    I need some help here on choosing a tractor,, I have a BX now and I love the little beast, but I need to go a bit larger. I stopped by the dealer quickly for a bit and they had both a B2601 and 2650 on the floor the 2650 had a cab. WHile I would love a cab my orchard would clean it off in a heard beat so Im going with a ROPS,, please give me a comparison between the 2. You know the good the bad and the ugly about them both though I dont think theres any ugly. So tell me please

      I believe it does have a dome light. Its on a switch, not tied to opening the door like your car would be.

    What's the PTO horse power in the 2650 and the 3350? Then reason I ask is because I have 2320 and the horse power on the rear is 22.2 horse.

  • @robertpowers7856
    @robertpowers7856 Před 4 lety +1

    Lots of bashing on the B3350, emissions and regen problems, Ive had my B3350 for 4 years, winter or summer ive never had a problem, its a tough tractor that punches above its weight class. It is made to run hard, throttle to 2200 and do your thing, get it hot and run it hard, you wont have dpf problems, when the regen light comes on keep working it and let it do its thing, sometimes regen light comes on when you are done with your task, throttle to 2200, put tractor in neutral, set parking break and walk away, done in 20 minutes.

    What do you recommend from Kubota that I can have a belly mower and use a 6 foot brush cutter? We have about 14 acres to brush hog, right now we have a Kubota BX2370 and the 4 foot cutter would take way to long so we are looking to get a bigger Kubota but still want the 60 inch belly mower. Or do you think the B2650 with a 5 foot brush cutter be ok? Thanks Ken

    Is there a physical reason the larger (19.5) R4 tire package is not offered on the cab tractor? I know the mid mount mower won’t fit & you need the steering stop but it would seem they should fit unless there is some cab structure interference?

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  Před 5 lety

      I'm with you that they should fit. I would worry about making it more top heavy

  • @masonb4582
    @masonb4582 Před 6 lety

    How is the mid mount mower controlled height wise. I'm very new to these tractors and trying to weigh my options between brands. The JD 2025r that I looked at seems to be the most comparable to the b2650. The JD has an electronic system to raise the mower separate from the 3 pt control. How does this work with the Kubota? Thanks.

    • @jacksonk5308
      @jacksonk5308 Před 6 lety

      I believe that the mower deck lifts with the three point hitch on the Kubota machines, but I own a B2301, not a B2650 or B3350. If you want to do a lot of dirt work with the three point hitch while you have the deck on then you want the Deere, but honestly, even with the deck up you lose a lot of ground clearance and risk harming the mower deck. I don’t recommend doing anything other than mowing while the mower deck is installed. Personally, I like the Deere machines but in my opinion it’s not really worth paying an extra 2-3 thousand dollars for green and yellow paint. Good luck, I hope you find the tractor you’re looking for sir.

    • @94Gidge
      @94Gidge Před 6 lety

      The electric lift system on the deeres is a common failure point

    • @andysworld2188
      @andysworld2188 Před 6 lety

      For the B2650 the mower is a ground following deck and is not suspended under the machine while mowing like B2601 or BX uses. So you adjust the height of your gage wheels to set your mowing height.

    My local Kubota Dealer told me the DPF system on the B3350 has issues, do you know if they are fixing this?

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  Před 7 lety +5

      Out of the gate, it had a lot of issues running a regen in cold weather. At this point, we can say fairly confidently they got things resolved. We're now well into February basically trouble free. In my opinion, the measure of a company is how they stand by their products when this kind of stuff happens, and Kubota did not run away or deny there was a problem.

    What do you mean " The cab includes either heat or air"? You can't have AC for the summer that will also blow warm air in the winter?

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  Před 6 lety +1

      +xplmr1 correct. Mechanically heat and a/c are two different systems. Your car is the same way.

    • @xplmr1
      @xplmr1 Před 6 lety

      Messick Farm Equipment, I understand the separate mechanical systems required for heat and air but can I purchase a cab with both heat and AC or are you stuck with "either heat or air"? My "car" has both. I use AC when its hot out and heat when it's cold out. You make it sound like I have to choose an AC cab or Heated cab when purchasing the tractor. Is that the case? It appears in other videos that the temp knob/dial goes from red to blue. Your wording has me perplexed at 1:05.

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  Před 6 lety +1

      +xplmr1 yes, you install both. I would look at a B2650 if you need that.

    I am going to buy a B2601 soon and I was wondering if you have heard or know if you can increase the hydraulic pressure by adding shims. I have watched videos of the BX 25D where shims have been added to increase the hydraulic pressure. Thank you

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  Před 7 lety

    Why do some B Series models have the loader controls on the right fender and some have the loader controls coming out from under the seat? Is it the difference between the B2650 vs. B3350 or the difference between the B2650/B3350 vs. B3350SU?

      Amu Batal i have had my 2015 b3350 for 4 years, snowblow in any weather and as low as -20, plug block heater in for 2 hrs, good to go, Summer time i mow 8 hours every week i have had O problems, when i get 2 bars on engine temp i taker her to 2100 to 2200 rpm and it stays there till im done, then a cool down. Stop the bashing ,your repeating what someone else said. Anyone looking for a excellent 33 hp tractor will not regret buying this tractor which punches above its weight class.
