Just a heads up if you aren't aware. In that last round, you had 10 guesses left. There's no harm in just spamming them down all over Britain when you have so many on the last round instead of moving along the road and trying desperately to pinpoint it when you're running out of time. It's almost a numbers game at that point.

Tom just a few prostrat tips: In the final 2 you need to look at how far away you are from the last person. So when he was 80 miles ahead of you moving up the road isn't effective, you probably want to move up at least 100 miles because if they have the right spot already you're probably fucked. In the semis you were playing a guy who only had one guess, so instead of guessing multiple times you only *really* needed one. You can also use the two numbers you received to base your guess on. You moved halfway up the country and your guess moved from 2.1miles ahead to 5.9 meaning the marker would be approximately in the middle of the two if you drew a perpendicular line between the two. If it really comes down to it you can use guess 3 to go right bang in the middle, 4 to go in one direction, and five to either go the opposite direction or the same direction if you improved

...but still fails to understand or properly utilize the clues the distances between players gives him (and how his guesses give clue to the other players). If the guess of the player closer than you is, say, 250 miles closer than yours, using another guess on any location closer than 250 miles to a previous guess, like he does at 6:55, 9:25 (the worst offender), 20:55 (and maybe 8:05), will never overtake that better player's guess. It might help to establish a direction (if one actually pays attention to the distances), but so does a guess further away that also at least has the chance to beat the other player.

Small tip for the Israel guess, in Jerusalem all buildings must have a facade of limestone bricks (called Jerusalem stone) so if you see any buildings that do not have that facade you're most likely not in Jerusalem and vice-versa, if all buildings have that facade there's a good chance you're in Jerusalem.
This is not completely fool proof because between 1945 and some time in the 60s the law was not enforced so there might still be a few buildings without the facade and there are also areas other than Jerusalem that have a lot of limestone buildings but in the vast majority of cases I think this should be correct.

I'm from Netanya, Israel.. finally got to see you go to this area. By the way, to that you're in Jerusalem - you'll find that the streets are a bit hilly rather that flat, and have some kind of older stone on the pavements. Tel Aviv area is always a good guess as it's very densely populated. Hilly with trees and you're in the north of Israel, desert-like surroundings and you're in the south. A good way to tell you're here in the middle of a road with nothing else around, is the orange stripe for the hard shoulder and usually a solid stripe on the left (at the time of the photographing, it has changed since). If you have a very long desert road with mountains in the distance (east), you're on route 90 along the border with Jordan. Route 40 hasn't been done yet so don't get confused.
I'm a 25,000 pointer on Israel, discovered the game through you so Thanks!

I love how you've taken an initiative and started playing this with moving. Every other CZcamsr is doing the same old: Im not going to move or anything, and that's not the way this mode was intended to be played. You go on and show them who's the boss. As you progress through ranks, opponents will get tougher and this is why I prefer watching you to any other because you always know how to make videos fun and keep them original.

It seems like the biggest improvement Tom could implement is to look at how far he is behind after a guess and move atleast that far for his next guess. if he is 130miles behind the lead it means the spot is more than 130 miles away. If he reads that and uses it to his advantage id assume he gets more consistent guesses. and therefore probably a few wins ;P

We work with a farm called Juchowo Farm just outside Stretchy Neck - Have been there several times. Not much in Stretchy Neck but it’s on a lake. Good spot for a meal and a few beers in the summer. There’s also a bit of WW2 history, including a big old bunker and T34 tank as you drive into town.

theres so much easy stuff you could do to win these not even via the map, but by looking at the information the game gives you on the distance.
like one that didnt matter where you changed your position significantly but the distance didnt change much, so its immediately obvious that you moved the guess in a radius around the actual location. or when you guess south england and the other dude is some 80 kilometers closer to the actual location.
