It is funny, but Botswana actually pops up quite often in Geoguesser. I guess among African countries only South Africa and Nigeria is more often here than Botswana
Botswana seems to keep popping up in the Battle Royale. I was playing yesterday and did the exact same thing as Tom where I was SO confident that it was South Africa, yet it was Botswana.
and additionally the stopsign seems to have a yellow line in the middle. I'm not 100% sure about Norway, but Denmark would have a white line. My best guess is, that it has something to do with the flag. Swedish flag, yellow cross.

There are 10 of you at the beginning, and you have 3 guesses to guess the right county. Every round a certain amount of people can progress. In the first round all ten can get to the next one, but from that on each round one person is out. (you can see that by looking at the top where it say how many slots there are). Small example: there are 4 of you in let's say round 3, so there are 3 slots obviously. If everyone but you gets it right before you, you are out. Does that make sense?

Each time I play Battle Royale I go for Chad instead of Romania, for Monaco instead of Indonesia, and for Côte d’Ivoire instead of Ireland. These countries have almost same flags, so I confuse other people and win.
You can do the same with svalbard and norway. The game counts them separately for some reason and they have identical flags. Won a game recently with that
Quick tip for Austria / Germany: You can often tell which is which by looking at the street signs. In Germany we almost only have these very simple white signs with black text, while in Austria they often are blue and with a fancy font.

For example in ghana there is a bit of duct tape on the car so if you look down and see duct tape then you can safely guess ghana even if you are in the middle of nowhere

Hey Tom, since you seem to be confused on the rules of the battle royale I thought I'd help you out with them. 1. Every round there is a number of people who can move on. (not *will* move on, just *can* move on) On the first round this number is equal to the number of people in the game. In all subsequent rounds this number is one less than the number of people left in the game. 2. If you guess correctly before the number of people who can move on is filled up, you move on. 3. If you use up your lives and *anyone* has guessed correctly, you lose. 4. If you use up your lives and *no one* guesses correctly before the end, no one loses and everyone moves to the next round. 5. If the number of people who can move on is filled up before you make a correct guess, you lose. 6. If everyone guesses correctly before the yellow time runs out, everyone moves on to the next round. That's it! Hope that helps!
