Great Recipe! I also found out you can use box cake mix to make funnel cake. I found this out during my sophomore year of high school in culinary. We were told to make any recipe other than plain cake, with box cake mix. We used pineapple but other flavors are also delicious.

If you need the recipe, I used:
- 1 box mix (I used pineapple, but any other flavor should work)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Then, just fry like regular funnel cake.
No kidding, it's 11:00 pm and I'm gonna make this. My wife is going to be very confused in the morning.

I use a sandwich bag cut the tip and pipe it in the oil they come out looking like the ones at the fair

So no egg or milk or is it different cause your using pancake mix?
I’m using “complete” pancake mix. It’s the one where you just add water.
Can actually use a pipe in bag or get a plastic bag like a Ziploc bag and poke a hole in the bottom of it or cut a hole in the bottom of it and pipe it that way
