Quanto é
A child's dream come true. At last, I'm the only kid on the block who has one. The hybrid can move through town & up trails. It is fun to imagine the roving now.
This was very informative, I've had mine for a few months. Was looking to add some goodies. Thank you.
Excellent video Randy. Very thorough and informative. Although I recently bought a Jetson Bolt Pro, I'm getting more into wanting a well built class 3 ebike that would best fit me, feel more comfortable, and be something that I would enjoy using every day. Watching your videos gives me that enthusiasm!
I love the Bolt Pro! So much fun for such a great price!
The Kepler is amazing. I enjoy riding it every time I get a chance. It’s got a rear flat right now, so I had to put it on the back burner for a bit, but it’ll be back on the channel soon!
Great job on the accessories video....informative and awesome for what you have done so far too the Kepler and sharing too make our Keplers better in appearance and safety!
Thank you!
Freaking a man . I’m basically gonna buy all those accessories now lol . Great video . That intro , was awesome with all those moving graphics .. good job Randy
Thanks!
It looks SHARP!! Given me ideas!!
Love the stickers Bro 😎
Awesome bike. Thanks for your knowledge and inputs Randy.
If you want a set, just fill out the form and I’ll send you some…

Those strips alone added HP 😂
Do you think you could ever turn the Kepler into a grizzly ? Dual 1000 watt motors using the Grizzly electronics? Someone needs to do it! 🤔
You can do anything you want, but I would be cautious.
Great job Randy bike looks amazing 👍👍
Thanks!
thanks for the video and info
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the great thumb throttle. I got it two days after ordering. It's very secure with a great design which ensures zero slippage (it tightens) when its pushed down... very nice.
Great to hear! I hope you enjoy it!
Where can I get thumb throttle?
@@jonvaden5397 decod3d.com/ebike
@@RandyRideshe appears to be out of them completely. Got anybody else? Thanks.
Very nice I'm thinking of getting one very soon
Love your videos, thanks for making them. What is the dimension of the stock seat post? I want to order a suspension post before my bike gets here. Guess I'll be busy for the next hour looking at all these accessories you have listed! Cool!
30.4mm - You’ll need a shim. I have both listed here on my Amazon shop: shop.randyrides.com
Yeah I'd luv to see tips on installing the ShockStop seatpost. My first E-bike, a Kepler is arriving tomorrow. Wo hoo! Have the seatpost & seat ready to install. Been enjoying all of your vids!
I'll work on that the next time I change seats.
Great video. What brand seat are you riding on? Thanks
Man such a great video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much!
Great video, very informative. I’ll be curious to hear if the speedsters further improved your range (assuming they did) and by how much.
If I can keep my hand off the throttle, I’d probably get way better range! 😂
I added the reflective rim tape only I used the black reflective tape on black rims. Works great. Super stealth in the daylight. Bright at night.
I don’t really like to be stealthy on my e-bikes. 🤷🏼♂️
I like the water bottle setup. Did you drill holes in your bike frame to attach the mount?
Hey Randy, great video. What app are you using for your speed test? Did you make any adjustments on the tire diameter or circumference to get an accurate reading?
I also use an app called Speedometer. It's free, but the pro version, which allows you to save your rides and gives you more options. I did not change any setting on the bike yet, but I will be. It was a 2" difference in circumfrance.
Damn it! you got me, I just ordered the exact bike you have! It says expected delivery date is end of october, how accurate is this? Will I be waiting forever?
Question, for the REDSHIFT SHOCKSTOP SUSPENSION SEATPOST, What size are you using? 27.2 x 350mm? Does it require a Seatpost shim, 27.2 to 30.4mm? I don't have my bike yet so I cant see myself. Thanks for the video!
Yes, exactly that. I have links to the shim I used in the description. Make sure to use my link for the seatpost as well, as I’ll get credit for the sale! 👍🏻
Just ordered mine and one for my wife last night...Gonna surprise her! Got the gray one for me and the blue step through one for her. Just subscribed and will definitely be using your affiliate links. I see that you had a quick release on the front tire, but didn't see any mention of that on the video or your links...did I miss that? Or does it come with that? Look forward to seeing more videos. Best overview and discussion about this bike I've seen here on CZcams. Thanks Randy!
Hello Randy, what is the diameter of the seat post for the Kepler? I have one coming and I would like to get a suspension seat before it arrives.
Thank you much.
The link to the seat post and shin are in the description. You’ll have to adapt the suspension seat post to the Kepler, so you’ll need a shim as they seat post is a smaller diameter.
i'm new too all of this online stuff, tomorrow i'm going to look at my local bike shop ,too see what kind of e-bikes they have in stock. l have been resurching,, the e-bikes and i'm leaning on ariel rider bikes specificantly. the keplar, the x something, and the grizzly,i'm thinking about starting a delivery service, and am going to be getting all my electricity via solar. now i have read something about the bearings wearing out early, on the motors of these bikes. have you heard any thing about bad bearings?
I have to say my favorite accessory is probably the seat & seatpost combination, followed by the vee speedsters. How is the handling on wet and gravel with those tires?
There will be more videos about the Speedsters soon, so stay tuned!
Hey weird question Randy but can you pull off the reflective tape that came with the cst tires if you don't like the look or is it permanent
No I believe it's permanent
Very nice bike looks awesome. I want to get a surron
You should! I think that's a lot of people's goal.
Hi Randy, you think Kepler will come up with a V3 version...dual batteries?
I have no idea, but if I do, I will share a video! Make sure you’re subscribed. 😉
I think the 26x3.50 size was a good choice for your Speedsters. The Speedsters usually get most of the attention because of the cool name but Vee Tire also has another great pavement tire called the Zigzag. It is quieter than Speedster and does well on wet pavement. When you wear out the Speedsters the Zigzags might be worth a try.
I have Zig Zags on another bike. I love them both!
I swapped to Duro “Beach Bum”. 26”x3”. Contrary to the name they are a street tire. Recommended psi is 15-36 psi I’m running them at 24 psi bike became very nimble and light on its “feet” and quiet to the extreme. Tread resembles tires used on sport bikes.
Hey Randy, I got the Redshift post but the diameter is smaller than the stock post, is there a spacer that you installed?
You’ll need a shim. 27.2 ID / 30.4 OD

Randy what's the inside diameter of the handlebar? Need to know for mirror purchase. Thanks.
I can tell you with certainty that the Hafny and Meachow mirrors work with the Kepler. I'll have to measure it as a later time, as I'm not my way out the door.
I have been torn between the grizzly because of it's extra motor but don't like the style. This has a bigger stance and better style and with the extra battery mod and accessories it looks great and almost half the price. Have you done any off roading with this and does just the one motor pull you up hills with pedal assist. Thanks for the videos
It is great for off-road, with the stock tires of course. And it can climb almost any hill, without pedal assist.
Veetirico's web site only lists 26 x 3.5 size, are those the right size for the Kepler or do we need 26x4?
26 x 3.5 work. Tubes might need to be changed. I’m still testing this out. I’ll put out an update soon if I have to change mine for any reason.
What would a extra battery and the xt60 and all that together to make it dual battery what would you say I be looking at price wise about 800$ for all
Everything you need is listed in this blog I wrote: blog.randyrides.com/ebikes/ariel-rider-kepler-dual-battery-install/
Is there a way to remove the rear rack on the Kepler and reposition the tail light on the fender? I can't seem to find anywhere to buy an adaptor to be able to remove the rack (due to extra weight) and put the tail light on the fender instead. Any ideas?
I’ve seen people remove it, but put it right back on because of how convenient it is to have a rear rack. I’m not sure how they attached the light to the fender, but they did manage to mount it on the fender some how.
@@RandyRides Hi Randy, the only TWO reasons I want to remove the rack is because because unless you are 6'5" or have a 30" inseam, the only way to get on the bike is to swing your leg over the back, or hold all 80# down to swing your leg over. Not easy if you are 5'2". The rack just ads more of an obstacle to deal with. I wish AR was more descriptive on their website that you need to be 5'6" or have a 30" inseam in order to use the Kepler step through/low step safely. What I need is the RAD step through frame with all the strength and power of the Kepler motor/battery to get up hills where I live, and the long battery life.

Randy where did you get that wheel reflective tape? It looks awesome and safe…thanks!
Everything is in the description
Where is the description?
You didn't really show the tread pattern but we can look at those online. Yep, sounds less knobby on pavement 😁. Maybe not the best on wet grass or going up grassy slopes. Have to see 👍
I did at the end - czcams.com/video/9ylfl0amdgI/video.htmlm14s
Also, a close up photo is on the groups.
Excellent
Thanks!
Nice bike ever
not a fan of the kepler but its great to see AR put out another successful bike..35mph is impressive especially at the price point, great video
It is very impressive! I love AR! 🥰
@manasseh I'm not a fan of AR's 20" wheel models. They suck at peddling & look more like mopeds than E-Bikes. Not the Kepler though. I've seen a couple of different owners reach 40mph on theirs.
@@SmokeyTreats I’ve been over 40 on mine. Hit 40 in my first video.
@@SmokeyTreats was it GPS verified? hard to believe that if im being honest
@@manasseh7 Yes you could see the GPS screen, think it even hit 41 for a fraction of a second.
I think it looks great. Its a personal taste however you want to design your bike. Some people are just closed minded and its a fact of life.
Randy are you selling your old tires? Thanks 🙏🏼
No. Keeping them as spares.
Hello Randy and great video. I wanted to ask you about the ShockStop Red Shift seat post. I was on their site and saw that it was $160 and that is fine since it will only help the Kepler's ride quality. I see that the diameter for the seat post is 27.2 mm and I take it that the seat tube on the Kepler is also 27.2 mm?
No for it to work, you will need a shim for the Kepler.
@@RandyRides Hello Randy and thank you for responding. I didn't want to bother you again so I went and combed through your videos to see if you mention the Redshift seat post installation but I couldn't find anything on the topic. I have the same Kepler that you have and if it wouldn't be to much trouble I would like to ask you for the link of the exact shim that you used. Thank you in advance, Richard

@@RandyRides Thank you so much, Randy!
I think I like the seat and seat post upgrade the best, not impresses with the spoke straws or rim tape.
How many rolls of tape to do the wheels?
I didn’t use rolls of tape. This comes in a package. The link is in my Amazon Shop (link in description).
great video....where can i get these accessories?

Is this bike legal because in the United States isn't the Max speed and wattage of the motor 28 mph and 750 W?
Not to be pedantic, but the diameter isn't 2" less but rather the roll-out. 😁
Yeah 🤷🏼♂️ Kinda had a lot going on if you couldn’t tell… I’m a one man show. 👍🏻
@@RandyRides Heh, no worries!
What About The Shocks
What about them?
I know you don't care what other folks say, but way too many accessories. Spoke bling are they reflective?
I understand that. I just like to show off products more than anything. People can do what they want. I personally wouldn’t do all of this on my own ebike. I’m working towards having one of those some day! 😂 I work with most of these companies to show off their products. A lot of them are really well made and I like to promote good products. 👍🏻
What? I can't believe you would allow red color tape on the inside of your rims. Lol I want to see the video of you changing that to the blue color theme of the rest of the bike. Hahahahaha I just love the blue color theme. Peace
Huh?
Obviously feel free not to answer this, but what is your height/weight roughly? I've been eyeing this bike for awhile, people say it's massive but then I find out they're like 5'7 so it's hard to judge. Would I be cramped up at 6'2 220lbs?
I’m 6’2” 240 and I fit perfectly on the step-thru and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It makes this bike so much easier to get on and off for a lot of people, including myself. Don’t hesitate. Lots of happy customers in the community.
@@RandyRides awesome, thanks for the quick reply.
@@StoryoftheYear16 You caught me at a good time! 😂 👍🏻
I THOUGHT TYPE 3 OVER 20 MPH WAS ILLEGAL ON THE STREETS HOW IS EVERY ONE GETTING AWAY WITH BOMBING AROUND BRAGGING HOW FAST THEY GO WE ALL HAVE A SPEED FOR NEED BUT I WANT ONE FOR HUNTING AND HEARD THERE NOT ALLOWED ON STATE LAND EITHER WHAT GIVES
If you're mad about ebikes, then you should probably find something else to do other than watching or commenting on ebike videos. 🤷♂
U need a full helmet for that ebike. That bicycle helmet will not protect your face man. Full helmet Randy ⛑️ 🪖 👌
I have about 10 helmets my man
