It is no surprise that Manchester United need a new striker. Plus they could do with depth in midfield. However, they have other questions that need answering before they go in search of a new number nine. Namely, what budget do they have, and what age profile are they looking for?
Jon Mackenzie explores a few options open to the Red Devils.

I miss the old format, multiple suggestions with stats to back up the suggestion for each position depending on style and budget, or even the club profile. Usually lesser known quantities. I mean I could have done a video saying Kane and De Jong, it's just not as interesting as it once was
Interesting comment. I have found that there has been less data focus and more tactic board analysis recently
Also neither Kane nor De Jong are gettable options.
Agreed
@@jaminjoben5097because it takes less effort - research, preparation, work on animation and editing. With the board, a random expert and talk about it and save 70% production cost. This doesn't even need a crew, the camera can operate on it's own, you stand and blabber.
But the fact is that they never bought any of those players. So what's the point. Might as well discuss players who they are actually likely to consider buying.
Ibrahim Sangaré is still only 25. He's still a shout after all these years
Fr
He is african, avoid at all cost
@@isaiahgere9283🤨
@@shashank9638 AFCON I think
Sangare luckily didn’t perform for psv at all.
Always love Tifo videos so this needs to be said: previous sensible transfers videos were a lot better than this. Used more statistics, offered more options and thought about whether those players would be available in reality. It's true that any striker will help the team but only giving one midfield option that's realistic is disappointing.
Also thought the point around budgetary restraint, age and trade offs was pretty obvious and didn’t need to be made. Should have one ‘dream’ option, ‘squad building’ and ‘realistic’
so like squawka used to make
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Agreed. I prefer the previous Sensible Transfers editions.
I was a bit disappointed with that too.
Enjoy Tifo and your videos but I do think the previous format was better.
agree - though prob much more time&cost effective to use this format. but it is a shame.
The best aspects of the previous format were the visuals for player profile, along with visuals for the stats to back up their choices.
Since I'm 90% sure they filmed most of the sensible transfers already, adding these visuals to the videos might be possible still.
Once you go corporate (bought by The Athletic, who was bought by the New York Times), mass production is the new mandate.
Their old videos were such a joy to watch and listen to, but the bosses don't care because it wasn't scalable enough 😑🙄😞
No matter what’s happening in the world, we can always bank on a Manchester United sensible transfers video every time a new transfer window opens
And almost certainly bank on united not making any of these transfers
United do well --> look to improve --> overspend on a few players in summer --> fail to meet expectations --> "rebuild needed" --> repeat
@mightymoeish It's usually nothing until the end of July, then they start throwing money to everyone.
And because the team is often quite insensible, there's always the need
You can also bank on the fact that we’re signing none of the suggested players. Can’t remember if we’ve even signed one of their suggestions.
Was expecting a something a bit more substantial from Tifo here. The old format would have explored 3+ players for each of the three major positions that Man Utd need to invest in: Striker, Midfielder and GK (if we're following the old format for the options: Guaranteed success, Long-term prospect and Wild Card). We'd have got statistics backing up each of the options and a valuation of the player, this'd be able to put ourselves better in the shoes of the Recruitment team and come to our own conclusions.
seriously. What a terrible video. Osihmen, Kane, De Jong? Searing insight....
This was informative but I'd second the view that previous Tifo sensible transfers had a better format
Saying Kane would be a more budget friendly option is kinda funny, cause Levy will ask for crazy money. Maybe he'd be a bit less than what Osimhen would cost but by no means cheap.. Only way to get Kane for cheap is to wait a year
Kane will not be cheap in a year he will be free...
@@The_Reality_Filter Haha, guys, there is no such thing as "free". High profile "free agents" get insane signing bonuses, sometimes equivalent to a transfer fee. Yes, not as much, but not a sum which goes anywhere near the word "free". Only the air you breathe is free. For now.
@@hristiyanhristov2480No contract = No transfer fee. Which bit of that don't you understand? Example: Christian Erikson joined Man Utd on a FREE transfer...
Same as saying he will decline quickly, as an Arsenal fan i hate to say it, but he's a top professional and 29, not 33, i can see him be at a top, top level at least another 3-4 years. Also his game isn't necessarily relaying on pace alone, so it won't be declining so fast.
Levy is an odd person.
This didn't feel like Tifo was avoiding conjecture and attempting to find cost effective signings
Im pretty disappointed in this video. We got one sensible transfer and Cámara has 4 years on his deal still so still only vaguely sensible.
No mention of Goalkeeping?
Extremely little insight to be found here considering the recommendations of Osimhen, Kane and De Jong.
Yeah their older format is better.
dudes talking about "age" problems the whole vid when bruno fernandes has been in his prime since 3 years BEFORE he arrived and apparently "turning 29 next season" is a red flag lmao wot?..... then he randomly points to some players like "mmm this guys 28....this guys 30.....this guys 31.......this guys 27....this guys 27.............?????? bro casemiro is 4 years older than MARTIAL whos 27. and thats just 1 teams starting lineup....... this dude want them to buy an orphanage???????
Have not been impressed with John's content at all. The main reason I don't watch tifo any longer.
@@hooksx yet here you are.
Frenkie wont move, Kane will be too expensive. No mention of Mount who is the most likely player to sign as of yet. Expected more conversation actually transfer related
Probably because Mount wouldn't be a sensible transfer.
they literally said at the start of the video that they weren’t gonna take rumours and conjecture into consideration.
@@TeddiahWatkins I disagree tbh (assuming the fee is right, which is unlikely for UTD). He solves a problem of having so many left-side preferring players, with Eriksen/Bruno/
Rash/Martial/Sancho/Garnacho all favouring the left side or Central-Left. Would provide quality depth for both Bruno and Eriksen, is versatile and a very good player with regularly being incredibly creative and hard working and was Chelsea POTS twice back to back. The main concern for me is just the fee, given how incompetent UTD are at doing transfers, we'll end up paying 65m and 300k p/w on him.
@spkra fine but at least suggest more striker options other than two (albeit excellent) players who we will definitely not sign
@@zaidaslam7676 Especially when someone like Taremi is available for around 20-30m, perfect kind of guy to buy in for 3 years while we also get someone younger like Orban behind him to iron out the deficiencies in his game. Rather than 2 guys who cost over 100m and 150m respectively when neither are worth that atm, doesn't sound sensible to me. Same with Frenkie who is very clearly not wanting to join.
The fact that Harry Kane is considered the cheaper options, despite costing over £100 million is crazy.
When he said "budget option" I nearly fell off my chair
the cheaper option probably by not letting ronaldo go 😂
Nobody is gonna pay 100m for him, they will just wait and get him in January for cheap or on a free next season.
Look at the alternatives lol, Hojlund is 60-80m, there are rumors about ollie watkins but you can bet villa would slap him with 80m price tag. Lol
At least, I think the realistic alternative is Atalanta's Rasmus Højlund.
The player himself strongly wants Manchester United, and there is also the advantage that the price is cheaper than Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane.
But he's a young player just making his professional debut, and he may not adapt well to the Premier League, so betting big on such a young player might be a gamble.
United do well --> look to improve --> overspend on a few players in summer --> fail to meet expectations --> "rebuild needed" --> repeat
“We got top 4 it was a great season”
MU won carabao cup with player like dalot lindelof, fred, mctominay, weghorst is more respectable than win treble with superteam oil money
@@tukiran3953 it’s impressive but not more than the treble come on bro Man U spent just as much let’s not act naive
Tito: Here are some sensible transfers
Also Tifo: 3 of the 4 suggestions are too expensive/old.
I love Tifo videos, but this is a bit of a weird one. Surely the sensible solutions here are to look to get decent players that can fill both spots mentioned, rather than the ‘you can only get one cause they’re all too expensive’.
For example, Marcus Thurman could be perfect, not because he’s as good as Kane/Osimhen, but because he’s decent, but also available on a free, and therefore cheap, helping with the budget restrictions.
Weird one because Jon struggles to say anything positive about United as a Leeds fan
Marcus Thuram is my # 2 striker if Rashford plays up top next season, he would still play a lot due Sancho being a mess mentally and Garnacho being young and perhaps not being ready to start every match yet.
I liked the previous animated format better than this new set-up! Though, the recommended I find the sensible transfers recommended in this video questionable as well, which adds as an argument. I'm from the Netherlands and every stumble Frenkie de Jong has, is widely analyzed by every football related media provider here. So, here's my view on this sensible transfer: It will 100% not happen. Last summer it was Frenkie de Jong's decision to stay at Barca eventhough they did everything within their power to try to make him leave. De Jong had an incredible season and is officially Busquets successor. Thus, providing a video on 'sensible' transfers and discussing Frenkie de Jong as an option shows lack of research and is a bit lazy. I'm not an expert but why is Caicedo not an option?
This is a different channel than the animation one
Probably an option but expensive and lacking offensively from what EtH want's from an 8.
Love the Tifo videos but it would be great if you had a more detailed and in-depth video for sensible transfers. A longer video with all the options that would fit the team, realistic options and with in-depth analysis would be great.
Video starts at 6:00
I hope we get a sensible transfer series for teams in france, italy and Germany.
The hopes and prayers of subscribers are being returned to sender atm
Which teams in France?
PSG? Germany had a two horse race this year.
@@markant9534 LOSC, RCL, OL, OM, Rennes, AS Monaco. The chasing tier that does most of the development.
Why would an English channel make a video on a declining league that when the Saudi's overtake them it will be the worlds 7th best league, of course im talking about the French.
Allow me to share Jon’s conclusion: Frenkie De Jong and Harry Kane would be a budget-constrained, sensible window.
Right…
Kane is the perfect Ten Hag style forward, he can do everything, he can drop deep and exploit Rashord`s pace with his fantastic passing range.
Exactly Thuram is also a fantastic option he holds up play, very physical and he’s a free agent that’s a true sensible transfer
We've seen it as well in their national match , but sadly I don't think we'll be getting Kane for cheap
This feels more weighted to being another Man U squad analysis rather than a sensible transfers video, though I appreciate context of what is needed is necessary. Would still expect more than 3 suggestions across a 13 minute video.
Well said
newcastle sensible transfer would be interesting!! A lot of different ways they could improve the team for being competitive next season
I hate that 27, 28, 29 is considered old. Kane isnt gonna suddenly decline in 2 years. Utd just had a 37yo' bang in 18 goals only a season ago.
That 37 year old guy was no ordinary football player
@@Trouble_90210neither is Harry Kane
I could still see Casemiro playing at a top level in 3 years times.
Wan Bissaka had a great season tbh
Why is Butland listed as a GK option? He was on loan? If we're including loanees, where are Sabitzer and Weghorst? 😅
Would love to see a Sensible Transfers for the Man City rebuild if they lose 5-6 players this summer. We know about Kovacic for Gundogan and Gvaridol for Laporte, but I’m curious what to do with two fullbacks and maybe 2 RW’s potentially leaving the club! Replacing utility player Bernardo seems particularly tough
Good analogy However earlier there were more players analysed for every per position and each position used to be a video on its fourth , so I do miss the part where TIfo used to do it more detailed :(. Budget cuts?
I like Sergej Milenkovic Savic for that 8 position, yes going short term and budget, he is just elite and would give areal and physical dominance as well as carrying while being strong defensively. Plus at end of contract next year and rumors are he will just cost 35 million. Expected some goalkeeper options as well as that is the second most important position.
Congratulations, in three sentences you just provided more insight than this thirteen minute video. It's sad to see how far Tifo has fallen.
I'm not sure about his mobility next to casemiro. I'd prefer rabiot, but I wouldn't be mad.
I like how you explained budget limitations with a visual
Great video - they made fewer player suggestions but offered more analysis around squad building, age profile, and budgets. Nice balance.
Waited so long for this video! Appreciate everyone over at Tifo, Thank you for genuine content!!
Video of fantasies…
Jack butland doesn’t play for them anymore he went to rangers a few weeks ago 😊
Kane is unaquirable, but hypothetically, if we did buy him this window, he'd end his 4th season with us at 33 so his age profile isn't that bad. I disagree that Kane would require bringing in a backup this exact window, but Osimhen wouldn't. Also not sure Osimhen fits the hold up requirement, he's more of a Vardy style poacher who's good in the air
Oshimen is not a Vardy type striker. I mean, he does like to get in behind, and he is a poacher, but not like in the Vardy mode. He is stronger and better against deep-sitting defences than Vardy ever was. His hold up play is also better than you think, he bullies defenders really well and has really good movement in the box. To compare his to Vardy is to take into account only his speed and finishing (plus heading you mentioned), and yet ignore everything else about his game.
You couldn't be more wrong about Osimhen. There is a difference about hold and link up play. Osimhen might be the best holp up No.9 in Europe atm. You can pinge the ball long to him however you want to do it and he's going to bring it down or move it to another player. He's an elite outlet and is stronger than any defender. It's his link up play that lets him down at times due to his technical deficencies but he's not involved as much in open play so it's not a disadvantage.
As for Kane, he'll turn 30 before the start of next season. You don't see players perform at their best beyond 32/33 in PL, especially No.9s so he'S not worth the fuss this summer. It'd be different next summer when he's available on a free.
There are some very cheap youngsters/ free agents out there for backup striker if you sell Martial (last contract season) it would definitely be needed. Gift Orban has a 17 Mil release clause and Thuram is free. And yeah Osimhen lacks the link up. He is more a Chelsea striker plus Drogba is his idol.
Forget any Unreal fantasies on V.Osimhen,Kim Min Jae and any more Napoli players that M.United, new owners or not, will never get!
Osimhen is not moving to M. United as any Napoli players!
Very surprising that the player sales part of transfers isn't discussed here. A very important lever on which both budgetary and age profile levers are heavily dependent upon!!
Bro, corporate life got you too huh? I also can't talk without using words like lever and leverage anymore XD
@@kozhikkaalan 😂
Love how Frenkie is mentioned yet he’s a Barcelona fan since he was young and yes he played under ETH, but surely more options for both positions
One of my favorite series on yt
Great analysis in retrospect
I agree. The most pressing issue is the nº9, then a replacement for Erikson and then a keeper. They need to spend 60 million at least in Diogo Costa if they want a keeper that plays amanzingly with his feet and is solid between the post.
Or
They can stick with De Gea and just, you know, give the ball away.
One month later.
Erikssen replacement (payed more thandeal with barca was for de jong) in Mount. De Gea didnt get renewed, and Onana braught in (for quite a chunk of money too). Young number 9 in Højlund (for quite a bit of cash). And defensive, midfielder in Amrabat incomming aparently.
Spendings will be close to 200 mill pounds. So far sales are only 25 mill pounds.
And some quality has been found in the acadamy (Mainoo is the future).
would love to see more of comparison for the strikers, like which one would work better with rashford and antony on the wings, is osimhen the better option, or kane is because of his playmaking/long passing abilities. Or should united go for more of dribbly forward like kolo muani or ramos
A very vague and premature video. The same video would be easier to make after the bidding process is over and the new / next season's owner is announced.
There's a guy who's been playing well in the Prem that would be a really good, cheap replacement for De Gea. He's only 26, an international, highly rated, supports Man Utd and is a target for a number of clubs. He's called Dean Henderson.
This is one of the best parts if summer!
I'm surprised no one's mentioned Folarin Balogun. He just turned 22 and scored 22 goals while on loan with Reims. Not only that, he profiles very closely with both Kane and Osimhen, from a study done by the Athletic:
"1. Balogun’s maximum score for shot volume and high rating for receptions in the opposition box are indications he is a classic No 9. He can play on the last line of defense and is happy to take the majority of his team’s shots.
2. His strong scores for xG from shot creation and xG from ball progression show that he was a dependable goalscorer last season. He takes good shots, and he’s good at getting onto the ball in dangerous areas in the box. It is reasonable to assume he can repeat that in the next one if given a good run of games.
3. His above-average score for carry and dribble volume indicates that, like Osimhen, Balogun can run with the ball and create chances for himself through his pace and intelligence. He can be dangerous on the counter-attack and when running behind defenses.
4. His score for ball recoveries shows us this is a striker who is a willing participant in a team-wide pressing scheme. Balogun is not an Osimhen-style presser, but when Reims looked to win the ball back high up the field, he was good at snatching possession away from the opposition centre-backs.
Balogun is at an age where his game is still developing but is working on his weaknesses at an impressive rate. At the start of last season, he was primarily tasked with running into space behind defenders and being a counter-attacking threat. However, as the year unfolded, he showed a willingness to drop deeper, play with his back to goal and pass the ball on for team-mates - as Kane does."
By signing him, we take him away from a dangerous rival (Arsenal) and we get both a classic number 9 and a Kane-style striker that can drop deep to link play. And he's only estimated to cost between £30-50m, so even cheaper than Hojlund.
well done as always
I miss the old format, that way i would've know much more players and teams to keep an eye on
Liking the new format honestly - it's way more important to future performance how a club thinks about squad planning than how they think about IDing the perfect spot in the depth chart imo.
Think the GK spot should've been given more attention though - De Gea is such a liability for them
Thought there might be a bit more insight than Kane, Osimhen and De Jong, to be honest. We're not likely to sign any of those as it stands, so Camera the only interesting suggestion to come out of this for me. Would have been nice to cover all of United's requirements this summer as well (GK and CB also needed).
was waiting for this one
The way Jon says 'number 9' at 3:47 reminds me of Dumbledore in the PC game of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Good video as always lads.
YES!!! MY FAVOURITE SERIES IS BACK!!
8:25 "when he is suspended" Very cheeky Jon, really going to bat for Rodri there 😅
Working Jon to the bone. If it weren’t for those Eagles and the ring comment I’d say he’s due a raise
glad to have found another podcast listener who was just as bothered about that
Agreed
Camara/sangare, horjlund, Kim min jae, onana with ward prowse taken too as cover.
Mctomonay, de gea, martial, maguire, sancho all out. That would be solid business.
Could you make a video on sensible transfers for Everton?
I had been waiting for this since long 😢
Looking forward to the Arsenal video and what you guys have to say about Havertz
The striker is the most need in the entire squad so totally understand the direction this video went with.
Our priority should be a gk... We can't score goals if we dont have possession right? To do that we need to build from the back... So we need a gk ASAP
Good video, though it's a shame they focussed on De Jong and Kane as we are clearly not gna sign them
If you read the list of players United are keeping on we haven’t kept on DDG or martial as of yet so I assume this was made before that was released?
I miss old videos where there was voice over to animation. Bring back those videos
Great video, i think 4 years of Kane allows United to build the rest of the team over the period, leaving his replacement as the final piece, hopefully also helping them to settle in nicely with a coherent structure around them
Just the simple matter of getting Kane out of Tottenham then
i'd feel that firmino can do this role of a 9 in this team, opening spaces to de wings attack the spaces
It feels like the basis of Sensible Transfers has changed over the past couple of years, which has been interesting... Before with Alex on the podcast it used to be a place to show interesting and alternative solutions to a clubs squad bulding. Now, its become this thing where we point out the best solutions, which is quite an obvious thing to point out. And what I mean by that is that the majority of the options that are looked at in these videos are just options that the media have pointed out and then we get a slight analysis of why this is the case.
Like how on earth is Victor Osimhen being considered a "sensible transfer", whats sensible about it other than his ability. genuinely feels so lazy.
Tifo used to be a channel where it felt they were pointing out things we couldnt see, now its just the same thing every summer, trying to pass off a clubs top targets as "sensible transfers". like you have just spent 12:58 minutes telling me stuff I see every single day.
They spent the first half of the video talking about budget restrictions and age profile to then go on and suggest Osihmen, a player would cost €150m wiping out all our budget. Then as the “cheaper option” Kane who would still cost bear 100m and is 30….
And the analysis for it was so basic as well, really disappointing
Beautiful 💯
Daniel Levy just spat his tea when you suggested Kane might be cheap
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SERIES LETS GOOO
The previous format was much better along with a greater emphasis on the data and finding cost effective alternatives. Kane and De Jong is what a random twitter user could have told me.
Where can you get those shirt printouts?
I think a GK, CM and ST would already be a great window for United.
Kim Min Jae would have been amazing too.. seeing as Varane still gets injured a lil often and he had a relatively low release clause.
Onana/Costa hopefully.
Lavia/Caicedo would have been great. But doubt United can or will get them. I think Rabiot on a free would be a decent short term solution.
Hojlund/Ferguson would probably be significantly cheaper than Kane or Osimhen.. and while definitely not at their level yet, would probably already be a better option than Martial.
Maybe Thuram or Kolo Muani would be easily better than Martial too. 😅
Kovar, mengi, fernandez,Mainoo ,amad, mcneil(Thats a GK,CB,WB,CDM,CAM,ST)....as bench ...so spend all on a starting ST...and CM...maybe GK if de gea leaves...those kids are ready like garnacho showed us
In a nice way this video didn’t feel like something you guys wanted to make.
It felt very much like you were told ‘do something Man United and transfer related’.
You’re all creative, intelligent guys, don’t let yourself be drowned in quantity.
I hope they heard us. The old format was waaay better, Kane is not a cheaper option, and Frenkie won't leave Barcelona.
Ibrahim Sangaré ! ;)
There is probably not a worse time to go shopping for a striker than now. Real, Bayer and, to a lesser extent, Chelsea are desperate for a starting striker. Barcelona, luckily, have no money, but their striker is 35 y.o. in a month (so they should look into a young talent to replace him in the future). Kane could be available but at a high price, but if any other team gets him, that means Spurs will also be looking for a starting striker and fresh with money. And then there's PSG, who is always out for one, especially now that Messi is out and they want to keep Mbappe happy playing as an inverted LW. It's a very tough market.
Unfortunately we are not going to compete any signings this transfer window
Where can I buy those wall prints?
Please do a Napoli,Bayern, Milan sensible transfers
Here we take a look at all the players united should sign but never will
I would have liked Lee Kang-in, who currently has a strong link with Paris Saint-Germain as a replacement for Eriksen, to come to Manchester United.
I was very happy when there were rumors that he was coming to Manchester United. He can release the pressure and carry the ball in the central area that Eriksen can't.
It is the same as embodying Ten hag's persona, Frankie de yong.
He can also play on the right wing when Antony is out of shape.
However, due to the acquisition problem, it is regrettable that even the striker, which is the most needed position, cannot bid.
The Glazers should be thankful they weren't assassinated by Manchester United fans.
Not the best video from Tifo. Sensible Transfers used to be about introducing fans to players they may not have watched/ heard about.
Literally all of the forward options are all unrealistic for this summer, and strikers who every fan is familiar. Camara was a decent shout, but I'd have liked to see another midfield option mentioned, as well.
United are also in desperate need of a GK. How this wasn't given any air time is strange. RB and CB are also potential areas in which we could improve/ need back up.
If United had put that 80 mill from maguire into a Kane deal the last 2-3 seasons would have been a different story. We have needed a goal scorer for years. Last season we relied on rashford and the season before Bruno was having to do everything
definitely, united never replaced lukaku properly, instead they brought in cavani and then ronaldo as stop gap measures
Where is the Podcast?!!
First chance I’ve seen to finally bring up goncalo ramos. I truly believe he is the best bet for ten haags plan
I think that Manchester united will have to adjust to their budget and Monaco is a great option to look for players in general League 1
Not sure if we get both De Jong and Kane...but boy ..De Jong is ultra elite in how evasive and tackle resistant he can be ..maybe a young striker that is not Kane + De Jong
Technical midfielders in their physical prime please
Why is nobody talking about Enesyri. He would be a perfect fit for Manchester United, who are looking for a reliable and consistent No.9. He would complement Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho who can provide him with quality service and create chances for him. He would also add depth and competition to the squad as he can play in different positions and systems. Enesyri is a recognized goalscorer at the highest level, with experience in European competitions and international tournaments. He's still young and has room for improvement, so he would be a smart and valuable signing for Manchester United. Not to mention the fact that he presses a lot, perfect for ten hag.
I’d love to see spurs try that formation, might concede less goals if we have 8 defender at the back + 6 in midfield …
I think presenting 27-29 years old players as old is a bit harsh. Sure, if you have a 5 year plan, they can turn a bit old by then but for the coming seasons, they are at perfect shape.
Can you cover more teams not just the top 6 every year
These vids are gems. Do Bayern Munich also.
Jonathan David fits the bill for both age and budgetary profiles
My favourite series on this channel. Looking forward to more of these!
not sure what to say when you have 6,-8,-9-10 on the wall but skipped the legendairy nr 7 of United worn by countless legends more than just a little fishy to me.
A press resistant ball carrying Midfielder with high pass completion rate and good defensive reading plus work rate is much needed at United right now. de Jong is obviously perfect for that role but a good alternative could be Koné who's been linked to Liverpool. He ticks all those boxes above, can fill in for either Eriksen or Casemiro and is only 22 years old, also should cost somewhere around the €45-55 Million mark.
Milenkovic Savis contract also runs out next season and is rumored to be going for 35 million. Yes more short term however proven elite player.
@@Hyde_Hill Doesn't fit the profile mentioned above though.
@@AdamT-mv3ok Press resistant check, ball carrying check, pass completion less but he does more through balls/risky passed which is good as Casimero can do the safe ones, defensive reading also good (harder to judge due to Lazio tactics but he is strong defensively when asked to do it). Very high work rate. Yes he does it differently then De Jong but he also offers more in other areas. So he fits that profile enough while also giving more offensively and aerially and a lot cheaper.
@@Hyde_Hill Nah he's not that press resistant, he can be little clumsy in possession but with the occasional flash of brilliance, a bit like Pogba. Pass completion is in the mid 70s which is Bruno territory, of course that's because he tries to create chances which requires high risk but then we already have Bruno to do that and Casemiro is also someone who likes to try difficult passes. What we need is some composure and retention in Midfield which is not exactly Milinkovic-Savic's game, he's best given an advanced role where he's free to take risks.
Unlike other strikers on this list, Kane is very fit and doesn’t depend on his speed to score. He’s a very intelligent player who knows how to read the game and be exactly where he needs to score. Yea he’s 29, but I can see him playing at 35 and skill being a play maker or scorer.
Also has recurring ankle problems
Man I missed this series
My odd take is that Man U should sign Ivan Toney. Out and out striker who has just scored 20 in the Prem, that should be going a bit cheaper because of his suspension. You'll need a short term option for the first half of the season, however it will be a signing that sorts the position for them for the next 4 or 5 years.
Not shitting on Jon, he did a great job, but the previous style of doing Sensible Transfer from Tifo (non-IRL) was better.
What about GK and Def?
