Museum quality, simply exceptional work, piece after piece. Watching you do your thing lifts my spirits, I mean that sincerely. You’re an A-1 role _model_ for everyone in this hobby!
@@howardcobb4354 Not to mention my terrible eyesight lacking the precise depth perception for all those fits to poles... so glad somebody can do it though.
Only when you have worked with PE can you appreciate all the hard work you have put in off camera. I get stressed just using it on Aircraft Cockpits!! Absolutely amazing, your work is amazing and thank you for sharing it with everyone 👏👏👏👏 Jase 🇬🇧
This is amazing,i used to build airfix models ,planes ships, but mine looked shite, like some blind guy built them, glue everywhere painted with a brush ,this detail and attention is amazing, bravo my friend, this is a true model maker.👏👏👏👏
Personally I like the longer videos where you show more of the assembly. As someone who just recently started getting into PE..it helps me watching your channel. Love your work!!!
Isn't it amazing how easy an expert makes it look, the parts all fit perfectly, the paint goes on effortlessly, the sea flows around the hull so well you can hear it. I do not know which is best, watching the build or looking at the finished model.
What a fantastic build! You really bring these kits to life. I also enjoy the weathering sections, and adding the crew bring so much more life to the model.
👌😎👍Very cool and very nicely greatly wonderfully well done and executed in every detail way shape and format provided on a very fabulously spectacularly awesome beautiful build indeed Sir!.
She looks beautiful , love the camo scheme , you have made a fine job of building and painting . ( the little "eyebrows" you are sticking above the portholes( scuttles .) are called rigols .)
👌😎👍 Very cool and very nicely greatly wonderfully executed in every detail way shape and format provided on a very fabulously spectacularly awesome beautiful build indeed Sir!.
Ahhh I've spent the last 7 months making the sister ship, HMS Norfolk. I still need to do most of the PE and rigging but there's too many distractions. Maybe this video will inspire me to finish it. Amazing build.
Running from Mers El Kebir disaster... Sad fate for a beautiful ship. Edit. Sorry. The Strasbourg escaped successfully from Mers el Kebir. Not the Dunkerque who was hit 4 times by HMS Hood (4 381 mm shells!) and succeeded to beach on the other side of Mers El Kebir to prevent from being sunk.
I cannot tell you how impressed I am with your work. Would it be possible for you to add comments to for example this video like what glue you use or the colors that you’re painting the various pieces so that others could replicate it? Do you generally use one brand of paint or several? The Rigging that you use, what size is it? It would be great if you did instructional videos. Thank you so very much and I have been in awe while watching this video
Beautiful work. I always enjoy your videos. I would love to see you tackle 2 ships. A350th 7SS Hornet with B25s on it. And a 350th Ise with the flight deck. Just tossing the.out there llol
Your skill is exceeding your talent. The Royal navy would be proud of how you built their ship. Perhaps the modern Akizuki class destroyer maybe next, or how about a Tribal class destroyer, like HMCS Haida, which is preserved in Hamilton, Ontario Canada, (my country), or the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78)? Really, marvelous. Take care, and all the best.
This is super cool to see the figures at work! Amazing build! Definitelly there is a lot to learn form you in terms of skill and how to add QUALITY to models. Also you have the best technique for the sea :) It's a pleasuer watching mastery at play! :)
Thanks so much for sharing this build!! Simply incredible, I've rarely seen model making of this quality at this scale and I'm extremely impressed with your careful handling of the parts, particularly the pe pieces. May I ask which type of adhesive was used as the finish is flawless.
Simply fantastic! What skills and patience you have. I would love to be able to do this but I don't have the skills....or cash! Please may I ask two questions? How long did it take? .....and what was the total cost of the kit, the etching parts and the personnel? Thanks for a motivating video.....
You are a perfectionist, so I hope you don't mind if I point out a ship at anchor flies a black ball shape from the main yard. I checked WW II photos of naval ships at anchor to make sure the rule was in place, and it was.
I came across your channel by accident and am glad I did. Wonderful work. Only question I have relates to her Commissioning Pennant? Or did I miss it? Wonderful work
Hi. Cool build! You've made beautiful replica. thank you for sharing especially i would notice work with color itself and different kinds of weathering approaches may i ask a qustion? hope you dont mind Could you please name paints (manufacturer, cat no) which have been used? I mean for main camoflage thank you
Absolutely stunning! All that PE adds so much detail, but it would break me😅. The clay you use, is it air drying? I tried some awhile back and it kept cracking whilst drying.
I cant comprehend how much time and patience building ship models requires. Just WOW
Museum quality, simply exceptional work, piece after piece. Watching you do your thing lifts my spirits, I mean that sincerely. You’re an A-1 role _model_ for everyone in this hobby!
Is no one going to point out the uniform inaccuracies ?
Just kidding. Absolutely masterful model.
Am i the only one holding my breath while watching delicate photo etch work ?
You're not - it makes me stressed just imagining my trembling figures trying to do that.
@@howardcobb4354 Not to mention my terrible eyesight lacking the precise depth perception for all those fits to poles... so glad somebody can do it though.
no
I only wish my hands were steady enough not to bugger things up.
Another master class from the best ship modeler on CZcams. Simply stunning work.
This is absolutely astonishing. One of the best builds I have ever, ever seen. Just magnificent!
I love the understated elegance of RN Cruisers of this era.
Supurb Build!
I love the whole ascetic of your videos!🙂

Another beautiful build! Favorite things: all the photo etch work, the masts, and the orgy of masking tape removal.
Amazing model. I find ship modelling so difficult and stressful. Watching you on another hand makes is so relaxing and makes it look almost easy.
Isn't it amazing how easy an expert makes it look, the parts all fit perfectly, the paint goes on effortlessly, the sea flows around the hull so well you can hear it. I do not know which is best, watching the build or looking at the finished model.
I think this is the top level of ship modelling, you're skills are great.

Not forgetting the amount of work and patience not shown here required to build up the Brass PE before attaching it. Amazing Stuff!
Another masterpiece, simply stunning. The camouflage pattern and weathering are especially striking. Well done indeed👏
Always had a soft spot for the county class, beautiful work!
