Disclaimer: This modification will void your warranty with Ariel Rider. Of course, you can confirm this with them first, but I've seen this mentioned in the Facebook Group several times. Also, I am not responsible for any damage you cause to your bike. I have made these modifications several times, so I am familiar with the process. If this is your first time doing this, get help from someone you know. My video will give you more thorough instructions though, so if you feel comfortable doing this upgrade, have at it. Just remember, working with Lithium Ion batteries is dangerous, if you don't know what you are doing.

Just broke 450 miles with my Kepler. Went dual batteries at 180 miles. Now a want a motorcycle again… will eventually have an electric motorcycle… the bike is great!

With this battery blender is it a 30amp or 60amp. I seen the DATEx2 has two different options. I’m gonna have two 52v 20ah batteries.

Hey guys, a question here, should i buy a "Dual Battery Discharge Converter", with higher amperage than my bike controller or, vice versa?
Because, actually i have no ideia about it, I've opened the bike controller to check it out but, everything that are saying on the device is LCO4818C1H-TS23 and 48v!

You could unplug the battery you didn’t want to use on the blender, but that’s kind of defeating its purpose. Why would you want to do that?
What is that product called they advertise on tv for sealing cracks and you gutters and roof? Flex Seal? Something like that you could spray in the box to tighten up seams for water leaks maybe.. Or just get a rain cover than will go on over the box 👍
Yeah a rain cover might be the easiest. I’ll experiment a bit to see what I come up with.

Would love to do this with an XP
I did it to mine and have videos--it makes the ebike way better.I also added a 1000 watt front hub motor with the battery so not only can i go 35 mph if I need to--i probably easily have 100 mile range.I have a massive 48 20 ah battery in a bag on the back and a 48 14 ah built into the frame that came with it.I rode 3 days and wa at a little over 75 miles and had half the battery left on the 14 and 3/4 still left on the 20.
Is there a HUGE advantage to adding a 2nd battery over just carrying an extra battery and just swapping them as needed?
Yes, you can travel further, and maintain the top speed longer.

No
I think it would be a great idea. Some portable flexible panels are being built these day and they are easy to carry.

No, I’m in Missouri. I did write a whole guide on how to do it. It’s pretty basic.
What is the benefit of wiring two batteries together vs just buying a extra battery and carrying it with you?
You’ll be able to keep it at the top speed for a longer period of time.

I think just a second battery is what I will do one day. Maybe the batteries will be under $500 one day or we can find a clone battery after a few months.
Found one on upp that looks identical to the Kepler. I carefully inspected the charging port and it looks the same. R012 52V 16AH BMS30A LG3200mAh cells e-bike battery for 0-1000W motor with 2A charger. $400. I’m thinking about it.

If adding a battery voids the warranty is it worth the risk?
I can’t answer that question for you. That is up to you to decide.

The bike is heavy enough as it is, what did that add to it? Its enough of a workout to get it on the rack lol
Maybe 50 lbs. I don’t use a rack.
I’m debating on buying a second battery of do what you did and run another parallel on my Aventure.
I'm not sure how the Aventure's wiring is, but I'm sure it's similar enough.

From what I was reading all it said was the fusion so I tapped on that and then all the different types poped up.My thought was the 50a duality wires was the one but I'm not sure that's why I was asking. Please let me know because what you did to your kepler is asome.Doubleing the range and this is just what I need to do. It would help me out so much because five years ago I got in a bad motorcycle wreck and lost my left leg so now it's a little bit harder to get to where I'm would like to with a prosetick leg.
