    I love TalkSport. I really enjoy listening to Simon Jordan who knows a lot about the game. Whilst I am sure Jim is a nice chap I find his approach to be very irritating and provocative. Personally I would love Simon to just have his own show. If it wasn’t for Simon between 10.00 and 13.00 I would turn it off and wait for the next show. Sorry, but that’s how it is for me.

    Leeds didn't claim furlough, the players ended up deferring their wages, so the non-playing ataff got paid and didn't get made redundant.

      We did claim money from the government though. I believe that happened after the restart though to be fair.
      Edit: in December alone we claimed between £100,000 and £250,000. This is according to ITV News.

    Music and acting agents earn a far higher percentage from their clients then football agents. It is the clubs who are at fault.they the one's who paying agents to try and get the best players. Fees are based on the high wages they are prepared to pay their players.

You have the power to boycott games and unsubscribe to any broadcaster that move our traditional 3pm kick-offs, to times that suit them in the pursuit of massive advertisements profits and even more shareholder bonds.       @@dealz5197 and I agree with you on that mate, the prem will always make a ridiculous amount of money, there's no denying that, but I am just looking at the big picture and the future of the game. The only reason cockroach agents like Raiola exist, is because there is money to be made. It is almost as if they are doing the thinking for their clients rather than players taking responsibility for their own careers. The prem should be regulating on how agents' influences. As a Man United fan, I'd love to have Haaland at our club, but the agent is the biggest stumbling block of all.

    Well said Simon because one day the football in this country will go with a bang the wages for football players in the premier league is absolutely ridiculous and something needs to be done right across the board including agents fees🤬
    As for Newcastle yes they let the government pay the staff on furlough not necessarily to reduce the players wages more because it’s Mike Ashley and in many people’s opinion he should fail the owners and directors test especially in the last 6 years on what he is doing too our club.
    Yes he has done some decent things in the early days but now he is stripping the club of every single Penny the club is rotten from the top.

    Football is better than ever , clubs paying the agent fees isn't a big deal to me . We need more top player in the premier League .

    Who cares?
    The Premier League has the best players because of the agents and without them maneuvering player sale pitches to all these big clubs, epl wouldnt be this phly.

    Epitomises why I gave up on talk sport . Jim White has and most likely always will be a pandering twat . 2020 has literally destroyed any enjoyment I had in main stream media . The positive side is I got back to reading more and listening to podcasts which free you up to crack on with things . The saying ‘ignorance is bliss’ is still very true but sod that 😂✌️
