I may agree with you but remember that not everyone thinks that way. I am heading home soon and there's absolutely no way I will be building a house there. I need a house that is finished from top to bottom. All I need is just my clothing, I haven't got any time to bother with any hassle with builders and contractors.

I stayed in this apartment during carnival 2019. Centrally locted, 1st floor. Small complex only 6 apartments. Also has elevator to 2nd floor. Had 24 hour security at that time.
I just really wished the developers would include more parks and green spaces. Consider that all the people in the unit don't have a large outside space to enjoy.
If I remember well these apts were here from the 80ties. They still look great
I don't care if the appliances were lined with gold... not worth it

Honestly don't see 45 million dollars here. Apart from the space there was nothing else that really grabbed or captured my attention. The furniture was a bit bland and boring and the finish in thr kitchen wasn't striking.
You can buy quite a few Mansions with 45 million at 2 to 4 million a piece in a lot of States in the US and other parts of the World. For that amount a person could have mansions built brand new.

Bro, USD 300K for a regular 2-bed apartment in Jamaica. And USD 2300/month to rent it!!! My rent in New York City- one of the most expensive places in the world when it comes to real estate- for my 2-bedroom apartment is $2400/month! No man! These people are getting from bad to worse now!

Not even the middle class or some uptown ppl will be able to afford housing at this rate. As Jamaica credit system is not set up like the US. And also eventually even foreigners won't want to buy in JA as the prices aren't adding up with the value of the quality of housing.

The unit is very pretty. Do you remember that unit you showed that had the automatic cabinets? Why have I been expecting those in every unit you show? LMBO! The laundry room was really big. I think my fave is the master bathroom and yes, give me AC in the house. 😚

It's a good investment....as someone who is in construction now I see value for money. My only issue is the layout/ design for the bathrooms....that could have been improved with an interior designer.

I HONESTLY feel like developers are ARTIFICIALLY inflating the price so it can be a sellers market like New York or customs overcharging for imported materials but I can tell you because this Jamaica an not the USA these overpriced charges are going to come back and bite them in the a$$ in a few years. @@Jojodone Well from my experience, you don't get secured parking, 24hr security, laundry room, balcony, swimming pool, etc in the US.
For the price I can guarantee a bigger and better houses. Too basic after seeing how they build houses in Nigeria. You get a lot more for your money believe me
@NardoRanks, In many parts of the US you can get all of that for that price. Just not in big popular crowded cities like New York,Chicago,or the sunshine States such as Florida, California,Etc. In quite of few Cities in the US 2,500 can get a really nice place place,nice area, extra amenities in an apartment.

Overpriced yes…are there persons willing to buy or rent it yes….if there wasn’t a market they would not keep jacking up prices…only when people refrain from buying them will they stop…but I don’t see that happening anytime soon…the apartment is very nice though..

The location is good but the house is not really worth the price. In the US I know that you can get a better place than this for the same money. I think that the presenter did a good job but this is not a great buy, I don't think they will get many offers (but who knows with this market).
Stop comparing to the US! Jeezaz compare apartments in the US to the US! This is Jamaica a small island where property comes at a premium in key locations. It’s is comparable to other properties locally
