What I have recently noticed missing from all car reviews is night driving. How good the lights are is key to many rural drivers. You used to be able to recognize them by the driving lights mounted on anything from a little 'matchbox car' to a big SUV decked out for winching up mountains. Now driving lights are a thing of the past, this factor is even more critical to summing up how well the vehicle suits my area.

I have a 2003 Outback and love it! I will stay with Subaru because of the quality of the vehicle.

We bought the 2021 Forester Touring as the Outback was just a bit larger than we need (our kids are grown). So far, we thoroughly enjoy the car and the many safety and comfort features. Love the all wheel drive system, the large moonroof which is standard, adaptive cruise control, etc. Many thoughtful little features throughout the car.

I'm just in the process of buying a 2021 subaru outback sport. You did a really good review. One of the best I've seen. But perhaps it would be beneficial to show the cargo space with the rear seats down. Then it has huge storage space.

I didn’t even know you could buy 1 litre Gatorade bottles. Who buys those?
It’s a shame you can’t get a Liberty in Australia anymore, sedans are much nicer to own than SUVs.

Rear seat head rest looks like a Battle Droid from Clone Wars :)

This is the sports trim right?
How are the water repellent seats?

Here in the U.K. we have the choice of the 2.0 e-boxer engine in other Subaru models or this 2.5 - having driven the Forester and the XV with the e-boxer the 2.5 is far, far better!!
