The only thing I don't like about using pancake mix is...pancake mix is more dense and uses more eggs then actual funnel cake mix. Funnel cake mix has less eggs in its mixture or either no eggs and is suppose to be Vegan friendly. Pancake mix is not vegan...it has a lot of eggs.

Pancake batter is normally used for funnel cake. It is also used for fried oreos. As well as a bunch of others.
But I usually use milk instead of water. Anything baking that says water you should put milk cause it’s come out more tastier
