That was my first thought too, and I’m Swedish. Then I remembered its a brand that probably has warehouses or stores in other countries since its quite well known. Still made me feel kinda silly for a hot second.
As a german, the cow sign was a dead giveaway for me that it had to be switzerland or austria. Germany doesn't really have mountains like this, only in bavaria but "Almrind" is a type pf cow usually found in austria or switzerland.
If you ever encounter a cow sign in nature like this, or mountains, you know where to look :)

@@ESPHMacD Look at the signs, we don't have white and red signs for road dangers in Sweden, they're yellow and red instead. Also the road dividers in Norway are yellow so it couldn't've been that either. I wouldn't have guessed Austria though to be fair.

The little vehicle you didn't know the name of at 12:14 is actually called an auto rickshaw, also commonly known as a tuk tuk.
In Bangladesh it is known as CNG (compressed nitro gas), tuk tuk is what they call it in Thailand I believe.
Funny how they managed to get both a CNG and a rickshaw in that picture, my mind immediately went to Bangladesh :D

@@fona24 it's a tuk-tuk in Sri-Lanka as well. But the way they generally look like in Thailand and Sri-Lanka is a bit different (different manufacturers), the one in the video is the Lankan one, this was my first country guess until I noticed the cycle rickshaw which is not a thing in Sri-Lanka

No, he guessed it right eventually, in fact the round ends earlier than the time limit. If you just don't do anything you're out I think. The differences with the following rounds is that you don't need to be fast because there's place for everyone, while in the other rounds you risk being eliminated just because someone was faster

8:31 While Estonia and Latvia are neighbours, the languages are completely different. Estonian is somewhat similar to Finnish while Latvian is somewhat similar to Lithuanian.
I've always been amazed by Tom's abnormal Geoguesser skills (and hence his exceptional knowledge about specific terrain features of different regions), but his flag and linguistics knowledge is below than what you'd expect from a geography enthusiast. I love him nevertheless.
One simple difference between Lithuanian and Latvian for foreigners: Lithuanian is more likely to have s in the end but Latvians usually don't have vowels before it. Aaand Lithuanian Street View is not updated, from 2011/12, so if you feel like everything is older, it is probably Lithuania.
Oh and Latvians use ī ē letters while Lithuanians don't. Also Lithuanians have ė which is only found in Lithuanian

Give me a chart of all the flags in the world, I'd fail easily. Especially with the African and Oceania countries. But give me a world map, I could clearly Identify all 200 countries under 8mins.

@@henrijs1733 Understandable :) It's almost like "chef-chick". "Sz" sounds like english "sh", but harder, the same goes with polish "cz" and english "ch". "W" sounds like english "v" or "f" depending on the word ;)

As a norwegian, I can give a quite handy tip. Norwegian road markers are somewhat unique. We use yellow markers in the middle of the lanes, and white markers on the side. This could be handy to recognising it against Sweden, for example, who has the opposite.

@@tsupss in a previous video (either a Sporcle football quiz or a Geoguessr football stadiums map) he mentioned Villa are his local team and all his mates support them, but he doesn’t have a team he supports himself
From someone who is really good with flags but still struggles with geoguesser its interesting to see how others wrong guesses are used. I actually have a few times been entirely lost until I realized that there have been a bunch of people qualifying but also a lot of misses right in a certain area. Usually there is a hole in the map those flags produce and I get through just on that, or at least know about where the right area is. The other fun one is when you see someone in a row get Lithuania, Latvia and then qualify. Its basically a lock answer is Estonia.
This is wonderful, please keep doing these videos man! Funny, interesting and informative, pretty much all you could ask for with a channel like yours
