  • In today's video, I compare the Veetireco Speedsters to the stock CST BFT's road noise on the Kepler. I also demostrate how to remove/repair the rear wheel, tire, and tube. Did FlatOut patch the hole?

    Flat Out is great, but always carry an onboard air pump for the air pressure loss that happens before the Flat Out seals so you can keep on keeping on😁

      Yes. I keep one with me almost every ride.

    Great video Randy, thnx for such detailed step by step guide. I did put some flat out on the tires. Question how many PSI did use? A month ago when I did the flat out I did some research for our 26×4 tires and it recommended 30PSI but I kept mine at 19PSI, they felt like they were gonna blow on my face... lol I LOVE YOUR RIDE VIDEOS APPRECIATE AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND KNOWLEDGE. STAY SAFE!!! HAVE A GOOD THANKSGIVINGS DAY!!!

    I put slime in my tires, the rear tire exploded when I was riding it. The bead actually was torn from the rest of the tire.
    Never seen that in all my years of riding and this was the first time I used a product like slime.

    I know there is some rolling resistance on CST.. I never thought they ever were loud or made any disconcerting sound when coasting without any motor going at below 25 mph. I don't go over 25 much ever.

    • @RandyRides
      @RandyRides  Před rokem +1

      There is a huge difference in road noise and rolling resistance between the two, in person.

      @@RandyRides do you think you gain any MPH from having less rolling resistance from the vee tire?

    I need some flat out for next season.. Hope I never need it but I want to apply some anyway

    The only thing that makes me hesitant to buy the Kepler is the motor is really loud. They should have just used better quality gears instead of wrapping both sides of the gears with metal

      Nothing compares to the value you get of the Kepler.

      I don't think it's that loud, personally. Quieter is always better, but it definitely wouldn't stop me from buying the bike again.

      These motors are using straight nylon gears. Their early batches were using metal sandwich. Noise is still there. You're only option is left with direct drives and some mid drive systems. Those will end up more costly than the kepler.

    Is flat out light weight? Good how to video 👍

    If you left the CST tires on you would never have gotten that flat I think 😁

      Naw, that metal piece was sharp. Plus, I don’t drive down the highway often. 😉
