T-22 is the tier 5 tech tree German destroyer in World of Warships.The German torpedo boat T22 was one of fifteen Type 39 torpedo boats built for the Kriegsmarine during World War II. Completed in early 1942, the ship was transferred to France later that year where she escorted blockade runners and Axis submarines through the Bay of Biscay. T22 also laid minefields in the English Channel in mid-1943. She participated in the Battle of Sept-Îles, where she crippled a British destroyer, and the Battle of the Bay of Biscay later that year. This multipurpose ship was capable of performing a wide range of tasks, from escorting capital ships, to carrying out reconnaissance operations. In the German Navy, she was officially classified as a "fleet destroyer". The ship boasted a powerful torpedo armament, but her artillery armament was relatively weak. The T-22 is a step away from her predecessors and a transition to the hybrid gunboat and torpedo-spamming style of the higher tiered German destroyers. The frontal torpedo tubes from the previous German destroyers are gone from the T-22 and she has not yet acquired the powerful guns that allow her to become a good hybrid gun and torpedo boat. She does gain the hydroacoustic Search consumable that the German destroyer line is known for, though. These factors make the T-22 seemingly the low point of the German destroyer line, but this does not mean that the T-22 is a bad ship. She is a tricky ship to handle, but if played correctly she will reap great rewards. With the most recent buff to the German destroyers whole line of line with the increased armor penetration of High Explosive shells the line feels invigorated and a very nice experience to once again play again unlike the first time which proved quite challenging.

Hello and welcome once again everyone todays video features the tier 5 t-22, I've been replaying the german dd line quite a bit recently due to buff to the lines he penetration and I'm not dissappointed.
Please ignore the WIP overlay I just happened to be testing some of the test ships and forgot to remove the overlay from live play. This match turned into a very nice fight showing how well t-22 can perform even when uptiered and outnumbered. I hope you all enjoy the video and let me know in the comments what you think and until the next time keep sailing it like you stole it o7

The T-22 is a really nice fun Destroyer after the buffs. The hydroaccoustic search and the buffed hydro duration are really good.
Yep, there have been some ships but these ships played like bots OR they underestimated the threat .on this side. I have to play
the T-22 much more :-) Thank you for uploading the CZcams video which is as usual packed with a lot of information and explanations.

I am late to this video because I rarely play DD. But I was just in a battle with a T-22 who was absolutely terrible. After the battle I saw he only had 59 battles, so I wrote to him and suggested he watch this video.

The most frustrating thing about this game has always been the bad BB players. Easiest ship to play in game, but they just suck the life out of the game when they play like your BBs did. They never understand that help the most by killing cruisers.

Nice game, glad you are having fun with the German DD's.. I pretty much stopped playing DD's because of the CV's. Often there are two in a game, as I believe I told you that before. The CV's make it hard to even get where you are going, and then it's not fun anymore to play DD's because of the CV's. The DD's as you know lack armor and most have poor AA. So I've gone back to cruisers, even though I liked playing DD's the best + I play less now. I wish you smooth sailing and thumbs up on your video.
Excellent replay, as usual. The Crab Boat is much more effective and competitive now that she carries hydro. 09:15: AP against the broadside Skåne may have been more effective.

Despite having worked for a summer on a trawler the same realisation has just hit me aswell lol

Might made a full german dd tech tree line guide starting from this
I've covered a few of the ships in recent weeks after the buff to HE and in preparation for the Z-35 just to really familiarise myself again with the line. I'll probably try and get to the ones I've missed in the coming days and weeks.

Just when you thought weekend games were over, you get a match of people throwing themselves in to the enemy teams lap, had a game yesterday with a yamato bow tanking half the enemy team and died very quickly, like, do people think "I'M A BB, I CAN TANK EVERYTHING HA HA HA HA HA!!" can there be a mechanic where you ship grows arms and you just strangle their ship, would be nice tbh. besides that, you held that side really well, even after the 2 people decided to suicide, that hood deserved a good facepalm with a brick aswell :P
P.S. gonna need something strong to drink after that match

ya alot of waiting and waiting when all you want to do is shot something. i got the haida for the dd twitches but theres a fine line between aggressive and dead
My stats in this thing are prety atrocious.. Then again I played her without a ten point skipper, and before the recent torpedo module.
Kind of tempted to get her back with both and see if that solves the issue..

Its odd how camo makes even the ugliest ships look decent. The T-22 is the ugliest ship in the game, in my opinion, but with camo it looks okish.
5:46 no matter what platform I play this on there is always people doing this it's stupid stay with the group help defend and attack the objective use your ship the way it was meant to be used. But nobody ever does. Each ship has a purpose and when you abuse it's purpose you die and make your team lose. My edit this happens almost every game I'm in btw it sucks and the pay to win ass clowns are also too much touch premiums what happened to grinding instead of using your mom's money
U and me would've been the only ones on that side the game I just played like 4 minutes ago was exactly like this me and one other teammate were on the right side while the whole rest of the team was huddling the left side and we both died but not after I was the last one alive
