This song doesn't get the respect it deserves. It has great lyrics, sax, , drums, bass and that solo Gilmour just kills!
This song was released as a single in 1973 and only got to number 13 in the US charts which is ridiculous for such an amazing song.

Took this song for granted as a kid. Hearing it a thousand times on the radio. Genius level and that sax is serious.
In the music video “another brick in the wall” where the boy is made fun of by the teacher by reading his poem aloud to the class, it was actually the lyrics to the song “Money.”

It's funny to me that the sound of a cash register ringing up a sale is now old-school. How many young people have ever actually heard the sound of a cash register opening, ringing up and opening? I'm pretty sure my kids have never heard it. They only know handing a card over. But they know this song!
