guitar provided by the amp or specialized effects pedal. I'm 99.99% sure that a "Tremelo" effect is what is heard on Money. Stay safe...Be well...
The traditional distinction is that vibrato is a varying pitch and tremolo is a varying volume.
Is there anything DJ hasnt liked yet? I am sure you could play him the sound of a motorsaw and he would consider it a masterpiece.
