2023 GAC EMPOW GE: The Civic Type R alternative?

Much has been said about the GAC EMPOW GE as the budget Honda Civic Type R. But is it really? Does it have what it takes to go against the mighty Civic? While it has the looks and finish of a sporty sedan, the GAC EMPOW has a few tricks up its sleeves to make you think about it even more.
